I came in here to try out their nail services in the hopes of finding a replacement to my old nail place. I am not big on message but love a clean and detailed pedicure. Ana did my pedicure, which if it wasn't for her, I'd give them 1 star and never come back. She was very sweet, respectful and detailed, I love a pedicure that goes deep under and also provides a decent message. The manicure ... Aaaahhh not satisfied at all, I had to remind the lady to file my nails and one cuticle was cut so deep I was bleeding when I walked out. I have bumps on some nails... See the pictures... And some nails are not even fully polished. Will I be going back? Yes, I will because of Ana and I'm hoping she can do my manicure if not I will be requesting someone else and give them a second opportunity. This is my favorite nail shop. Thuy does the best French manicures in town. This nail shop is professional and you don't have that feeling that the nail techs are talking about you (and you know what I mean). The gel nails are the bomb. You can get any color on your own nail and they last forever. It's so hard to find a really good nail shop where the focus is on the customer and not rushing them out like numbers. Went here for lash extensions and left completely unhappy... I was received by one of the ladies and she completely rude about my hair cut that I already had, I don't know if that was her way of trying to make me cut it with them but it was uncalled for. The guy doing my lashes was nice but definitely did not do a good job, they are scattered, with clumps of glue which he said was just my mascara but I had absolutely no mascara on and if that were the case how come it's not coming off? And on top of that they are crooked, some are falling diagonally onto other eyelashes... Now I'm going to have to go somewhere else and pay to take them off and put new ones on... So, i was first VERY impressed with the GUY working there. HE is the SON of the owner and he was great and so personable and funny. however the "waxing" ladies you know what I am talking about. THe MAMA (owner) had done my first one, which was the best. THe second time I went it, I asked for MAMA since i knew her work. Well of course no, they placed me with a newer worker brought in from FINEST NAILS and she used the roll on wax which looked like the rollers were previously used and she BURNT me and left a scar. I am not kidding the mark is still there on my stomach (which i had asked to have waxed and touched up a bit) and there is a fricken darkened scar on my stomach where she had placed the HOT wax. I told her that the wax was too hot, even for down there (now I can with stand HOT wax) but this was too damn hot! she smiled at me and just patted my shoulder and didnt lower the heat or cool it off before putting it on. Its been 4 weeks since and yup... still the dark mark is still there. So, no i do not recommend getting waxed for the gel manicures there. but the basic pedicures and the manicures are great!!!! ohhhh DONT get the GEL manicures! well, i dont recommend it atleast. It seems you have to go to ONE specific person for it. otherwise anyone else goops on 4 layers of too much polish and say its your fingers fault for being shaped a certain way. hmmmmm. read more

I have been coming here for about 8 years now since I was referred here by my sister. I get the Japanese straightening treatment for my unruly hair and my sister opts for the Brazilian Blow-out. The results are amazing every time - I walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I have recommended Lin to all my girlfriends and co-workers because she is truly skilled at what she does. (She is a perfectionist!) - Her prices beat the competition but the results she gives are why I recommend her. Lin's son Thuy is another great asset to this Beauty salon. I got my eyebrows done here the other week and it was by far the best eyebrow threading i've ever had (and i've been religiously going to vinita's for 8 years now). The threader perfectly shaped my eyebrows, plucked around the edges and even trimmed down the hair to make it all even. best part -- it didn't hurt at all! i could barely feel the thread. great job and i will be coming here from now on! read more

I love this place! Its a small salon with manicure and pedicure service. I came here as a walk in and they took me in right away. It really sucks not being able to speak Vietnamese because the ladies here are so sweet and friendly. I got a pedicure with a sea salt scrub; it was so relaxing and they were super gentle. I've been to many nail salons where they're so rough on you and you always end up leaving with a small booboo on next to your cuticles. But not here! They also offer a free eyebrow wax/thread with Yelp check in if you do another service. Definitely my go-to salon when I'm around the area. read more

I used to go to Loann when she was at Nice Hair Salon and was so disappointed she had left and I had to use a different stylist at Nice. She didn't cut my hair very well and I was disappointed. So of course, I was very happy to track Loann down at Beauty Time. She does a great job of cutting and styling my hair at a great price. She's very outgoing and loving. So far, I like Beauty Time better than at the other salon because they also do nails. Went to get my eyebrows threaded and I must say I'm pretty happy with the results. You lay on a bed as if you're getting a facial/massage and ask you to relax. Shoes off. Never had that experienced before for just an eyebrow threading! Very relaxing and also a great price for $9! Highly recommend this place. Staff is very friendly as well. Called and made an appointment for a Mani pedi. No other customers were there so it was quiet. The chair was really uncomfortable and didn't massage like most others usually do. During my Mani she cut me at the corner of my thumb and I had to tell her even though I'm sure she knew but ignored it. Also some nails were longer on one hand and a bit uneven. For my toes she did pretty well. Didn't really scrub or massage firmly but it was fine I guess. I had my nails matte and the coat for matte was put on sloppily so I had to ask her to re do it for both my toes and fingers. i was tolerating all of that thinking this was a cheaper place, but even that was not true. In the end, I was upset because it all costed a whopping $42! That's way over priced for an ok job. I could've went to a better place and paid the same amount for something better. She told me in the beginning it was 27 for Mani pedi. And with gel finger nails, she said $15 more on top of it. Which is why $42, but I never thought or paid that much for simply a Mani pedi with gel fingers. Ridiculous! I will not be coming again sorry. read more

When I called to schedule an appointment, Lin answered and said she would have LuAnn call me since she is the stylist I wanted. That never happened. I finally called LuAnn and learned she doesn't take Groupon. Called the shop again and scheduled appointment with Lin at 10 AM on a Sunday. Specifically gave my phone number in case. Went to the shop and it was closed. When I called, Lin said she had a cold and didn't have my number to call. LIE is what I told her. She just kept repeating herself making no sense about excuse. Every place I called said it was too late or come back next day. Then I called this place & was told to come in, she would wait for me.
