just so happened, I was in the area, and thought I check out this place. This place was a painting supply store, before it became Bed Mart. I always passed this place, but was never in the market for beds. I walked in and was greeted by Keith, he was easy going and pleasant to talk to, he made you feel comfortable and no haggling required. I had an idea of what I wanted and looking for in a mattress, and he directed me to a mattress, with a great price, and included a box frame to go along with it. The price was reasonable and right on the money. What even make it more pleasant was the bed was available, and could be delivered the next day. Keith assured me that the bed will be delivered on time, and as a courtesy, they can remove the old mattress, and put it outside of the car port, no charged. It's not a huge store but big enough with good selection. Soft to firm bed with various price. Romie help me and my husband find our new bed. He was great. He got us the proper pillows to match our body type. And we used those pillows and disposable covers to tryout different beds. I had ordered a bed with another retailer and unfortunately at the last minute the bed that was supposed to be delivered and I paid additional for the shipping was changed to 3 to 4 weeks with no visible shipping date. So I happened to drive by and saw BedMart. I pulled in and met Keith he was wonderful he let me try out several different beds to find out my comfort level with the mattresses. He had me lay down and roll around and just basically test drive the bed I was extremely happy with my purchase at the discount that Keith gave me. He also tried to throw in some extras but we had already had the items at home. But the part we really appreciate with Keith was I had to go back to California to pick up my girlfriend and dog and bring them back to Hawaii. Keith worked out where his warehouse could deliver the bed after our plane had landed at Honolulu airport so we came home to the bed and the delivery people waiting for us!!!!!!! I've read such great reviews in Yelp about BedMart Kapolei that we had to check it out ourselves. We were met by Jason St James who had a wealth of knowledge (aka subject matter expert). His official title is Expert Sleep Consultant....and he exceeded in the performance of his duties. Jason recommended a few mattresses, gave us short brief on them, and allowed us to lay and compare a variety of mattresses freely. Jason must have thought we were having too much fun walking around the store with our pillow and laying on mattresses. Neither did he know, we were. lol. We didn't feel pressured or hassled. In the end, we bought a premium mattress and pillows and are completely 100% satisfied. You need a mattress.... go see Jason at BedMart Kapolei! Before coming into BedMart, I had had a bad experience with an overly pushy and not well-informed salesman of MattressFirm. Keith Fukumoto of the Kapolei BedMart was the complete opposite, and made sure that I had received nothing less than fantastic customer service. He very patiently listened to my concerns with my current bed and took mental notes of my needs and preferences. He then recommended the best bed that would give me the ideal support to address my back pain. Keith recommended that I take my time and didn't rush me, as he wanted me to be sure that the bed I got was one that would make me happy and that felt right to me. After trying a few out, the one that he had recommended for back support was absolutely the best and I went ahead and purchased. He walked me through next steps, giving me the best price and background on warranty and delivery. He also mentioned that the beds on the sales floor have already been broken in, and gave me tips on how I can use my knee to break the mattress in if it was too firm on arrival. After delivery that same week, Keith sent an email to make sure everything went smoothly with delivery and that I was liking the product, so his service impressed me. We went to 4 other bed stores before coming here. I decided to Yelp bed stores around my parent's home & that's how I found this place. We came in about 6:20pm. It was nice & empty (they close at 7pm) Jason was very helpful and patient with us. He didn't try to up sell us anything we didn't need. We ended up with a king sized pillow top mattress with a mattress protector, a box spring, and metal bed frame. Our plan was to just leave the bed on a box spring since we have kids but the metal frame didn't make much of a difference in height. We just got our keys last week and their delivery is accommodating when we are available. He said for us to just give at least a 48 hour notice (a little earlier if it's going to be on the weekend which is understandable). Thanks again Jason for helping us find the perfect bed. Best place to buy a mattress on Oahu! (Trust me - we've been looking for weeks!) There was something different when we walked into BedMart - we weren't tackled or dragged to the most expensive mattresses right away and nobody tried to "wow" us with fancy mattress technology. We were treated like normal people - we were shown some comparisons between mattresses with our desired features and given space to try things out and talk amongst ourselves. It was the most pleasant furniture shopping experience we've had! Big kudos to Jason, who was the nicest, most genuine (and knowledgeable) salesperson we've met. The fourth or fifth place we looked, we've seen just about everything there is to see. While the prices were certainly right, we decided to buy our mattress because of him - period. A couple of weeks ago the wife and I had spoken about getting a new bed. I just so happen to be Kapolei and saw a Bed Mart there. I'd never visited one so I thought I'd check it out. Right away I met Jason, he was very helpful and educational when explaining the differences in the bed. I found one that suited our needs, but of course had to get approval from the BOSS! Lol Shortly there after, on Black Friday I had an incident with another Bed Mart store that I wasn't to thrilled about. I voiced my concern and was met with Great responses. I ended up speaking with Jasmine who was very kind an truly heard me. She convinced me to give Bed Mart another Go. Fast forward to today, I was able to bring my wife in to test the bed I liked. Awesome service from the moment you walk in to pick up/delivery! Keith was knowledgeable and helpful when my parents needed to replace their bed. He was able to match a mattress that suited their needs. Delivery and disposal was arranged, which worked out great, as they are older. I actually suggested that they try there after checking out Yelp reviews and it worked out. Take 2: we had to replace our daughter's mattress, as it had run its course on usable life. Even though she wasn't with us at the time. Keith was able to help us narrow down the options that would work for her. Luckily, the mattress was available for pick up at their warehouse. He explained setup and how the mattress was going to expand. I was amazed at how big it gets from a compressed rolled up state. Our daughter loves her new mattress! Take 3: long overdue to replace our mattress. Sleep apnea, back problems, OPP (old people problems), etc. Lol. Keith's knowledge was instrumental in helping us with our selection. For the amount of time that is spent sleeping, we upgraded to a base and mattress that would help us get a great night's rest. Warehouse guys were exceptional. Delivery window was given the day before, and updates received prior to arriving the day of. They had to deliver upstairs to the master bedroom and mentioned things that might be affected along the route. We made as much space as we could the night before, and moved a few things just before they proceeded. Adjusted to the height we wanted and made sure everything was in proper working order. Also, learned a new term from the guys that day. We actually disposed of the old mattress and box spring the day before. I mentioned how the mattress was difficult to maneuver due to its age. The veteran mentioned "taco" because that is the shape it has when moving an old mattress around. That was hilarious! True that!
