This has to be the most un-authentic Vallarta I've ever been to, nothing about it is what I recall…read moreof Vallarta from when I was little. The quality of foods at this Vallarta is very poor. Especially when it comes to their ceviche as well as to their hot bar. Today I purchased a grilled chicken combo with a side of canned refried beans, the beans tasted like canned beans- something that's been premade and prepackaged. The rice is dry. The chicken is dry. There's was even hair on the skin of the chicken. This is just very disappointing. Not just that, to top it all off you can tell that at this Vallarta the main motive is money, because everything is overpriced and the quality it's not worth the price. One thing that definitely made me review my experience was the work environment- which seem hostile. I witnessed when the manager of the store or the kitchen walked in and not acknowledge the workers -walked straight passed them; like he was king out of the hill. Up on receiving my food- the ladie serving my food, asked if I wanted a bag? I said yes, and then she proceeded to ask me to go pay for the bag- at the cashier. I explained to her that I was never offered a bag when I purchased my combo, so I found it a little bit annoying that she was asking me to go back to the register and pay for a $.25cent bag. The lady proceeded to honored me a free bag, even though her coworker was telling her how she was going to get in trouble by the supervisor or the manager for giving me a free bag which just correlates with my analogy of this place being in a hostile work environment place where superiority is completely approved by higher management. The fact that your own employees feel threatened to provide a customer with a small item that cost is zero to nothing speaks a lot about the way that management handles their employees and customer needs. Anyhow, this has been my local Vallarta for a long time, but there's a lot to desire from this location as I used to go to the location in Canoga Park on Sherman Way and their hot bar was completely better more fresh, the service and working environment seem a little bit more friendly. I suggest management revisit their management team and provide a little bit more collaborative, friendly and progressive work environment.

Like the kind that makes you slow down for a second. Not too sweet, just right, and super comforting.Honestly felt like something someone's abuelita made in the back just for me If you're at Vallarta, don't skip it. Especially if you need a little pick-me-up or it's even slightly cold outside.10/10, I'm going back for another.:

This Albertsons location sits on the corner of Saticoy and Tampa in Reseda, California. I come here…read moreto pick up all my household essentials--especially items I can't find at Costco. They offer a nice variety of produce, meats, dairy, vegetables, and just about anything else you might need. However, given that this store is in Reseda, California, theft seems to be a major issue. There are plenty of cameras in place to deter shoplifting, and security measures are clearly a priority. Customer Service & Store Ambience The staff here is really friendly--if you need anything, just ask, and they're happy to help. That said, the ambience of the store leaves something to be desired. The moment you walk in, you're met with a security gate that only opens when you're within a few feet of it. Then, when exiting, the other entrance has gates that don't open at all, forcing everyone to go through the checkout lines. On one hand, I understand this as a necessary security measure given the current economy and retail theft issues. On the other hand, it feels unsettling, especially for honest shoppers like myself--I don't appreciate being made to feel like a suspect. Uncomfortable Checkout Experience While checking out at the self-checkout, a bag of cheese slipped from my cart onto the floor. Immediately, the screen flashed with a camera view of me, as if I was being monitored for suspicious activity. A message popped up stating that an associate needed to verify my items before I could proceed. The entire experience felt weird and uncomfortable--I hadn't done anything wrong, yet I was being scrutinized as if I had. This level of security reminds me of what's happening at Target and Walmart, where many products are now locked behind glass, requiring an associate to unlock them just so customers can purchase basic items. Honestly, the way these stores handle theft is becoming excessive, and it's starting to push me away from shopping there altogether. Final Thoughts This is the society we live in now--you're assumed guilty until proven innocent, am I right? Will I shop here again? Yes. Do I appreciate being treated like a potential thief? No. I get that management is trying to address theft, but they still have some kinks to work out. Hopefully, improvements will be made in the future.

She runs the balloon center at this Ralph's location and is so helpful! You should know that not all balloons are created equal. If you want nice helium filled ones, you're going to need good quality balloons. I got some from Daiso and the Dollar Store and they just didn't look like they were going to hold up. The price for helium balloons is the same whether you buy the balloon there at Ralph's or if you bring your own. So you might as well go with the quality assured balloons they sell at Ralph's. Each basic solid colored balloon was well under $2 and Tara ties it up nicely with ribbon and an anchor, and she will arrange them for you too if you want them in a nice bunch! The big shiny Mylar balloons come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they were about $13-15 including the balloon and helium, with string and anchor. These last a while too! Ralph's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is my go to for helium filled balloons! They're all over the store. They have tons of variety and Tara is the person who runs the balloon center there and she's helpful!

Before you choose your line, just look at the person and assess whether they have their wits about them or just go straight to self checkout. this location is super special because I always encounter an issue here. once I loaded my cart with groceries..I smelled something foul. i stuck my head deep into the cart and had determined that some homeless dude urinated on it..in it. I left the cart and walked out because it was so unsettling. speaking of the homeless, I've seen shoplifting here happen with impunity YET they will be sure to card a 40 year old for alcohol and charge you for a paperbag. I also remember going to a Ralph's in the AM and I could do my shopping unobstructed because they would stock before they opened, but in a genius attempt to inconvenience everyone and probably save money, they stock during business hours so you've got people in the aisles working and stocking right when they open. If sprouts sold everything i needed, I'd keep my business there but there is no good alternative for some basics
