Ugh I REALLY wanted to love this place! I don't know if it's because I called at 6pm and asked for a basic mani/pedi and it was late in the day and they were tired and just wanted to go home or whatever the reason but I don't feel like this is $65 job ($35 pedi/ $30 mani) plus a $10 tip so $75 for this. Ya'll be the judge just look at the photos. I got my nails done 1 day ago. $75 dollars and I have to go redo my nails. I don't know maybe I just just ugly feet or something.

If you're looking for a nail salon with more of an intimate setting and nail techs who take their time with their craft. I'm always a satisfied customer leaving and in general when I make my appointment because I know they're always going to take care of me and accommodate my needs. I don't always get my nails done but when I do I come here for that mani-pedi combo and I'm always nodding off in my chair. Couldn't resist stopping by my new fave salon today for some over-the-top nail art. Love this retro 80's fluro & glitter gel manicure by Anna! She was amazing (& I hear Beca is too). It was also VERY affordable compared to other LA or NYC salons. It's a very small boutique salon with just a few chairs, so the ambiance is straightforward & best if you're going for solo mani/pedi or with a friend (not a big group). But definitely check them out -- they are such precise, focused, super talented artists & technicians. If you bring in inspo pics they can do anything. Huge fan. Will be back every time I come thru LA for SURE.

Not welcoming. No one said hi or thank you. I was early/on time and was very pleasant/polite. It's stuffy and a bit messy from nail dust etc. I wanted to wear a mask. I don't appreciate the communication, they assumed I wanted short nails and then made me feel bad about wanting longer nails? It was awkward and hell I'm Asian too ok. They're busy and one of the cheapest around. I gave a generous tip because nail work is a lot of painstaking work but I will not be back. read more

My new favorite nail salon! I've been to Beca nails twice. This is a cute little nail salon located in the Phoenix Salon Suites building. I've worked with both Beca and Anna on my nails and they are fantastic. I've gotten builder gel twice and my nails are looking and feeling strong and long. Another woman did my pedicure yesterday but I completely forgot to ask her name - she was lovely as well. Prices are very reasonable for the area. read more

Recently found Beca and I won't go to anyone else anymore!! Here's why: 1. She's a private studio nail salon which means it's actually relaxing and quiet. Getting your nails done should feel like a treat and never stressful. Great environment to be in! 2. Beca is talented and can do whatever shape or nail design you want! She truly cares about her clients being happy with the service she provides. Beca is also very sweet and personable. One of my fave things I NEED to mention is how efficient she is. Beca is quick and the results are top quality! I enjoy getting my nails done by her. 3.Free parking up to 90 minutes! The nail salon will ask you to park in the parking garage and will validate your ticket. You'll be in and out before that 90 minutes tho. No worries there! 4.Booking an appointment is super easy as there are many ways to book. I'll keep updating my review to share all the designs I get with Beca in the future. I absolutely adore Beca! I found her almost 4 years ago when salons reopened after Covid when she was working at a salon on Melrose. When she started her own salon I followed her and I still drive to her even though I moved out of Weho. I am particular about my nails and I love that I can sit down and not worry about how they'll turn out, I can just sit back and relax and know they'll be beautiful. She is skilled and consistent! I get dip powder and my nails are so strong. Her online booking system is very easy and she is very responsive on phone/text as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone! read more

Also , she used "toilet paper " to separate my toes as you can see in the picture, I thought that was gross and tacky! I really needed my cuticles cut so I was desperate! I most likely won't go there again because it was just uncomfortable, the energy was disingenuous , and it was extremely uncomfortable. I tipped $20 although I don't know if those two girls will actually be given get the tip. They need to work on their communication and their protocol because it was just tacky and uncomfortable!

Every appointment. 1-2 days after getting my nails done, after every visit with her, the gel-x nails would crack or break in half. I've been getting apres gel-x for yearsssss (on a monthly basis at multiple salons all over LA and Canada). This has never happened to me before where they would break, only after visiting this salon.... when i reached out to her multiple times to express my disappointment, for $150+ nails, she deflected, blamed... me? for my nails?! This was my last conversation with her. After I confronted her, she unfollowed and blocked me on social media. I just wanted a refund of the $$ I paid for my nails. As a note, when I get gel-x at Ibiza Nails in WeHo, or Nail'd It in Glendale or Pasadena - those aprex gel-x last me 4-6 weeks, even when I was moving and opening boxes. Sadly, due to how I was treated, and the state of my nails, with lumpy thick coats, and the prep/cleaning of the nails, after every appointment, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this salon.
