Wish we had more craft bottle shop & bar hybrids in Minneapolis! I was on the hunt for a specific beer and had to stop by to see if it was still around. While we didn't get what I was after, I found something else and we got to sample a barleywine I'd been wanting to taste for a while. Parking was super easy and the area is pretty quant. The sidewalk-opening bar is an awesome touch on nice days. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Gladly helped me look around, answered questions I had about local brews, and poured a couple tasters for us. The bottle selection is small but mighty which means it rotates pretty quickly. Get in quick if you've got your eye on something. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Just walking the dog downtown, getting thirsty. Thinking of having a beer.....

The staff was rude to me because I brought my dog with me. There is not a posted sign in regards to dogs or animals. I asked to have a beer outside and use the service window bar. They allowed me. I was offered a beer, and when the beer arrived it cost over $15.00, and they forced a $2.00 tip to themselves =$17.00. (For a shitty draft beer). $17.00 is what it cost for an entire15 pack of goose island IPA. And this beer store seems to think they are special enough to rip off the locals. (Im not sure if they realized that a person walking a dog is most likely someone who lives nearby....). I'm not a tourist, and don't ever want to come back, or bring anyone here. The place is not anything special. It looks like a book store inside. And when you combine the high prices with the snotty attitude, you get a failed business. It sucks. Because Elmhurst downtown has lost a few bars and restaurants lately. I was hopeful a new bar would survive. But, they just want to be another "Elmhurst Pop-Up Joint"!

Excited to see Beer on the Wall in Elmhurst! Ryan and his team always get the freshest local releases as well as distribution from all over the US. The 20-tap list means there's something for everyone and seating for groups throughout the store. Bonus cask and nitro taps too. The "buy the can" model lets you try a lot of different beers. Bartenders definitely know their way around beer, so if you don't know what you want, they're a wonderful resource. They have a big fridge selection too. Looking forward to what they have coming!

We recently tried 93 Octane and had a pretty good experience overall…read more For appetizers, we had the burnt ends, onion rings, and cheese curds. The onion rings were huge, crispy, and very tasty. The burnt ends were also good and came served over a bed of French fries, making for a hearty appetizer. The cheese curds were just okay and didn't really stand out. For dinner, I had the steak, which was just okay and didn't really impress me. We also tried the cheesesteak with jalapeños. It had good flavor, but was a little dry. The burger was good overall, although it was a bit on the salty side. The craft beers were good and definitely added to the experience. Service was also good, although the restaurant seemed particularly busy, possibly because of a large party upstairs. Overall, 93 Octane is a decent spot with some good food and drinks. The onion rings and burnt ends were probably the highlights for me, while some of the main dishes were just average.

Fine, I guess. The…read morebest thing I ate there was the 93 Bourbon BBQ Burger ($19.99) - described a 1/2lb Local Farm Raised Wagyu Beef Topped With House Made Single Barrel Bourbon BBQ, Cheddar Cheese, Candied Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Red Onion on a Brioche Bun. It's a good burger. Nothing remarkable, but it did the trick. The fries were good. Avoid the pretzel bites. $13.99 for burned and flavorless chunks. A total disaster. Similarly, skip the Pit Stop Potatoes ($13.99). The potatoes have no seasoning and the melted cheese immediately falls off when you touch it with a fork. Just a greasy mistake. I may give 93 Octane another shot, but I'd need a lunch special or something to bring the price more in line with the quality.

Their menu often changes but consistently includes pretzel bites, wings, salad, burgers, sandwiches (and a banh mi), and big plates. Pork Lumpia $14 - Tasty filling and beautifully wrapped. He was extremely kind, courteous, and attentive while keeping up with the busy tables. Really makes a difference! And the FOOD! Omg amazing. Super fresh, tasty, and homemade with very generous portions If you aren't into beer, fear not because the cocktails are SO GOOD! I had the margarita and it was delicious and strong! The prices are not bad at all considering how delicious everything was. Come here instead of going out to the overhyped and over priced commercialized restaurants in Oak Brook.. You definitely get more bang for your buck at this place. Can't wait to go back!

On this coldish Wednesday winter evening, it wasn't as busy and boisterous as our previous visits, and that was just fine for our usual catchup party of 3.  Sam was our fine and attentive server and she adequately took care of the whole dining room on this night. Arriving at 5:30pm, we took advantage of Happy Hour and had 6 beers by 6pm for $5 each.  We also had a cheese curds appetizer for $10 (discounted from regular $12). I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22.  My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18).  All were delicious.  There is now a 3% credit card fee.  Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around.
