New cafe in Buena Park with lots of seating inside. Their tangerine matcha has tangerine puree and tangerine cream. I got it without the puree, and the drink was sufficiently sweet with the cream top. If you like sweeter matchas, I'd recommend keeping the puree as the matcha is unsweetened. A couple things to note: compared to the promo photos, you get a lot less cream top. It didn't even cover the top; it was more like a drizzle in the center. Also, they charge sales tax/credit card fee on the drink, so the menu price was $7.50 total ended up being something like $8.20.

The staff and vibe is as relaxing as the wall experience lol. Get the scones!!! Blueberry was delicious and fun fact someone here had a mom that makes them! Delicious and the presentation was a level up! As I do, I asked for the person at the counters favorites coffee drink made the way they like it best. Delicious!!!! Boat Latte did not disappoint! Will come back again and try another scone and another of their beautifully crafted coffees.

Service was nice, interior is cute, coffee drinks were tasty. It was a little hard to find, tucked away in warehouses, there's a small plaza with a Jimmy John's sandwich shop. The coffee shop is right next to the hair salon. There were a lot of people on their computers, working/studying on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the Jeju tangerine espresso tonic. It's carbonated and refreshing. I haven't had anything like it. I would get it again. I also ordered the Biscoff latte at 50% sweetness, and that was good too. I haven't tried any of their pastries, but it was cute to try out this shop!

My new favorite coffee shop! The interiors and ambiance of this place is so welcoming. They also have giant uno cards, Jenga, and other games you play while you wait. I love their huge projector screen. So peaceful. The scones are amazing as well. I also love their honey oat coffee. Even better with lactose free alternatives.

Such a cool spot! My partner and I stopped by after a run nearby because we wanted to try somewhere new, and I'm so glad we did. Parking was quick and easy, and the café itself has a really inviting atmosphere. There's plenty of seating, and one entire wall is covered by a massive TV that was playing the World Cup while we were there, which made it a fun place to sit and hang out. For reference, we visited around 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, so it wasn't very busy. The service was great. The employees were friendly, made conversation while we ordered, and even brought our drinks over to our table after we got distracted watching the game. It was a small gesture, but one that made the experience feel a little more personal. They even said goodbye from a distance after we left. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte, and my partner got a Vanilla Latte with cold foam. Both drinks were smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful without being overly sweet. Personally, I would've liked a slightly stronger espresso flavor, but that's just my preference. I could definitely always just ask for an extra shot! Overall, they were both really enjoyable. This is definitely somewhere I'd come back to, not just for the coffee, but for the atmosphere. It's the kind of place that's easy to spend a while in, and I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu.

My sister recommended Before n After and we love a good matcha, so we definitely had to try! We ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Matcha & the Boat Latte. Both were so good and definitely recommend. They did have some food/snack items, we didn't try but would love to come back and order. They had seating inside which seems like such a cool place to study or hang out with friends. Stopped by Before & After Coffee Shop recently, and the first thing that caught my attention was the name. It's such a cute concept, and thankfully the coffee shop itself lives up to it. The café is located in a larger plaza surrounded by several other businesses, making it easy to find. There's plenty of parking available, which is always a plus. The only thing I'd note is that the parking lot has a lot of turns and connecting sections that lead to additional businesses deeper into the complex. It can feel a little narrow in certain spots, and traffic tends to keep moving, so just be mindful of other cars while navigating through the lot. Once inside, the space felt bright, clean, and welcoming. The menu was easy to read and not overwhelming, which I appreciated. There was plenty of seating available, making it a comfortable spot whether you're meeting a friend, catching up on work, or just enjoying a drink. I originally came in for two drinks that immediately caught my attention: the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Matcha and the Biscoff Cookie Latte. I ended up purchasing both, but since the Biscoff latte wasn't for me, I'll save my thoughts on that drink for a future visit after I've had the chance to try it myself. For this visit, I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Matcha, and the presentation was adorable. They topped the drink with actual Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal pieces resting on the foam, which immediately made me smile, because Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal was a childhood favorite of mine. As for the flavor, it's important to know what you're ordering. If you're looking for a traditional matcha experience where the earthy notes and quality of the matcha are the star of the show, this probably isn't the drink for you. Once mixed, the dominant flavors are cinnamon, sweet cereal milk, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Personally, I thought it was delicious, but it drinks more like a fun dessert-inspired specialty beverage than a classic matcha. If you have a sweet tooth, enjoy creative drinks, or just want something nostalgic and different, I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try. The café also has a large screen mounted on one wall, and during my visit it wasn't loud or distracting at all. It actually felt like a nice place to study, work, or have a conversation. I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like later in the day, especially if sports or other events are being shown, but during my visit it was relaxed and comfortable. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back. Between the Biscoff Cookie Latte and several coffee options that caught my eye, I already have a reason to return. If you're looking for a cute coffee shop with plenty of seating, easy parking, and creative specialty drinks, Before & After Coffee Shop is worth checking out.

Loving this cafe~ The ambiance is super cozy and laid-back--we had the best time just chillin'. I totally loved the mirror inside that looks amazing reflecting the sunset. My niece was craving matcha and it was good. Would've been cool to see a few more matcha options on the menu though. I'm definitely trying that strawberry latte next time. We also had a blast playing some fun games while we were there. It was great family chill time. Oh, and the service was friendly, there's a restroom inside, plus plenty of parking, which is super convenient. Solid 4 for the matcha and a solid 5 for the vibe!

Chill Korean cafe vibes in La Palma. Went for an after dinner dessert. Parking was plentiful in the large plaza. Ordered the strawberry latte and an earl grey scone, and also had a taste of the Korean rice latte. The strawberry latte was pretty good, I think could have used some fresh strawberries along with less preserves, as it was a little too sweet - but didn't mind it overall. The Korean rice latte was also a little on the sweeter side also. The scone was a bit too dry for my liking - so may pass on that next time around. Overall - the vibe is pretty good with the large screen (though wonder how hot it would get in the summer time) - might switch up the scone for a cookie next time though.

Before N After Coffee is such a hidden gem tucked into a large strip mall right off the 91 freeway with super easy parking. The space is small but mighty with tons of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends, work, or just relax with a coffee. Owner Kyle was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better! The lattes were delicious, the bagels were fresh, and the homemade cream cheese spreads are an absolute must-try. Highly recommend the Boat Latte a creamy Biscoff oat milk latte with the perfect amount of sweetness. Seriously one of the creamiest and most delicious coffees I've had in a long time! Cannot wait to come back!!

Loved the drinks we got! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte and Biscoff latte were very flavorful. Throughout the entire drink the flavor held, didn't just taste like milk and a splash of flavor like other coffee places. It was well balanced and will definitely come back to try more!

needed a change of scenery to get some work done so i checked out BNA Cafe last week. I ordered the jeju tangerine matcha latte and it was really good, refreshing and not too sweet. I also grabbed a bagel with cream cheese to snack on while working. The projection walls throughout the cafe were such a cool touch and lowkey reminded me of soarin' at disney ! the space was clean, not overcrowded, and the staff were all really nice too.

We visited 1/4/26 and everything was very good but we found a hair that went through our blueberry scones. Seems like it was in the mix and got baked into it. CA food service employees are required to restrain/cover long hair and we noticed one employee with their hair down. This is a great up and coming coffee shop so would love to see an improvement with this. Besides that, the drinks were great! the scone tasted great as well (minus the hair of course) so we'd definitely recommend to our friends and family. Place is pretty good if you're into speciality type drinks such as lattes. I don't think they do pour overs from what I recalled. Staff are cool and welcoming. Got the Boat Latte to drink which was their version of a biscoff latte and it was very good! Split an order of the Kaymak with my girlfriend and it was delicious! Creamy and sweet with 5 slices of toasted bread. Studied here for about 1.5 hours and it was fun. Service was very friendly and they have a large LED screen wall that serves as a cool feature point. This cafe is absolutely amazing! The ambiance is extremely picturesque and aesthetically pleasing!!! I never thought cinnamon and matcha could pair well with each other, but their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Matcha Latte blew me away! I'm not particularly keen on extremely sweet things, but their drinks and pastries retain such a perfect balance! My family and I were so engrossed in the food, it completely slipped our mind to take pictures, hahah! New cafe alert! I love how cute and intentional every aspect of this cafe is, even down to naming every one of their beta fish. The drinks are SOOOO good. I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch matcha and the matcha texture was so creamy and good. The baked goods are made in house and it's so good and fresh and yummy. I'm obsessed. Also the service is great, the owner, Kyle, is super nice and went through explaining the whole menu to me. He was willing to do any adjustments me and my friend asked for and was so helpful through the whole process. The cafe itself is super cute. I love the seating and how aesthetic everything is. I'm not sure if he's the owner, manager or maybe just one of the crews there. There's this young man who greeted me with the biggest smile on his face as soon as I opened the door. He was very nice and kind the whole time I was there. I tried their biscoff latte and it was actually pretty good maybe Ill try different one next time. They also have pretty interesting display on the wall. Theres this huge screen that covers whole wall and I've never seen anything like that at a coffee shop. Lol Ill definitely come back! read more

I came to this coffee shop right after my Lagree class and I was curious since it had such great reviews. My eye was immediately drawn to the boat latte. And OMG. Delicious! It is pricey..$7! But it's delicious! Very fast and the place was surprising! The giant wall screen was really surprising but it had a cozy vibe. I recommend the place and I only put 4 cause of the price but that's just the world now lol read more

Brown Sugar Tiger Milk Tea w/ Boba I got this drink as a test for the cafe and used it to compare their brown sugar tiger milk tea to other places. To me, this showed the audience that BnA is targeting. It is that sixteen to twenty four age group who say they like coffee but never order an americano. The same audience who would drive all the way to Brea just for a strawberry matcha latte. It's sweet but that's it. You're not drinking it for the tiger milk tea, you're drinking it for the sweetness. CTC (Cinnamon Toast Crunch) Matcha Probably my favorite drink. Think a horchata mixed with a matcha. I had such an amazing experience at Before & After Coffee in La Palma! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the friendliest staff and owners. Everyone was so kind, warm, and genuinely happy to help, which made us feel right at home. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful inside, stylish, inviting, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great drink. I ordered the Specialty Bischoff Cold Foam Iced Latte, and it was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I've had in a long time. My daughter ordered the Ube Matcha Latte, and she loved it! We also tried the ube dessert and the melted cookie, and both were absolutely delicious. Even though the shop was busy, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's clear that people are already discovering what a gem this place is. They create a nice environment to be at and make.it fun by hosting all events like movie nights (which they use a whole wall as a screen). Plus, my friends own this and have been trying work at building this pretty much from the ground up. What made it special was the large, wall-to-wall screen projecting a beautiful rainy-day landscape. Customer service wasn't bad, I just ordered our drinks, they came out promptly and went on my way. Not really any seating inside, so it's definitely more of a take-out coffee spot, although I do like the modern wood interior vibe it has. On to the coffee, we ordered the honey oat latte and the Spanish latte. Really enjoyed the honey oat latte as it wasn't too sweet (not a fan of sweet lattes) and the coffee taste was definitely there but somewhat on the subtle side. Spanish latte was too sweet for my own liking, but if sweet lattes are your thing, I could see why this is a bestseller. All in all, not a bad spot to get coffee, but wouldn't go out of my way unless I'm in the area.

I tried the Banana Bread Latte off of their seasonal menu, and my partner opted for a black sesame latte. As far as lattes go it was pretty solid! The coffee had a great taste, and my banana bread latte perfectly balanced the cinnamon and banana flavor. The black sesame latte also had a great flavor as well. I can't speak to much else of their menu, but they have a wide range of options from matcha, to other non espresso options. The service was quick, and the baristas were friendly enough. I would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family, and in an area with a lot of coffee options, it stood out for us.
