She cashier helped me with finding a drink that was sugar free and tasty. Did she deliver! It is a simple sugar free iced latte but it has that something extra special. The cafe can seat about 42 people total, on their left side of the cafe are 3 tables set up for 4 people each with electrical outlets to attach your laptops. The middle cafe is set up for a couple or a group of 4, whichever you choose. There was plenty of free parking and it was easily accessible from Orangethorpe and or the 91 freeway. Upon entering, the LED screen is what gets your attention and was showing a snowy scene that helped with the ambience and created a sense of coziness with this cafe. I ordered the jalapeno bagel toasted with the garden veggie cream cheese spread on the side as well as an iced Biscoff latte to wash it all down. The staff were friendly and nice, we were greeted right away and they seemed very sweet, not rushed or too pushy, just right. Such a cute coffee shop that we had to try! It was all over tiktok so I did expect that it was going to be pretty busy when we came on a Sunday around 4PM. There was a line and it took us about 45 minutes from arriving to getting our drink. There's a huge LED screen playing studio ghibli clips which was super cute. Not sure if they brand themselves as a studio ghibli cafe (if so they should consider having more studio ghibli decor throughout the coffee shop as well, unless they were just playing it at that time). We loved the matcha Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I like that they added cereal on top. The matcha had a good nutty flavor and paired really well with the cinnamon. It would be nice to get the coffee without a lid first to be able to drink it with the cereal while it's still crunch, and then add the lid after otherwise the cereal gets soggy. The pear tonic was pretty good too, it's on the sour side and a pear flavor is extremely subtle (wish it stranded out more) but the concept was really unique! There's a good amount of table and seats to study and get work done as well. Parking is easy as it's located in a plaza. read more

Stopped in for a quick matcha and bathroom break , just driving through the area. What a welcoming and cute little family owned shop. I ordered a strawberry matcha and ube scone. Both are delicious! The scone was slightly warm (perfect), and just moist enough. Some scones can be dry but this was really perfect and not too sweet. My only small complaint is the milk alternatives have emulsifiers, gums and natural flavors. I hope more coffee and tea shops can switch to brands like Elmhurst who have very clean ingredients. I stopped by one morning before work to grab a quick pick-me-up and I ended up getting the Cinnamon Toast Crunch matcha (could be called something else, I forget the exact name.) While I was waiting, we looked around at the decor and noticed there were live betta fish in TINY, absolutely minuscule containers with no room to swim. They were just floating in there as decor. If you're in the coffee shop, you'll see multiple living betta fish to the right of the ordering counter in very, very small containers just to fit the cafe's "aesthetic." I was a bit hesitant on writing this review because I really don't know what the outcome for the fish will be. My hope is that the the owners do something about the bettas' poor living conditions. read more

My daughter and I visited for their official grand opening. A great location in a busy shopping center, although plenty of parking. This is family owned and operated location. The entire Bak family was on site, greeting everyone as they arrived, and serving up delicious drinks. I ordered the Aloe-Ha for myself and the Strawberry Lemonade for my daughter. We both tried eachothers, and ultimately, my daughter stole my Aloe-Ha, and I ended up with the Strawberry Lemonade. We both enjoyed both drinks, they were equally refreshing for this warm SoCal day, so it was hard to decide. We look forward to trying more of the menu in the future. They have a cute pastry case with some delicious-looking options. We had just had lunch prior to stopping in, so we didn't partake this time, but those treats are also on our list to try. The place was really clean with plenty of seating inside, and it looked like a few seats outside as well. They have a huge screenwall! Today there was a cozy winter scenery, but word on the streets is that there could be different entertainment on the screens in the future. It wasn't too sweet and the cinnamon flavor came through very nicely. They used very minimal ice as well so you get a good amount of drink! I did feel the matcha taste wasn't as strong as I personally like it, but since the drink tasted so good, I actually don't mind it.
