Wife and I we're driving home (Burnet) from San Antonio after a doctors appointment. We stopped into this nice, clean, well taken care of "hole in the wall". Kim greeted us with a smile and being first timers, explained the ordering procedure, specials and what her favorites were!! Man, the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The prices were very fair, it compared to what you pay for fast food but restaurant quality food!!! We will certainly be frequenting the place every time we drive by. I wanna try all their menu. I love this restaurant, the place, the people, the food, all above Excellent! You can call us regulars now. It's been a few years since we started coming out here from different parts of SA, Seguin and Bandera. We have a group of friends who used to work for the Air Force in various capacities and we tried to find a different Hamburger place to go to each month. Well, we've been all over SA and one of us, who recently moved to Spring Branch, mentioned we should try this place Beefy's and Boy was he right, we've been coming here almost every month since. We live 5 minutes from this place and thought we would give it a try. Upon entering the place there was one lady standing and she didn't bother to greet or acknowledge us. We waited until another lady came out and ask if we were ready to order. No, Hello Welcome to Beefy's, Nothing. We ordered our food and waited about 20 minutes for 2 burgers! My husband is a Customer Service Training Manager, we take customer service seriously. I'm giving it 3 stars because the burgers were actually good, just not good enough for us to make it a regular place to dine. And with all the new developments (homes) now would be the time to really utilize customer service. read more

Food was okay but a little pricy. Over $30 for wings, burger/fries/drink and a chicken sandwich/fries/drink. Place was totally empty. The chicken breast on the chicken sandwich was dry and in pieces, rather than being a whole "breast". The burger was moist and good and the wings were above average (but the bleu cheese was horrible - from a bottle, not chunky and very tasteless). They have a very large patio for outdoor dining with a basketball court and a play scape but the bugs will eat you (and your food) alive if you dare sit outside. read more

Worth a Stop When I'm out in Hill Country for various reasons, and am in a Burger mood, I'll head over to Beefy's. They have an awesome selection of burgers, with a great fixin's sidebar, which I always enjoy. Lots of good beer selections, your standard sides and some really good salads. The outside seating is some of the best in Hill Country, parking is plentiful and easy and the prices are right on point. I've never been here at night, but I hear the music scene is pretty good. Just your standard Hill Country eatery, if you ask me. But, if you're in the area and are needing a burger, its worth a stop. read more

25 minute drive to grab some of the juiciest burgers in town! So worth it! I can't wait to try the chicken fried steak with gravy, it looked delicious but since it is a burger joint, I can never pass up their burgers! Not the best place you can eat and not the worst. It is open on Sundays unlike most so it gathers a lunch crowd after church but they are quick to have food out. Unfortunately that means my chicken wings were not as cooked as I would have liked them. And don't go expecting a friendly waitstaff, most employees there seem a little annoyed that you've asked them for something small. read more

They have the best fried pickles this side of the Guadalupe. The salads are always crisp and cold, with delicious homemade ranch dressing. The French fries are hot and cut fresh. The juiciest chicken wings, and the chicken friend steak sandwich is top-notch. They have a great drink selection with a top shelf full bar and even a big selection of ice cream and shakes for the kiddos. I love their veggie burgers and fried pickles. The place is always clean and well-maintained. It's great for families as there is a playground outback for kids to play on. Beefys was a pleasant surprise when we walked in. It is much nicer inside than outside. The burgers were flavorful and juicy. I had avacado on mine, and they gave me more slices than most places. What keeps them from getting a 5 star rating is the young girl behind the counter who is supposed to greet you and take your order. She appeared to be bored out of her mind and could not muster a smile. We were, apparently, a burden to her when we came in. read more

We have driven by here many times on our trip from San Antonio to Weatherford. We finally decided that we would give it a try! Very friendly, in fact, we pulled up in the parking lot and before we could shut the car doors we were being waved at to COME ON IN!! Extremely friendly staff! My husband and I both ordered the Classic Cheeseburger and fries. It was the best burger we have had in a while! Tasted like a home cooked burger! And sooo many fries! I also checked in with my YELP and got the Free fried Pickles! They were amazing!!! It was clean and I loved the atmosphere. Fried green beans were different and tasty. Burgers cooked to a perfect medium.. Now for the 2 star review.. No professional customer service. The girl who didn't greet us just asked what we wanted and acted as if we were putting her out. When ordering for my child I asked for milk and she snapped her fingers at another employee and said get milk. Very rude. I'm in a gluten free diet right now for health reasons and asked for no buns, she asked if I wanted lettuce as she rolled her eyes. Restrooms are not well kept. Soap dispenser broken, they atleast have a dawn dish soap container with soap for you to dispense, not sanitary in my opinion. The sink has a water conservation spicket.. it sprays everywhere.. a warning would be nice as I sprayed water all over my white thin shirt. My husband liked his burger. I in the other hand felt the burger lacked any flavor, thank goodness for the bacon and BBQ sauce. read more

Went on a Tuesday after the lunch rush. Cashier was not very welcoming, and informed us they were out if fries. How does a burger joint run out of fries? Placed our orders and found a table. Tables hadn't been cleaned, had to move tables. Got our order and went to the condiment bar, produce was obviously not fresh. All in all a pretty poor experience. The fried mushrooms were way too salty and served with a watered down gravy. Substitute onion rings were of the frozen non edible variety. Burgers were unimpressive low quality. Really wouldn't waste my time or money going back. Can't understand why one would invest so much money into a restaurant to serve such low quality food. read more
