The Good: -The hummus & pita is a must have. Perfection -The chicken grill plate was very good, it all worked well together -Service was good; no notes The Slightly less than good: -tables are so close together you are practically eating with strangers (might be some people's thing!)

Everything was gorgeous the food, the staff, the restaurant, everything gorgeous. I mean that in terms of personality, the looks ,the taste, the waitstaff's knowledge was amazing. I can't wait to go back. It doesn't hurt that there's also designated parking lol

I think I found one of new favorites here in KC! Went here for a light dinner and I was really impressed with my mocktails, burrito, and the baba ghanoush. Everything was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Staff was super duper nice. Plenty of seats for everyone. Would definitely come back and try their other stuff.

Wow!! This place is amazing!! A friend of mine turned me onto Nour's, where we met for dinner before a play. The ambience here is very cool. I love the decor and the bench style seating with the rugs. He was already seated and had ordered something to drink when I arrived so I did not catch our servers name, but she was excellent. I'm a huge fan of Lebanese cuisine for over 30 years and this stuff is good! They absolutely know what they're doing and I appreciate that. The hummus here is super creamy and heavy on the tahini, which I love. It's not too heavy on the lemon or garlic like other places. I had the chicken Shawarma burrito, which was outstanding! The jalapeño sauce was magnificent. I don't care for garlic sauce, but if I did, theirs was good. My friend had a lamb and rice with mint sauce and he enjoyed it very much. I had one bite of the excellent and tender lamb. Nour's sits right in front of the 39th St. Apartments that were converted from a school. It's up on the parking deck. Kind of hard to find but stick with it. The payoff is worth it.

Phenomenal food! Such a unique, fun atmosphere. Great service. Lots of fun cocktails and mocktails including a seasonal rotation. We tried a little bit of everything including the hummus, baked feta, chicken shawarma burrito, and Laban emmo (slow cooked lamb with yogurt sauce and vermicelli rice). All of it was seasoned to perfection! We look forward to returning to try more of their dishes!

Grabbed brunch with a friend at Nour's and LOVED everything! The inside is funky and colorful. We had a reservation, but did not need it for an early brunch. It got busier as we were getting ready to leave. Our drinks were bright and refreshing. The food was amazing. The hummus was perfectly creamy. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I got a gift card for my brother for Christmas to Nour's and since we were going to be on the plaza for a candlelight concert, we thought we'd make a full date night out of it at Nour's. First impression - we were a bit surprised. We're so used to doing order at the counter places with Lebanese food in Kansas City so it was a nice change to have a more refined seated restaurant experience. We did have reservations, which we needed, at 7:15 PM on a Friday. We were seated right away and given water. And then the service went down a little bit. The bus and hostess came by probably eight or so minutes after we sat down to see if we want any water and if she could grab us any appetizers. I got Coke and my fiancé got a hot tea. It was really cold in there. Something was going on with the HVAC unit with it being so warm outside. We ordered the muhummara to try something different. That came out relatively quickly with our drinks. It was tasty, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I was trying to be adventurous, but I didn't like it as much as I like a hummus or baba ghanoush. But then we waited. We had almost finished our dip when our actual waitress finally showed up around 25 minutes after we were seated. She asked how we were doing and I said OK and she started to leave the table and my fiancé stopped to say hey we're actually ready to order dinner. I thought she was finally greeting us, but apparently she was going to take our order. Anyway, I got the zaatar milanese with fries and he got the chicken Shawarma burrito. That also came out quickly. Both were good, but I ultimately preferred his burrito. The sandwich was just a little messy and I should've been more adventurous. Again, we waited a little bit for somebody clear dishes and I did ask about dessert and I said we'll just try all your Turkish delights, cause it's one of my fiancé's favorite things, and she's like oh well we have 13 flavors at which point she didn't say what flavors they had, she just said I can bring you four of my favorites. I said ok. That took her a while to do and so when she brought the dessert, I ended up giving her the gift card for dinner and she went away again for a while. When she came back, she said technically you weren't supposed to use that gift card in store, only online, which I thought was wild, but she forced it through. At this point, we need to hoof it because I'd given us an hour and a half for dinner thinking that would be more than enough time considering the fact that our meal was pretty straightforward. And while food came out really quickly, the service just wasn't where it needed to be. She was sweet and added a macaron to our dessert plate to say thank you for our patience with how slow it was, but it seemed everyone else around us was getting very good service so I don't know what happened. All in all, I would certainly go back, but don't have it before a planned event because you may end up having to run out of there because it takes so long.

Decent restaurant. Worth a visit. Service was very personable. Mocktails were also nice.

    BAKED FETA

Food was great, mocktails were awesome also. Love a curated mocktail without the silly zero-proof alcohol & crazy prices! The appetizer Trio (not on the menu) was a great move! The baklava pieces were tiny for the price though.. & the saffron pistachio ice cream was a must! Service was sweet & attentive, our table was tiny and she kept forgetting to clear it before she brought more stuff - but we made it work! & the restaurant was chill with good lighting! We got sat next to a glass garage door while it was raining, it was cute!

What a nice treat to find. A Lebanese restaurant with so many great options it's hard just to choose one, or a few. We started with the baba ghanoush and lentil soup. For our mains we had the steak kebab, the falafel wrap, and the laban emmo. Everything was so flavorful and vibrant! Great space inside too. Will definitely come back for more!

Loved trying this new restaurant yesterday! I sat on the patio and the server was so friendly. He brought me a lemonade on the house while I waited for my friend. The patio was so spacious and nice, but we ended up moving inside after a bit. The drinks were refreshing but not very strong. I had a margarita and my friend tried a cocktail as well. We also had the hummus and pita, which was very yummy. I want to come back to try more food soon but I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the menu looked very intriguing.

Twilight zone ah restaurant…read more The summer evening's gentle humidity greeted me as I woke up from a strange dream. I recall a long room. Tables set. A menu hanging by a thread, the crease counting on one hand how many openings it has left. What is that desolate counter doing there? And those Wayfair basket shelves? Sure, I'll get the Greek Platter. A tasty entree no doubt but an unholy matrimony: the saddest pita bread you'll meet. At no fault to Kinzi, cyclospora weighed heavy on me this meal. Just thought you should know. Soon I'm in the hallway. Washing your hands is righteous, right? Where am I? Laboratory light seems to come from nowhere. Dove white dry paint on the floor and the door. And the handle. Get me out of here. As I descend the steps of purgatory, a siren calls: "Hi! You are currently being recorded!" Motion detectors. But where? And what are we protecting? The patrons from themselves? I'm back, but not for long. This entire time I endured the music. The flat screen does no justice to these poor bare bellied women, forced to dance for eternity, only punctuated by YouTube ads. Then, suddenly, there's an incessant beeping. For a few minutes it won't go away. Then, "Hi! You are currently being recorded!" followed by the cutely sinister chimes. Oh, it's the ice box. He rips something out of the bottom and the beeps dissipate. The kind man approaches. "Hi! You are currently being recorded!" What? Oh! The plates, yes, and the check, yes. "Save Ferris," his shirt reads. Is that who we're guarding? As he walks back, "Hi! You are currently being recorded!" *jingle lingle ling* Time to go. The motion detector once again clocks me as I exit. Everyone should dare to dream. For now, I must wake up.

The restaurant appeared to be severely understaffed, our server was also cooking, and it seemed like only one person was running the entire place. Because of that, service and cleanliness suffered a bit, and the tables and menus felt slightly sticky. I'd probably recommend takeout over dining in, but I also got the sense that this was more of a staffing issue than a lack of effort.

They rotate out some of their plates periodically, keeping the menu fresh and new, while also keeping the classics that I love. My absolute favorite dish that I get every time is the grilled ricotta and bread as an appetizer. The ricotta is perfectly light and the bread is charred to perfection, I highly recommend it. We didn't have reservations and were dressed casually. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated in what was referred to as the "other dining room," down a dark hallway into a musty, warm, and humid space. Service was prompt and courteous, but the food was very disappointing. We were served a cucumber salad that oddly tasted like peanuts, followed by six completely flavorless meatballs--no seasoning at all, not even salt. The prices might be reasonable if the quality matched expectations, but it didn't. The contrast between the main dining room and the "other room" also felt stark and uncomfortable, as if it were a second-tier seating area. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on this experience.
