Ordered takeout from here since I live nearby and it was good! The food was ready for pickup quickly and the service was quick, pleasant, and efficient. For food, we got wings, a steak wrap, and cheese curds. Wings: "world famous" may be a bit of a stretch, but these were very good wings and I was very satisfied. We got garlic parmesan and honey sriracha. The sauce was a little thin/lacking, but the flavor was delicious. Personally I loved the garlic parmesan ones. The actual chicken was good quality as well. Wrap: This was okay, but I probably wouldn't get it again. The steak was a little chewy/stringy and the other toppings all kinda mushed together. It was fine, but I wasn't super impressed and the flavor was just pretty boring to me. Curds: These were good. Not the best cheese curds in the city, but solid and tasty. I really liked how they were nice and crispy. I'd get them again if I was craving cheese. Overall, this was a solid takeout meal and I'll probably order from here again. When I do, I'll definitely be getting more wings. read more

Being a neighborhood staple for my boyfriend and me ever since we moved down the street I am heartbroken to write this review. I was treated so rudely beyond belief tonight while attempting to pick up my takeout order. I don't think I can see this place in a positive light anymore. I approached Beck's with a smile (and perhaps some drool) in anticipation for our Beck's burger, Cobb salad, fried pickles, etc. and I was greeted by unfriendly, awkward "hi's" and an energy that felt like the servers were almost annoyed I came in to pick up my order?? It was just all wrong from the start.. I was told "my order wasn't there", "I must have gotten it delivered and to go back home to see if it showed up", "there's nothing we can really do", and "it'll be a long time to remake it if you really want to pay again and wait"... There was absolutely no apology whatsoever and then I was ignored for 10 minutes as I stood there waiting to hear of a solution to correct things... My theory is it was given to a delivery driver on accident and no one would admit it? I felt like I was to blame for this mishap, which made me feel very disrespected. I ordered wings for the game on Saturday. The wings were decent and the cheese curds were good. We ordered chicken strips for our son and generally chicken strips are a good indicator of if a restaurant is decent or trash. Beck's past the test! They have a quality tender. Great new spot from the folks who own Toons... it just opened!! Nice selection of draft beers with 12 on the rail heavy on the local brews. The food is awesome here, definitely try the wings but not just the buffalo style.. the other flavors are AMAZING! I never order anything but buffalo style but you have to try the Honey Siracha or Garlic Parmesan. Stopped in for the 2nd half of the Bears vs. Packers game. Sat at the bar and was welcomed immediately by very friendly, but not overly friendly staff. Ordered the Beck's Burger (Double Cheeseburger) and fries. Served food very quickly. The Burger (with Grilled onions) served HOT, was juicy and flavorful. The fries were also excellent. Overall an outstanding experience. Service was top notch, food was outstanding. Very good value. Possibly one of the Best Burgers in the City. A must try. I will definitely be back! I had the KC burger and it was delicious. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, KC bbq sauce, and two patties. I chose to stick with the chips, but for an up charge they have tots or fries, which looked great. I will have to try them next time. The staff are friendly and amazing! The location, outside seating are great if you're in this area. I like that even for bar food their healthier/relatively healthier options taste good. My boyfriend and I have lived in the Lincoln Park neighborhood for the past year. We've wanted a good chill bar that we can go to regularly and we have definitely found that in Becks! We've had nothing but good experiences here. The servers are always so friendly. I've only had the wings so far but they are great! They have a nice little draft list. This feels like a cop out review because we only had drinks and an appetizer but I really enjoyed my time here! We were waiting for a table at Pequod's next door and were intrigued by the low key vibe of Beck's. I appreciated that it was not too loud for an average bar and the space was set up nicely. We were served right away and the bartender was more than willing (and very knowledgable) to craft the perfect cocktail. The cheese curds were also bomb.com. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Place was empty, so got a seat right away. Lots of TVs so was surprised no one was there especially Will college football on. Started off with the chili, was pretty good, nice and chunky. I got the patty melt per the bartender's request. It was great, nicely toasted, patties were thin, and exactly how it should taste. I was planning a Super bowl party and was excited to order wings from Beck's because I like their product and flavor variety. I called two weeks in advance to make sure that i would be able to get my order in and was told, "We aren't taking orders in advance right now. It usually takes us 20 minutes in advance but on Super Bowl Sunday it will take us 25. Call then" I took that advice, waited a week, and called back. Similar response telling me no need to worry just call a half hour before. I called last night and left them my information but was again promised that it would be no issue to place my order on the day of the game. Finally, I called today to place my order and was told that there were no wings, that they had to reserve some for potential in-house diners, and that a nation-wide chicken shortage was to blame. We are now scrambling to figure out how to get food last minute on the day of the super bowl. Terrible service. I would have at least respected if they had simply owned up to their mistake but to make half hearted excuses on top of everything leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm done with Beck's. read more

Weekend trip with my son to Chicago!! I'm a strictly local eater on trips. We tried to get deep dish next door but it was a 50 minute wait and rude. We see Beck's next door. We walk in at 10:05pm and the staff is so friendly. They share that the kitchen is closing at 10:30. I ordered 12 wings (6-Sweet Chili & 6-Jerk). The were piping hot from being freshly made and sauce was amazing!! The BEST WINGS I've ever had!! This is a must eat!! read more
