Within the first few minutes of arriving, the staff started talking about how their treatment works best only if I also use their own products. When I asked about the price, I was told the products were over $300, which already made me feel uncomfortable. What bothered me even more was that they said the treatment would include a TCA 5% peel, and that I basically had to purchase their sunscreen for $50 because other sunscreens would not be good enough. This felt like a forced upsell before the actual service even started. The treatment itself was very rushed and underwhelming. The process was basically a quick cleanse, applying the TCA 5% peel, some extractions with a comedone/extraction tool, and then about 10 minutes under an LED light. The extractions were not thorough at all, and honestly did not feel professionally done. I also did not see a clear sterilization process for the tool, and at one point the tool seemed to touch the treatment bed/linen area, which made me concerned about hygiene. The entire treatment was only around 20 minutes from start to finish. For a $120 acne treatment, this felt extremely rushed, careless, and not worth the price. I have been getting facials and acne treatments for years, and I know my own skin well. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. I originally wanted to book a one-hour facial, but Jin insisted that the first session had to be 1.5 hours for $120. I felt something was off, but I agreed. At the beginning, I clearly pointed out the areas I wanted to address--some milia near my eyes and a raised bump on my nose. She said, "We'll talk about it later." Then she spent almost an entire hour just massaging my face. During the massage, she even said, "You don't have acne, so just enjoy the massage." But I didn't go there to relax--I came specifically to treat the milia and bumps. I can easily do massage, masking, and basic blackhead removal at home. What I needed was proper extraction and treatment, which she barely did. The actual extraction was very brief--only a small area on my forehead and along my hairline - and then a 10-minute mask. The total session didn't even last the full 1.5 hours, even though I was charged for that.（3:50 -5:10) The extraction was extremely painful, but I endured it. At the very end, she told me that removing the other milia would require an additional $100, and I'd have to come back next time. If that was the case, she should have told me upfront when assessing my skin. The pricing and treatment process felt very unclear and not transparent at all. It honestly gave me the impression that she was trying to split the service just to charge more. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it.
