Came in sort of late but the staff, I always mention them first, was very pleasant & friendly. Our waitress, Kristin, was great, she was really on top of things. I've been a couple times with differing experiences. The first time was fine, food was okay, typical bar food. But the second time I went for just drinks and apps and had a less than satisfactory experience. First I ordered a beer and when I got it, by my own mistake, I didn't look at the glass before drinking about about a fourth of the way through I noticed a lipstick stain on the other side. It didn't even look like anyone attempted to wash it off so that tells me it wasn't even hit with water before they reused it. Barf. So I told the waiter and he apologized and went to get a new one. Turns out the keg ran out so I only got about half a glass full of beer. We also ordered chips and salsa and wings. The salsa was pretty bland and in short supply and I was told the wings were not very good either (I didn't have any). We left and decided we would not be returning. read more

We love this location! The food never disappoints and I really appreciate the extensive menu with vegetarian or seafood options, along with their famous chicken wings for the meat eaters - of course. Oh and the curly fries! :) They have a beautiful outdoor (screened and covered) area overlooking the St John's River. "Service animals" are welcome on the patio but if you've got regular 'ol furry kids like us, directly across the street is a beautiful park with grassy areas, benches, and a historic boardwalk on the river. read more

For a beef house there is definitely alot to be desired. Nothing standout on the menue and the main beef about this place is the omg burger.

I would really love to give this place more stars. I actually like the food. Love their shrimp wrap. Hamburgers are excellent. Prices are reasonable. It's just the service is so mediocre. And no one seems to smile. Last time I was there, (few days ago) there was plenty of help, but the bartender let bar patrons wait while she helped with tables and there were waitresses standing around doing nothing. Very little hustle, except the manager who seems to be doing a lot of serving tables instead of supervising (or training) the wait staff. Food seemed to take a while, but it was busy and the food was very good, so I'll give them a pass on that. read more

I like the food, but when i went to the new location across the riverfront after going to my nieces graduation at her elementary school we had a party of 6 and were willing to wait because Corky bells was booked out. Barely got to say how many people when the hostess told me there were no more tables, and to have a good day.. I find that customer service to be harsh. read more

This in one of the best beef's I have gone to. Food is always excellent, wait staff is always friendly, and the view is amazing! My husband and I have never been to a Beef O'Brady's and decided to try the location in Palatka, FL on Friday, February 27th. When we got there, there was one other lady seated on the bench out by the hostess stand waiting. We gave them our name and they said it shouldn't be to long because they should have some tables leaving but did not give us an estimate like every other restaurant I have every been to before. While we were waiting, they took the lady to her table and another couple came up and said that they had called ahead and then another couple came up and, when asked how many in their group, they replied 3 but go ahead and make it 5. They seated the couple that said they had called ahead before us which was okay but I had an issue when they took they other people ahead of us too just because a larger table became available first. By this time, we had already been waiting 20 minutes with no estimate on when we would be seated. Also, we saw other groups of just 2 people sitting at larger tables - we just were not allowed to be seated at one. I do not believe this was the way to handle this. We walked out and still have not eaten at a Beef O'Brady's. We were told we could see if there was space available at the bar. They could have given us this option when we walked in but didn't until we said that we were leaving. read more

Every time I go I'm disappointed. The most recent time my husband and I waited 40 mins for a grilled chicken wrap and a pre-made prime rib sandwhich. Our waiter would not even come talk to us to let us know what was taking so long. I eventually left hungry to go to work. I love the staff at Beef's. The owner even walks around asking if we have everything we need. The manager Ontario was very helpful with our group and the waitress was very nice too. I like the waterfront dining and the ability to step outside to have a smoke. read more

I rented their banquet room for Saturday afternoon, September 3, from 3:30 until 7:30, had a small gathering of about 30 friends, was expecting about 40, but tropical storm reduced attendance.I was very pleased with the management, servers, and food. The folks there went out of their way to accommodate, room was nice ( could seat about 75 nicely ), servers were very attentive. Menu was typical sports bar fare nothing fancy.Reasonably priced, I recommend using this as a meeting place for events. read more

We decided to try this location as an alternative to the other places in Palatka. Odd that it's inside an old motel and that you enter through the lobby, but the hotel lobby and restaurant was very clean. The service was quick and they sat us at a booth inside just inside the patio so we had a nice view. This is a great location on the river. The service was quick and friendly even though the waitress forgot our appetizer - she took responsibility and apologized. Our food came out fairly quickly so it wasn't a big deal. The waitress was knowledgeable about the food and attentive. Was there during happy hour, so drinks were good price - although a little weak. The food was good - regular sports bar food. We will return. It was a great alternative to Chili's or the other regular places in Palatka. read more

Food was great....service was good until time to process the bill. Took forever for waitress to bring back receipt and change and THEN.... there was 3 of us and the waitress brought the bills back but mentioned she forgot the "coins". How do you make that mistake 3 times in a row??? We didn't ask her about the coins, she made a point to tell us she had forgotten to bring them and so one of my friends said that's ok cause we figured it take another 10-15 minutes if she left our table again for the coins. I always leave at least a 15% tip but after leaving the restaurant, felt like if they were going to "keep the coins", then by all means, you are choosing the coins rather than a tip and I won't bother leaving one next time it happens. What's it going to be next time, I forgot to bring the $1.00 bills and just brought the $5 or $10's. Didn't like this and will bring it up to mgr. next time it happens and pass the word around Palatka! read more
