She greeted me at my arrival, showed me my room and gave me a quick rundown of the house rules. The rooms are massive compared to my small NYC apartment and other "boutique" hotels. The bathroom was incredible with great lighting and a massive pedestal sink. I even think the soaps and shampoos available are vegan and handmade. Every bit of the house is there to help you feel relaxed, starting with the light music that plays in the downstairs area. I was in the Hamptons for work so unfortunately could not relax on the amazing property as much as I wished. However, I had the best night's sleep that night, and woke up feeling so refreshed. I took a long walk that morning, and drove down to Westhampton beach. I highly suggest visiting in the off season, because it felt like I was on a private beach! I will definitely visit again, for personal relaxation, and take advantage of the other services offered like yoga and massage!

It's about Uncle Charlie's will." This was delivered by a fellow guest who happened to be seated at the head of the table.... Anyway, as soon as you get seated they'll start whipping up some tucker for ya. We had crepes one morning and French toast the next; both were great. The inn is a beautiful property that was custom built as a B&B and has a large open plan sitting room and dining area as well as wonderfully clean and cared for rooms with soft sheets and comfy beds... Breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have Maureen's special one day due to allergies, so she made us eggs as we wanted them, without any fuss. The negative review gave us a big chuckle because there is nothing in that review that bears any resemblance to Maureen and the Shearwater Inn... the breakfast is not sloppy and if there's anything you need you just have to ask for it and Maureen will get it for you. Tea and coffee is not served in paper cups at all... there are china mugs available and you can help yourself to tea and coffee as you see fit... All in all, a wonderful stay and cannot recommend the Shearwater Inn highly enough; a lovely property with a wonderful hostess... definitely worth staying here :-)

Then my margarita that I ordered with sugar came... wooo hop but one big lick and I almost died spitting out a mouth of salt out..... thank god I had water with lemon and lime because that was ruff... so anyway my drink came wrong and my husbands beer had to be asked for twice... apps came in a timely manner the Ahi tuna was fantastic the taco's were delicious (we had one of each) and they where really fresh. I asked Miss can we get another round? Drinks never came. But Dinner came and it as amazing! For a larger Bed & Breakfast in terms of the property itself, it felt super warm and cozy. The common areas were really nice and the rooms were perfect. The location can't be beat as you are right in the middle of the North Fork surrounded by great wineries, restaurants, and beaches. As to the breakfast portion of the "B & B"? Let's just say we didn't need to eat the rest of the day. It was fantastic. Our hosts - Dave and Donna - were just so nice and we not only enjoyed staying at their house, but really enjoyed sitting and chatting with them during our visit. They do a great job and made us feel welcome. If you are heading to the North Fork, it's a perfect place to settle in for a night or more. The enclosed backyard is a nice perk, my little guy loved running around & sniffing everything. The YARD is amazing and a beautiful space for you and your pup to run around freely. Also the location is so convenient with shops just down the road as well as the beach. We were there in "off peak" season but had pretty great weather. Cam and Victor's breakfasts are also sooo delicious (the biscuits!!!).
