I LOVE the pool here, it is such a nice getaway for locals. The food is a hit or miss (pass on the tenders). We have rented cabanas and I recall the sushi being delicious!!! We came here to see Jackson Dean and it was a super cool venue. The pool was beautiful! Lots of places to sit. The stage was just the right size and it was not too crowded. Clean bathrooms and fast service at the bars. Security was also easy and efficient. Free parking too! A Dj is there during the weekends as well, so good music is always playing while soaking up the sun! Upon arrival I'm always greeted so pleasantly by the front staff and the securities. And their assistants were super fast in picking up our empty dishes when we were done eating. I've been to a few pools here in Vegas where the servers rarely check to see how I'm doing. There was a small hiccup with one of the workers misdirecting us and a few other people into the attached lounge, we had to turn around and make our way back to the pool entrance. Beautiful poolside setting, intimate performance area. Getting a drink was pretty quick and easy, bartenders made same drink 2 different ways and charged more for what we consider cheap liquor, so watch what they are doing! Went and saw J Boog, wasn't notified prior to the event they weren't allowing vapes. Assuming it was to try to curb the weed smoking. Why book a reggae artist on 4/20 then? Had to throw out a $25 tobacco vape. Would have left it in the car if it had been published anywhere prior to showing up at the venue. That set the tone, now let's talk about drinks. They have two bars. That's it for a sold out concert. No satellite bars set up. We got one round. Wasn't worth waiting through that nonsense to try and get another round. My buddy, who's a Vegas local, took me and several friends down here on Memorial Day Sunday to actually relax from the hectic previous couple days of night and day clubbing on The Strip. Located behind the Durango Casino & Resort on South Durango Drive south of Clark Country Road 215, Bel-Aire Backyard is a cabana-lined pool and even sports an outdoor casino! We got ourselves a cabana, and it was much nicer than the other two we got on The Strip. Very spacious and breezy, which was great since the weather was really starting to heat up. Service was good, if not a bit slow. Took quite a while to get our orders in once the food (sushi boat) arrived. We got the requisite large bottle of vodka and mixers, though several of us ordered our own drinks whenever a server would pop in. The nice thing was that there was music, but it wasn't thumping my eardrums out. ;-) We all had a very relaxing afternoon here and I definitely look forward to visiting this place again. read more

This venue is definitely one of my favorite local pool spots in Vegas! Way less chaotic than the strip, but still has an elevated, aesthetic vibe and great service. Super clean, plenty of space, enough shaded areas and you're not fighting for chairs which is honestly the biggest win. The crowd is more locals than tourists, it feels relaxed but still cute and social. Drinks and food were served quick and the staff was super attentive. The music was on point but not blasting, so you can talk and enjoy the day. It's one of those spots you can easily spend the whole afternoon at. Tan, swim, order a few drinks, and just enjoy. Decided to do a pool day. We happened to show up on a day where they were not charging cover. We tried to rent a daybed online but their system kept giving an error message online. Service was fast. We ordered sparkling waters, green goddess sushi roll, vegan burger and a fruit platter. I would say the vegan burger was the best out of everything. It didn't start getting super busy until 1 or so that day. If you go early you will find a chair to sit and plenty of umbrellas. Nice area to rinse off as well. Beautiful space and relaxing. Horrible experience for service at the bar. Literally sat down and ordered a drink, took 15 minutes. It was made in correctly, nothing but attitude from the bartender for asking for remake after specifically pointing out what was incorrect. Another 15 minutes for remake and then literally 30 more minutes for food! No one wants to sit at the bar for an hour as soon as they get to the pool to enjoy their day. Went to The Fray here and this was my first time at this venue for a concert and it was one of my favorites for smaller concerts in Vegas! There was ample space for standing, the bar lines were manageable and I loved that there were so many cabanas available to reserve. They keep day beds in the pool and loungers around the pool that are first come first serve for concerts and I love that! Next time I would love to come early and snag one. The standing area by the stage had an astroturf which I thought was cool, better than standing on asphalt or concrete! The sound quality was great! I can't wait for another concert here! read more

Went there for Aloha Fridays. It's once a month and features live performances and food by Aipono Cafe. Had such a great time. Pool and facilities are clean and beautiful. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Best place to be. Had a span musubi while waiting for the performance to start. Family friendly and a great way to jumpstart summer. I'm hoping that the may have more events such as this one that draws in the locals. Will definitely be back. read more

I love a new locals hangout & Bel-Aire is just that! It's the newly opened pool area at the Durango. Some friends and I went to kick off summer with a couple day beds for Memorial Day. We loved that it wasn't overly busy & the food/drink prices were really reasonable. When we came there wasn't a live DJ which was fine since the music was still good. It is all ages but there weren't a ton of kids. Food wise I thought the poke bowl was great. The quesadilla was just okay. Overall an awesome pool day & we'll definitely be back again. I got here at about noon on a Sunday and I had absolutely the best day by the pool and in the water. This was a great time to arrive as there was lots of selection of daybed in and out of the water to choose from. As the hours in the day progressed it started to fill up but was an absolutely great crowd and the DJ was so so amazing. I started with an açai bowl for breakfast, it was a huge portion and very delicious and fresh. Garrett was extremely helpful at the bar and whipped up some amazing mocktails for me all day. My favorite pool as a local! Great service and ambiance is perfect for relaxing! Reserved a cabana for my daughter's 3rd birthday on an Easter Sunday. We expected it to be a busy day but our server and busser delivered well and promptly. We asked for our cake to be stored in their fridge in the kitchen and they had no problem accommodating that. This is much better than the pool parties on the strip, which have limited pool chairs and space with a tiny pool where no one can really fit and enjoy their time there. The pool is large enough for everyone to enjoy and a backyard with 2 pool bars and an area to dine if you decide to order food. However, you have the option to sit wherever as there is seating throughout and also lounge in the pool area. The service was okay; sometimes you have to wave the server to remind them that you need to order. It can get super busy on a Friday, and I cannot evaluate their service at other times, but they tried their best to be accommodating and prompt with our order. Overall, this is something to check out at least once if you are a local and looking to cool off during the summer months. read more

Came here to get a quick bite to eat and drink before heading to the pool and to avoid paying the $40 entry fee for the pool. If you dine here, you are able to show your receipt at the entrance of the pool to get a stamp and towel. You are only allowed to sit in and open lounger though which is understandable. My friend and I each ordered a cocktail and we split the BBQ chicken quesadilla. My 32oz pina colada was absolutely terrible. It hardly had any flavor or alcohol in it and was mostly ice, that wasn't blended properly. IT was truly a disappointment. The quesadilla was also nothing to write home about. After all was said and done, we ended up paying just over $40 a piece but we didn't have to pay the pool entry fee and the price of a drink so we still came out ahead. The restaurant itself is very pretty and the vibe/people watching is great. So many beautiful women, both as the waitresses, hostesses, and patrons of the pool. I've never been to Palm Springs, but the pool at the new Durango casino definitely is giving Palm Springs vibes -- the sunny yellow daybeds, the astroturf near the back, the white curtains of the cabanas billowing in the breeze, and of course, the palm trees punctuating and surrounding this modern oasis in the desert. Ordinarily, the entry fee is $30 Monday through Friday, and $40 on the weekends, and even more on certain holidays. My friends were staying at this hotel, so I was able to enjoy complimentary admission with them. I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. The pool is on the smaller side, not too crowded. The lily pads and some chaise lounge chairs are actually on top of the water, so theoretically you never have to leave the poolside. There's a small fountain flowing in the center, which is reminiscent of Red Rock casino's style. I didn't try the food, but I did get a cocktail -- the TROPICAL MOJITO. It looked promising in its 14 oz glory and garnished prettily, but alas, it was rather weak, especially at $18. So I was disappointed in that regard. Thus, the missing star. Everything else was nice. Add Bel-Aire Backyard to the list of off-strip options for fun summer pool days in Vegas. read more

Open table swindled me! I thought the Bel-Aire Backyard lounge was participating in Restaurant Week but they weren't. Either way I had an amazing time. It was so nice to sit beneath the mist and enjoyed a nice lunch while watching others enjoy the pool. The DJ was spinning a nice playlist. The food was decent. I enjoyed the Durango Roll. It had pineapple inside which was a nice and brought an unexpected flavor profile with the tuna. The steak frites were recommended by my server. I normally don't like shoestring fries but these were so crispy and seasoned. The steak was a typical flank steak. I didn't like the sauce that came with it but overall the dish wasn't bad. The buffalo wings I was not a fan of. I didn't like the cut of the wings and the excess Red Devil or Franks Hot sauce coated on top. read more

This place is exceptional! My friend and I decided to come today April 15th 2024. We arrived around 12:30pm and talked to the girls in the front at check In they went over the daybed and cabana prices. We were more interested In just paying for GA since we just wanted to eat and lay out and we're not interested in drinking. The girls were nice enough to let us in with two lounge chairs in the pool right next to the bar with perfect sun. We ordered some coconut waters and some food, we ordered the yellowtail, Durango roll and Caesar salad, the food was absolutely delicious. The weather was perfect the music was amazing and it wasn't busy so that was nice. We had a few different servers helping us and they were so sweet!! We enjoyed our time here and left around 5pm we will definitely be back to check out a daybed and bring some more friends!!
