I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Michael at the West Flamingo store. I had stopped in to get a bottle of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. The Sardinian Citrus is my favorite. In our short conversation, Michael mentioned that they had a gin tasting yesterday. Although, he is not a gin drinker, he was very impressed, and even liked Avayuki Japanese Gin. Went to the Lake Mead store around 4:00 PM. I had to stand there for about 5 minutes while the cashier talked to her friend. I had to wait while her friend had to pick out what he wanted out of the cooler in the front of the register. She could care less that I was waiting to be taken care of. Just left Lee's. Been coming here over 10 years. Had the most unpleasant interaction with a female cashier wearing glasses. She was so rude and nasty. I asked if the spiked lemonades are on sale and she gives me a dirty look and says "I don't know." I asked can we check bc I thought the sign said 2 for 5z she said again, "I don't know." So I said can I can go back there and take a picture? So she comes with me and turns out it was the white claw. My bad. Rolls her eyes at me. Then another lady told her thank you and she darted that lady a look and said nothing back. I've shopped at Lee's stores around the valley for well over two decades. I can typically find what I'm looking for every shopping experience. If I cannot find what I'm looking for I ask and either an employee can find it for me, or they check their inventory [on a computer] and provide the status of that item (ex. not available, currently available at a different Lee's location). The cashiers typically forget to ask me if I'm a rewards member, thus I forget about it as well. This location is next door to an EggWorks (making it convenient since I'm there regularly). read more

Grabbed a few cases of beer for their "Build a Pack" deal but when I got to the register, I was told that since it's a new month, the 6packs I chose are no longer on sale. They wouldn't honor the prices that was advertised by the product. Ok, no big deal. But when I said "you should take that sign down", the cashier said "that's not my job". I've done business with Lees for many years. After my last experience... I'll never do business with them ever again. I had called ahead and ordered a keg. The day of my 40th Birthday party, I went to pick it up, and their machine claimed my Debit card was declined. I went to the bank, and as I knew, I had plenty of money! I took out the cash and went back, only to be told my cash was not good for a deposit... I had two managers standing in front of me scratching their heads like a couple of baboons! I advised them that the problem was in their system.... They still refused to accept my cash because a letter from corporate... I tried running my card for the deposit, and got declined again... The 2 baboon managers still refused to override the stupid option... So, I took my money to the supermarket and bought canned beer. The next day, I went to buy groceries my card was declined again.... I went to the ATM and got a message to call customer service.... All the charges had actually gone through, although their machine said Declined... I had to explain what happened, and those charges were reversed! Not only did they make me look and feel stupid, but they also refused to help me... If this is the Service Corporate Supports... I'll never do business with Lees ever again. read more

Yeah they may have a great selection but be careful as they will double charge you and you'll have to fight with them for 2 weeks to get your refund when they double charge you. Had to go visit the store twice questioning where my refund was, and last time by phone until something finally happened. Still waiting on the refund after 2 weeks nearly. George was no help who claims he's the manager. And then he says that there was a mix-up on corporate end how lame to blame somebody who you can't talk to. Lee's is suppose to be The Place in Vegas to get your alcohol. I've also heard that if you can't find your beverage here then you're not gonna find it anywhere. With all those accolades, I had to check this place for myself. I went here on New Year's Eve and Stella called it a drunkard's dream department store. I have to agree. First, any place that carries Hangar One Vodka gets much love from yours truly. Then when I found Kona Brewery's Pipeline Porter, I was won over. So I have to admit Lee's carries a wide selection of brew, wine, and spirits. Although, I would've been completely impressed if they carried St. George Whiskey. I really don't know much about alcohol, but I do like this Lee's location for several reasons. 1. They really do have the lowest prices! They have better prices than Walmart, even for the cheaper beers. 2. Clean, nice, organized, and big store. I have been to other locations, but this one is the best! The store is spacious and everything is stocked up well. 3. Friendly employees. At least one employee will approach you and ask if you need help. 4. Convenience. No lines, and I can get in and out quickly. Unlike Walmart, you don't need to wait one hour to check out. Parking is never a problem as well. Simple as that. Every single time we fly to Vegas, we always make sure we make a stop at Lee's for our party rock liquor! lol! I swear this is the biggest liquor store i have ever stepped in & they even have tasters too! Came here looking for a limited edition bottle of jack. I've been to every lees in town looking for it. The last store I went to recommend that I went to this location as it is their warehouse store and would have more stock. After looking around my self and waiting for someone to help me, I ended up finding someone to help me. Before I was even done explaining what I was looking for specifically, he cut me off and said, "oh no, we don't have that." After informing him, sadly, this was a Lee's exclusive, he asked another employee who said they did in fact have it but didn't know where it was. This other, semi helpful employee, told the original "help" to me to find the assistant manager because he would know where it was. He then went missing for about 10 minutes and came back out and told me the assistant manager said they didn't have it. As I am walking out, I overhear the other employee asked the guy helping me if the assistant manager was able to find the bottle I was looking for, then I heard the guy say, "oh I can't find him." So original employee straight lied to me. He could have just said he couldn't find the assistant manager at that time or hang tight while he finds him or something, but decided to lie instead. I've been here before to pick up weekly rations. Today, I went in to buy some pinot noir and was pleasantly surprised to find a free wine tasting that takes place at this location Thurs-Sat from 12-6PM. The lady behind the counter, Kiki, was super friendly and I honestly felt like I was a bar enjoying a (free) cocktail or three. This is where I found Crabbies, a delicious ginger beer I had previously at a beer fest, so I was super happy to rediscover this little gem! I also ended up getting some pinot noir. As I wandered around aimlessly, one staff member was kind enough to notice I was a bit lost and offered assistance and a recommendation for wine based on my preferences and price range. Liquor stores cashiers in general, are rude, not courteous at all, but this Lee's location takes the cake especially the "red purple" haired cashier female. I go there (used to now) because it's 2.5 miles away ... and forget about "beating" the competition. They don't. Their prices are way higher than TW's. They "match" not "beat", as advertised on their maxi banner, only if you tell them that someone else has the item cheaper, (which they have to check before "matching" not "beating", which means that they have no clue of competition's pricing or are counting on you not to point that out), otherwise, you pay full price. So much about having that "beating the competition" banner ...lol.... starting today, I'll drive 5 more miles to TW which by the way, no one beats. read more

Went there because they had a hard to get liquor as a gift. While I was directed to aisle 12, that really didn't help as the hodgepodge of bottles I needed to ask for additional help. After the help had to ask for help, the bottle was found. While I was there, decided to look at single malt scotch inventory. Walked down the line, passed a hand truck & then, "You know, we don't just let anyone behind the register". First of all, I was no where near the register. There was no chain across the area or any other impediment to look at the scotches. So, Total Wine was right across the parking lot where I bought $200 worth of scotch. They literally have almost everything you would want or need, at a very discounted price indeed! Some of the prices were almost comparable to Costco. Matthew Christensen - For those of you that may not know, this is the name of the kind man that was murdered. I told myself I would not go there after he was shot. I went back a few weeks after he was shot. It was late at night and I decided to just go. There was an older man just standing outside right in front of the door. The man was Mr. Lee. If he could hang out there late at night, so can I. I respect the employees that stayed and those that applied after the fact and currently work there now. I will continue to go here. Lee's Discount Liquor, is REALLY discounted! When it comes to partying like a rock star, I say, grab your drinks from here! I recently purchased a medium sized bottle of hennessy, patron, 6 pack of smirnoff, and back for another, instead with a 12 pack of smirnoff for almost 85 dollars... "that's what I'm talking about ;D" As for customer service, I was lost coming into this place on my own for the very first time at this location but a kind gentlemen who was giving samples of patron shots, guided my way to my bottle of patron and hennessy. And for the ladies at the house, I suggested bottles of smirnoff that the cashier then pointed out the direction to it's location as he kindly holds my stuff at the cash-wrap. He also asked if he can join the party, I was like "sure, when do you get off!" Haha, but we both knew he was just trying to make me laugh and he was closing anyways... He recommended some good German wines to me and later kindly explained the process that Yuengling would have to go through to get their beer in Las Vegas. Best explanation by far. The cashiers didn't seem nearly as enthusiastic, but that's an observation, not a complaint. I picked two wines (they carry about five versions of Riunite! This Liquor store is great! I was in there the other day and the store manager, Tom was the best. He pointed out some of the newst micro brews they got in along with their seasonals. We started talking and this guy knows his stuff from his liquor's to his wine's. He helped me picking out some good reds and a bottle of Scotch too. I realized I don't patronize this franchise enough. I'm a beer snob and prefer my beer on tap but every beer drinker has to have an emergency case or two in his apartment and or beer fridge. I always find good micro brews in 6 packs that are decently priced and if you don't like them you aren't stuck drinking them for the rest of the week or regretting the cost. Its fun to be adventurous but be smart some things just shouldn't be mixed with beer. I was asked to bring home a bottle of Champagne on my last visit and having no freaking clue I approached one of the clerks; told them what I wanted and what i thought the GF liked in her drinks and she picked out a moderately priced bottle.
