The Re-Zombinator IPA from Beer Zombies!
    Alden C.

I had Beer Zombies once again and this time out I believe I have had one of my favorite beers to date by them. The Re-Zombinator was the name of the beer that Steve and I had. Going off of the can art it looks like it's referencing the horror cult movie Re-Animator. This beer as many Beer Zombie beers are is an IPA but what we especially liked with this one was the pine, grapefruit and fruity notes in the beer that really made the beer stand out. Of course I imagine the day we had it was especially hot and therefore it made the beer especially refreshing. Other characteristics with this beer is that it's hazy and dank, again like how many IPA'S are from Beer Zombie.

We stopped into Beer Zombies for a quick drink before going to the attached SkinnyFATS for dinner. This is one of two Beer Zombies locations that has SkinnyFATS attached to it, the other location being on Dean Martin. The tap menu here is limited to at least 9 or 10 beers, and limited to only beers from Tenaya Creek and Beer Zombies, with the latter acquiring Tenaya Creek just recently, but they have more beer selections in their to-go fridges. My boyfriend asked the bartender if we could take our beers into the SkinnyFATS dining room and she said yes. I ordered a Beer Zombies HWhip: Watermelon Ice Cream sour and my boyfriend ordered the Big Dog's Man's Best Friend stout, both in a 13oz draft glass. I am a huge light/sour beer person and I thought that my sour was pretty good. It had a hint of that sweet ice cream taste to it, which was like a mix of vanilla ice cream and watermelon sorbet. However, I couldn't really finish the whole thing because I've been dealing with bad acid reflux over the past week and I drove here. My boyfriend asked me if he could try a small sip of it and he thought it was good, too. Though he's the big stout fan out there, and though the finished the whole thing, he said that it was 'meh'. If there were more beer selections available on tap, I would've definitely tried a wider range of them.

When my husband and I saw there was a brewery named Beer Zombies, we had to go! And I'm thrilled we did! From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe and felt welcome. We were able to get seats at the bar, even though there was a small crowd of people there. The bartender was phenomenal! So friendly! Told us all about Beer Zombies, and gave us recommendations. I had to get a beer flight. I like to sample several beers when I go to a brewery I've never been to before. My husband got a full pour of is beer. Then, we each got full pour. All the beers were so tasty! What really struck me about this place is the sense of community. People brought beer in and were more than happy to share. They say the best friends are beer friends! If I lived in Vegas, I'd be a regular here!

What a cool little spot. We came in here to grab a quick beer when waiting to go to brunch at Jason James which is in the same shopping center. This location is a little hole-in-the-wall type of location with only a few seats at the bar, but it is connected to Skinny Fats, so you can grab your beer and then head over to get a bite to eat, which we saw a lot of people doing. The bartender greeted us as soon as we walked in and was chatting it up with the people that were already sitting at the bar. Already, it's such a cool vibe in here. I love the beard on the zombies (even the guy behind the bar had a beard haha). They have quite a few beers to choose from on tap, but if you want something bottled and canned from their fridge, they have that, too. You can even put together your own 6 pack, which is pretty cool. Love that they are locally brewed here in Vegas. Because of that, I had to try one of their own, even though they do offer beers from other breweries, which is pretty awesome. I got the Beer Zombies Boomstick Blonde. It was really refreshing and light and very tasty! I would definitely order that again if I saw it out and about on a menu somewhere or if I saw it at the store. Definitely recommend checking out this cool spot and trying their beers. I had seen them everywhere and was so glad I finally got to try one in their own "home."

A friend and I came across this place while shopping in Summerlin. Looked super cool from the outside, had to check it out. The bar is pretty small, not much space between seats. The concept is super cool, stickers everywhere, very industrial. They really followed through with the zombie theme, between taps and decor. However from the minute we sat down, the vibes from the bartender were off. We witnessed him being far more friendly with other customers. He handed us a food menu. We looked it front & back searching for the beer menu, and asked if he had one. His response was "we have beer and wine" in a condescending tone as if we didn't know we were at a bar. BTW: the ONLY beer menu is on a TV that flips between screens every 10 seconds (which we had to find for ourselves since the bartender didn't feel like pointing it out). He was definitely in a rush to get our order, so for the last beer we chose in our flight, we picked something at random. Honestly, neither of us liked half of them, but we were just there for the experience anyway. But given the lack of good customer service, it wasn't worth it. Cool bar and all but heavy on the Portlandia egotistical hipster vibes.

Pfriem Peche' lambic. Lightly sour and effervescent. Great

If this is the zombie apocalypse we've been waiting for, I'm ready for the world to end. This tiny space is adjacent to SkinnyFats and serves up some excellent local (and not local) choices on tap. You buy your beer here and your food next door- or if your lucky, saddle up up to one of the very few barstools for some good conversation and beer talk with your beertender and patrons. The draft selections aren't expansive, but well curated and you will likely find a good choice that suits your style preference. I had both a great lambic and sour while I was here- and of course you'll find IPAs, stouts, etc. They also have a great selection of cans and bottles. If you can't find something great you aren't trying very hard. If your a big beer fan, I really recommend using the app Untappd. You can look this place up and see what they are pouring even before you show up. It's also a great way to track the beers you've tried, or want to try.

Updating my review after coming back several times since our initial bad experience a couple years ago. I still left off a star due to how teeny tiny this place is. The majority of the time there's no space to sit or stand, so we end up drinking our beer next door at SkinnyFATS. Which is okay, but then you miss out on all the fun shenanigans happening inside the little BZ taproom. Aside from how small this space is, there are a lot of great things happening. The bartenders are usually real friendly and there to ensure everyone has a good time. They have a great selection of beer on draft and in the coolers, which cans from the cooler can be enjoyed onsite or taken home. I also love that they allow you to bring in outside beer and charge a very small corkage fee. It's a fun way to share bottles with current and new friends! We live approximately 20 minutes away, but it's well worth the drive!

For what it lacks in size it makes up for in selection, probably the best selection of craft beer on tap and in cans. The taps are constantly rotated so there's usually a new beer on almost every day. The beer tenders are very knowledgeable about the beers they offer and can suggest ones based on the styles that you like. I'm usually in here at least once a week!

I went here specifically for the beer that was brewed in partnership with the band Bayside. I was worried about it being more of a promotional stunt and that the beer might be subpar - I was happily proven wrong! A fantastic beer with a high alcohol percentage that somehow managed to still be very bright and tasty. This is clearly a place that takes quality seriously.

The experience was better than the beers, my husband says. I enjoyed the beer and the education from Andrew. Our guy was dropping some valuable beer world knowledge on the process of brewing and the history of IPA. Excellent service! We did a beer flight of a dark and light stout, a seltzer, 2 IPAs, and a sour fruited. Hubby enjoyed the Romans 1:16 by Kings. I particularly enjoyed the seltzer - grapefruit, very light, bubbly, refreshing, and delightful. I also enjoyed the sour fruited Rainbow Sherbert brewed by Prairie Artisan Ales! Anyhow, super enjoyed this spot and will be coming again.

A Beer Zombie Good pick and great pic!

Came here to pick up a couple beers before a friends pool party. Although I didn't stick around to enjoy any of the beers, this review is for pick up, take out and service. The variety of beers were fun and not really the typical beers you would find and your local grocery store. I probably would've stayed a bit longer to pick up a few more things but was already late to the party so created a little mix and match 6 pack and called it a day. Atmosphere seemed pretty cool and chill, everyone seemed either friendly or like they knew each other and everyone seemed to just be enjoying some good craft beer here. I didn't get any photos of the fridge or the actual space, but I did get this pretty sweet photo with a Montucky Cold snack, not just cute to look at but a pretty darn good beer!

Ask the Community - Beer Zombies Bottle Shop

Outdoor seating ? and are you dog friendly?

Is this a non-smoking location? Hoping so as it'd be nice to enjoy a beer with the hubby without the smell :)

You can go outside and smoke, but it's an extremely quaint space with a restaurant next door. Even if they did allow smoking I would say that it's definitely not the place for it.
