For starters, let me say that the two young women I dealt with were amazing sales people!! They lure you in with a free sample--then, aggressively almost demandingly apply product to your face. I'm no shrinking violet, but I could not escape their grasp and ended up spending over $300 on products I really didn't need. That was just the beginning...then came the "free" light treatment--now we're talking thousands of dollars (not hundreds). The young woman was so assertive, trying to sell me the "package" , that began at $6,000. I don't think in all my years I have ever been pressured to spend my money the way I was today! My wife, mom and I were at Topanga mall leaving Macy when one of the worker at Bee & Co got my mom attention to try their product at the front of their store then took her inside to try other products. They are very pushy on trying to get you to buy their product and use their service. I believe they get commission which is why they are pushy. Their products are on the pricer side and they'll try to tell you they are giving you a special deal but don't believe it. I had to basically go in the store to get my mom out of there. I just told one of the lady applying the product on my mom that we aren't interested and walked out. This store is on the second floor close to Macy and they'll be women waiting in front of their store to get your attention to try their free sample but it's a trick to get you inside. My advice is to just keep walking and say no thank you. read more

Such a great experience at Bee & Co. I came in for a facial treatment and ended up having a really relaxing and pampering day. The team was super friendly and very knowledgeable about skin care. They explained everything they were doing and made sure the treatment was right for my skin. My skin looked and felt noticeably better after the session. A total scam. Don't even fall for their free sample. They lured my mom in, probably bc she looks foreign and hella Asian -- easy to manipulate. But i wasn't buying it. She applied this "collagen" that came in a tube and at first yea, i was impressed with the results, I had to look it up online. I asked the worker how much it was and she said one was 600 and a serum was 500. Then she continued to say it's on a deal or promotion for 2 for 400$ with a free treatment.. every time my mom was amazed, but kept saying it was expensive. She asked us if we knew anyone who was in the military bc she gave a military discount to 240$. At that point, i knew something was up so i went onto the stores yelp page to see how their reviews were. What do u know... people have had the same scammy experience. She was showing my mom photos of "before and after" and at that point she knew i wasn't even paying attention. I asked her are those your companies before and afters about 5 times before she said yes it is. They literally looked like photos they grabbed from the internet to create this whole imagination of a company. I kept asking her what the ingredients were in the product and she just kept saying "collagen". While her voice was loud and prominent in the beginning, as i dug deeper and asked her questions, she kept avoiding and talking quieter. I told my mom let's go. This is a scam. And as we were walking about 400 ft out of the store, she told me it does look like there's a difference. But it also feels like it's just glue. I looked at her and there's literally a white cast that looks like fucking glue. Are you kidding me?!?! Now it all makes sense why they gave her a fan to "speed up the process" when actually it was to DRY THE GLUE. We immediately rushed to the restroom to wash her face and threw the sample out. Who knows what the hell is in their products. AVOID THIS PLACE. it's a waste of your damn time. Really don't know how they're operating. read more

They lure you in with a free sample and then pull a bait-and-switch, pressuring you to buy products and services you didn't plan on getting. They told me my purchase came with a free facial, but instead, they booked me for light therapy--which is not free--and slipped the appointment card into the bag with the product I bought. They said they'd send a reminder, but when I got home, I noticed the card didn't even have a date or time written on it. To make things worse, the contact number on the card doesn't work. When I finally found their website (which was hard enough to locate), I saw their cancellation policy states they'll charge you the full price if you miss your appointment--very convenient considering they never provided an actual appointment time. I was hanging out with my friend at the mall with no intentions of purchasing anything when I was approached by a young woman working to this store and offered me a free sample of some facial cream and offered a free demonstration which I thought was harmless until I tried to get up and leave the saleswoman put her hand on my arm and kept saying "Sit Sit!" while holding me. It became incredibly uncomfortable and she began asking personal questions that made me even more uncomfortable then proceeded to aggressively sell me a $150 of some crème with a label that had no real information on what it was and told I'm getting a student discount for a starter kit and then added another $150 worth of products which i didn't ask for and when I told them I didn't have the money for that, she said to me "Your a young good looking man with a good job of course you have money" I felt genuinely hopeless and I was too scared to just leave since I don't like being rude. I was charged over $331.5 for what I found out was anti aging products which I DONT NEED SINCE IM 20 but I was told it was anti ache, moisturizer, vitamins, just a good skincare product. I feel very violated after this experience and because they have a no refund policy I am now filing a dispute with my bank for a fraudulent and deceptive transaction.
