Beignets is a cute little shop right on the Main Street in town. Workers were friendly, interior was a little dated but had a charmy feel to it. Tried a few different donuts. They were exceptional. Warm, fresh, decadent. Each topping was better than the last. You'll be in a sugar coma if you try more than one of these donuts, in a good way. Didn't try the beignets - I'll be back for those. Stick with coffee. I got a matcha and it wasn't the best quality. They definitely know their desserts though! Delicious.

Stopped by Beignets and had a pleasant visit. The hard working staff does a fantastic job at obtaining your order and quickly presenting a well crafted beverage. This place has to do well, because it is perfectly situated on Denville's busy Broadway Avenue. Not to mention, their 4.5 star rating. During this visit, we ordered Mocha Cappuccinos and they were very good. The coffees were at the optimal temperature and every drop was thoroughly enjoyed. Beignets has a lot more to offer than just coffee. Their sweets look just as good as their coffee. However, whatever your desire, I'm sure they'll oblige and succeed at satisfying your yearnings.

First time at this cute little café. I ordered the beignets. They were warm and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside with cinnamon and sweet powdered sugar. Amazing! I will return.

All I can say is WOW!!!! I was visiting home a few months back and one of my girlfriends suggested we stop here before I left town. She said it was her favorite donut place, and I am always in favor of backing a small business. The woman working was incredibly nice and patient with us since we couldn't pick what we wanted to save our lives - there were SO many options! Everything was super fresh and made to order. Also very rich, if you eat with your eyes you will have A LOT of leftovers since they are very filling haha I got a nutella donut and a vanilla with sprinkles, basic but oh so good. They are cake donuts and literally *perfect*. I also brought home some donuts for my parents to enjoy, they were just THAT good. Next time I am home visiting we hope to make another trip to Beignets!

Kinda conflicted because for my first time eating beignets, I imagined that it would have tasted out of this world. The taste was great however the texture was off --was not crispy. The staff was busy but attentive. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, so the strip in general was bustling with folks. The donuts were not as fresh as I expected as well. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I did give them 3 stars for the taste. I'm open to giving them another try.

Best beignets I ever had. Granted the only beignets I have tried were in New Orleans at Cafe Du Monde and another small joint. Freshly fried and 3 to an order. They were light and fluffy, perfectly coated with powdered sugar. I would love to try their doughnuts in future!

Ordered: Honey Lavender Latte (~$5) 4 Beignets (~$7): 2 powdered sugar & 2 cinnamon sugar Aya's take: It's been a while since I've been to Beignets and decided to grab a delicious pastry on my way to work. The Beignets are made fresh and loaded with the sugar of your choice. I went with half powdered sugar and half cinnamon sugar for some variety. The Beignets are airy, soft, and generally not as sweet as a donut. The Honey Lavender Latte had a whole lot of honey and not enough lavender. It was smooth, sweet, and creamy but the honey was a bit overpowering. I wish I got more lavender essence than honey. I would stick to their beignets, donuts, and maybe a classic drink (rather than their flavored ones) next time. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, Beignets will do the trick!

I tried the toasted almond donut. It was good, but nowhere near as sweet and flavorful as the blueberry I tried. Still, a bad donut at this place is better than the best donut at most others. The only downside was waiting 20 minutes for three beignets.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. Fresh fried donuts made to order in a variety of predetermined flavor combinations OR you can make your own. Chocolate peanut butter, strawberry shortcake, lemon pucker, and toffee were there four we settled on and we were not disappointed. The hot, fresh donuts really shine - they would be delicious plain. They stood up well to the rich pb+chocolate and crunchy chocolate. On the other hand, the strawberry glaze was overpowered a bit by the incredible donut - which I definitely prefer that to the glaze overpowering the donut. Lemon pucker was the perfect finish to cut through the richer offerings. Coffee was great. Amazing spot for a date - order a sampling (4 is enough for two people to split without being stuffed, 6 is very doable) and chat about your favorite. read more

Once again, Clif and crew knock it out of the park. The amazing, made-to-order donuts just seem to keep getting better every time I go. This trip, the Boston Cream, the Cinnabun, and the Bacon-Caramel options did the trick, and the coffee was outstanding as well. Meeting owner Clif's lovely wife and two adorable Clif-Ettes was a nice bonus- what a beautiful little family he has! It is heartwarming to see and support a small, Main Street business in this age of multi-national conglomerates peddling cookie-cutter fare to the painfully boring, undiscerning masses. For those, like myself, that appreciate the effort, patience, heart, and soul that goes into making a successful small business, Beignets is spot on. Kudos, and please continue. read more

I have been meaning to visit for months and I am so disappointed that it took THIS long for me to visit! The beignets were pretty good but WOW the walnut fudge brownie was insane. My sister ordered it and asked for it to be heated up - which I suppose was the first time anyone had made that request - and everyone in the shop asked what it was. Melty, fudgy, gooey, and delicious. What a friendly staff! What a scrumptious menu. We will definitely be return customers. read more

HIDDEN GEM! Fresh doughnuts and beignets made to order. Love that they aren't giant sizes and that they're a little smaller than a standard donut so you don't have a sugar overload. Love the maple bacon donut and the Boston creme. They have a ton of different varieties and the staff are always ready to share their recommendations and favorites read more

Cute town, worth an afternoon out to visit Donuts are obviously super fresh, not too big so you can try several, not too heavy either. I normally eat clean, this was my weekly cheatmeal and was soooo worth it. My fav was the chocolate pnut butter followed by the toffee. I didn't see the specials until I already ordered, so will def b back to try more! Nothing beats a warm, ooey-gooey donut after a hard week of low carbs! read more

I called this place at the last minute to order 2 dozen donuts for a work event. I sent them an email around 1:30 in the afternoon and received a phone call back, even though it was AFTER HOURS! That's amazing customer service in my book! The donuts were a HUGE hit! Beautifully decorated and delicious! Thank you for bringing FRESH back to the donut world! We walked in because we were waiting for our turn at the paint your own pottery place next door. And it sure did not disappoint!!! They make your donut to order! We ended up getting a box of four. And all were DELICIOUS - s'mores, chocolate frosted, thin mint and blueberry crumble. But this place is best for its pastries. Coffee I'll still stick to Starbucks for now. It just wasn't great at all. That's why i give four stars. There just wasn't much love in the coffee as much love they put in their fresh pastries. :) We will return for the donuts!!! read more

Cute place indoor and outdoor seating and fabulous HOT donuts w toppings to choose from that do not disappoint !!! They have some special donuts as well with the regular donut menu. Parking is good as well in the heart of Denville. Definitely one of my fav places to go for a special treat! read more

First time here after searching for place with fresh donuts and I'm being conservative with four stars only because I have a personal favorite that I always compare any donut shoppes to (for the record, Back Door Donuts in MVY still my absolute go-to). Very very good and FRESH. I ordered a dozen donuts and a special with gelato topping (savored onsite by my 14yr old son) - see pic. I personally tasted the Caramel Glazed with Bacon (a popular there). Moist, cake consistency and just enough glaze and bacon bits. These delights are made to be eaten right away -- NO PROBLEM THERE! All 13 donuts made in 8 minutes! Just like they promised! A few indoor and outdoor tables. Specialty coffees available as well as cookies and cupcakes. Not as busy on a mid afternoon as I would have thought. read more

Beignets is a gem in Denville. The donuts are made fresh, along with the toppings on top of them. The staff is quite friendly and accommodating. Although you have to wait a bit for the doughnuts to come out, they're well worth it and hot when you take the first bite. I love the bacon one! read more

Donuts are my favorite thing on earth. I am a sugar fiend- I love all desserts, but donuts serve a special place in my heart. These donuts are some of the best. I personally love the size- not too big or small. Doesn't make you feel guilty eating more than one. The donuts are served hot and made for you! You can create your own which is a personal touch I love. The s'mores donut is the one I had. The chocolate is literally melting on top of the warm donut and tastes amazing. The chocolate alone was great. I would come back every day if I was close enough. Highly recommend for cakey donut lovers like myself! read more

They are fresh fried to order and the dough is moist and the beignets are pillowy and and omg the flavors-the lemon pucker is all sorts of tart and tangy goodness, strawberry fields yum! Their classic cinnamon donut is magical-you can really taste their base dough and its fabulous! Employees are super helpful, and love their cute classic vibe. Do they cater?? This is a small spot that appeases the delicious beignet cravings for those who can't make it to New Orleans or Paris. I ordered mini beignets half cinnamon sugar and half confectionary sugar. The taste was delightful. I can't attest personally to the taste of the donuts but one of my children said it was the best donut they ever had and the other ranked it at a 9-9.5. So, basically the donut was near perfection in their opinion. Eric gave superior customer service. He saw that my daughter was in a bad mood and he offered her marshmallows. Needless to say, he helped to turn her frown w upside down. He was very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone was satisfied. That's super important to mom's like myself. I plan on returning in the future and will try the cappuccino or coffee that I have been reading about. read more

Great Donuts The donuts are tasty. It's cute there and nice that a place like this is available in Denville. We ordered the Cinnabon, cannoli, birthday cake, apple crumb, Boston cream and Oreo. My personal favorite was the apple. The donuts are made to order so anticipate a bit of a wait while they are prepared, but it's a pretty quick wait. Terrible customer service. I came in with my 3 year old and ordered 6 donuts to go. There were two people working behind the counter, the lady taking the orders and the guy making the donuts. It was our first time, so we chatted nicely with the lady about the donuts, asking which are the most popular and I had ordered 5 donuts and if we get 6 donuts, is there an incentive. There is, so we opted to order 6 donuts. She wrote our order down. We waited for our donuts. Then the donuts were being served on dishes and were being sent out. The lady said, these are your 4. And I said, I'm sorry I ordered 6 and it was to go. So she had mixed up the orders. I didn't make a big deal about it. Mix ups happen. So when the guy making the donuts asked her what's going on, she said, "not my fault." Then when the guy sorted out our order, and it was time for the lady to ring us up, she had such a bad attitude. I asked her which donut was which and her whole demeanor changed and when I asked her about the pricing, she just had a bad mood about her. Not sure what happened here or why it got so complicated to order donuts. But the bad attitude was a real turn off. read more

The made to order donuts here are definitely worth stopping in for. Perfect warm fry cakes with your choice of topping, they have 10-12 different flavors. I picked toffee crunch and caramel bacon. Really good stuff. They have a nice store with seating indoors and out, it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather and people watch on a sunny day read more

Nice place used to get donuts like this in Ocean City Maryland heard about it so we stopped in however a lot of kids eating breakfast from other restaurants at the bar and using up the tables which I think is not acceptable should be for the customers eating donuts read more

The best donuts and beignets ever! My husband and I ordered donuts and beignets for our wedding last October 4th from Beignets. We were going to have a family member pick-up our order and bring to our venue early but the owner of Beignets kindly offered to bake fresh and bring them to the Mohawk house at the end of her day so it would be one less thing we had to worry about that day. Not only are their donuts amazing (maple bacon is my favorite!!) but their coffee is equally as amazing! The owner and staff at Beignets are the some of the nicest and kindest people we have ever met. We love taking our entire family there, especially after church on Sundays. Beignets was built by family and friends. So many people have contributed to help this idea come to life. Owners Helene and Clif are aunt and nephew, Peggy is a long time family friend. We wanted to bring that family feeling to our store with our customer service and inviting atmosphere.

The front of the restaurant is your typical tables and booths, and the in back is a small room for a for a more finer experience. By the walls are tables with 4 or more seats, with two-seated ones in the middle. There was a young group of servers waiting the tables and from I saw, they were doing an impeccable job. Upon sitting I was served with a basket of bread, which I tried to avoid at first in order to save my appetite. This is what I ordered: -Baked Ravioli w/Vodka Sauce: I was served with 5 large ravioli filled with what I believe to be ricotta topped with mozzarella. Since the restaurant is apparently known for its vodka sauce, I had to try it, which my server kindly accepted my request. He even gave me my own parmesan shaker to add myself. The ravioli was cooked perfectly; as you cut it, the ricotta mixed with the sauce, which was already rich and flavorful, and the mozzarella, making it extra creamy and stretchy. I did not have to add any salt or pepper to the dish, though I did a little more parmesan just for fun. After I finished the pasta, I scooped up the remaining vodka sauce with the bread from before and wiped the dish clean. -Homemade Tiramisu: This was by far the biggest slice I have had in my life. It had probably two layers of ladyfingers and mascarpone, at least half an inch thick. Though it was good, it was a bit on the heavier side for. Unlike standard tiramisus where it is dusted with coco powder, here they topped it with mini chocolate chips. I would have rather preferred the former instead, in my opinion. Regardless, I had a wonderful experience dining at Suppa's. I would highly recommend coming here taste their food! If you are looking to have a large gathering or just want dine by yourself, this a great place to visit!

I have to say, I was sad that this was only the first time I'd been here because the food and the service were outstanding. To be fair, I'm only going to review my meal and the shared appetizers because after a few glasses of wine (it's BYOB) and a couple of sips of Sambuca that I snuck in...I don't remember what everyone else had. Our very fun and friendly server, Daniella (the owner's daughter), started us off with a few baskets of homemade rolls that were absolutely delicious. Since there were 14 of us we got a bunch of appetizers to share and pass around the table. We had 2 orders of Calamari and two of the Suppa's Thinny pizzas and one each of the Stuffed mushrooms, Mussels with white sauce, and Rice balls. I don't think there was a crumb left. The stuffed mushrooms might have been the best I've had and I practically licked the sauce off the plate - some kind of cream sauce made with a touch of love. The pizza was delicious, but I do with it had been left in for about 90 more seconds as I was looking for it to be a little crispier. Otherwise the appetizers were all excellent. For my entree I ordered the Vodka chicken parm over penne. Three big chicken breasts over a good sized portion of penne and slathered in a very creamy vodka sauce. I'm a big fan of vodka sauce and this one was richer than I've had before...it was really tasty. And, because of the appetizers, I actually got two smaller portioned lunches out of this. (To be fair, I would have preferred linguini, but the chicken and sauce were the heroes of the meal so the pasta wasn't THAT important.) I finish up the meal with an espresso and a cannoli (they had run out of tiramisu). I should've gotten a double espresso because the cannoli was huge and I ran out of espresso halfway through the dessert. The cannoli shell was fresh and crispy (so it wasn't pre-filled) and less sweet than most Italian places here in the US. Reminded me of the cannoli in Rome. Not only will I be back, but I've already sent people here who have loved it. Sorry for the lack of photos...

After over 2 years this place still ROCKS. If you're looking for a tasty & fresh specialty treat, this should be your Go-To. The donuts and Beignets have not lost their luster, they just keep getting better and better. Today I had a Butterfinger donut that was to DIE FOR, and then they blew my mind with an amazingly crafted Key Lime Pie donut! Couldn't get any better than that. A great little place tucked away in Denville. They have beignets and donuts that they make to order. Only takes a few minutes. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Love the full espresso bar for hot and cold drinks. Tea lovers will the large selection of Mighty Leaf teas. Beignets is awesome. The donuts are perfect in my opinion. There a a bunch of different favorites, but they will also make pretty much anything you'd like to try. I arrived at 11 AM, just before the lunch rush. I ordered 12 donuts, and they were made to order! The donuts are delicious, but just make sure to eat them right after they're made. Otherwise, they get a little bit soggy and stale after a day. read more
