I love getting a blowout before trips or special occasions so I can feel put‑together and low‑maintenance, but this place made that impossible. First appointment: I arrived on time the day of my trip. They were running 20 minutes behind with no warning, no courtesy call, no attempt to adjust or offer another stylist. I had to cancel because it would've thrown off the rest of my schedule. I ended up going on my trip without my hair done. I let it go and decided to give them another chance months later. Big mistake. Second appointment: I showed up on time again. It was over 90 degrees outside, and the stylist was standing outside because she couldn't get into the building -- someone had taken the keys. I've never experienced anything like this at any reputable salon. We stood there awkwardly in the heat, eating into my appointment time, again with no call, no warning, nothing. After about 12 minutes of waiting, I told her this was the second time something like this had happened. Once again no solution and no offer to make it right. Just indifference. And once again, I was left without a blowout for another special event. On top of all this, their prices have gone up, and the attitude here is not pleasant. Ladies, do not trust this place for a blowout or any hairstyle. They do not value your time, your schedule, or your important events. I want to address the blatant and disappointing inaccuracies in the salon's response to my review…read more I am extremely disappointed that instead of acknowledging the concerns I raised to improve future client experiences, the business chose to misrepresent what actually occurred during my visit. To be completely clear: my stylist did not consult with me even once about what I wanted my hair to look like. This includes tone - my hair is not even the correct color. The only person I spoke to about my hair goals was the assistant, not the stylist. At one point, I even had to ask the assistant whether I would be getting a root smudge (I've been getting my hair done for 15 years and am familiar with what is typically involved in my services), because again, the stylist did not communicate with me at all about my preferences. The stylist blow-dried a single section of my hair and then did not return. After that first section, the next and last time I saw her was as I was walking out of the salon, while she was actively blow-drying another client's hair. Because of this, there is no possible way she could have done a "final check," assessed breakage, or evaluated the overall condition of my hair as suggested in the response. While the stylist did eventually call to apologize (which is the bare minimum), I did not hear from the salon itself. If they truly cared about hearing/fixing my experience, I would have heard directly from them. I will not be returning to this salon or this stylist. Why would I return to a place where I felt disrespected, rushed, unheard, and where my hair was damaged? I also want to clarify that I have no issue with a stylist working alongside an assistant. In fact, I mentioned in my original review that the assistant was very sweet. My issue is with a stylist who does not communicate with me at all, is dismissive and rude, and is so overbooked that she is barely present for the service I was paying for. I did not include this originally, but the stylist was also extremely rude to the assistant, so much so that I considered stepping in because of how poorly she was speaking to her. Overall, the fact that the owner chose to respond with inaccuracies instead of genuinely addressing the issues raised is very reflective of this business.

I had two recent appointments here and unfortunately had a very poor experience…read more I paid over $600 for lightening and vivid color services, expecting to work directly with the owner. However, significant portions of the service were performed by an assistant without my consent. The appointments were also heavily overbooked--I spent over 10 hours in the salon across two visits, much of that time waiting. More concerning was the outcome. My hair has sustained significant damage, including breakage in the front where an entire layer was overprocessed and broke off, requiring me to cut bangs to cover it. The overall condition of my hair is now extremely dry, brittle, and straw-like--the worst it has been in over 25 years of coloring my hair. There were also technical issues during the service. My color was rinsed prematurely, which removed pigment and required reapplication, leading to additional unnecessary processing. My eyebrows were also affected during the service and had to be corrected afterward at my own expense. I reached out directly to try to resolve this, but was only offered a partial refund that does not reflect the extent of the damage or the corrective work now required. He damaged my hair beyond repair and now refuses to even take accountability and refund me - so that I can attempt to begin the healing journey for my hair. When I attempted to resolve this directly, my concerns were dismissed and I was offered only a minimal partial refund that did not reflect the outcome. The tone of the response did not feel professional or solution-oriented. There is no amount of money that can reverse the damage to my hair, but a full refund would be a reasonable acknowledgment of the outcome and the cost now required to correct it.
