Hi, on 7/18 my family and I stopped in as we were out celebrating for my brothers wedding the next day. It was our first time there, and it started off great. We maybe got 3 rounds of Guinness, before the young man (whom I didn't get a chance to get his name), the 6'7 Bouncer began approaching my brother (the groom) and letting him know that we were making such a mess at our table that it was beginning to create a problem. We left the venue, and returned after getting pizza. As the only BIPOC at the establishment, immediately after returning the same bouncer verbally accosted my brother. As the only BIPOC at the venue, we had already closed our tab out and paid our $200 bill. When my brother informed me of the rude and racist bouncer, I immediately asked for a manager. It took over 20 minutes for a manager to come over, and by the time they did I had actually gone and cleaned the enter restaurant. As the only BIPOC there, I decided to clean the tables and buss as so have worked in the service industry for 10 years. The Bouncer was antagonizing me the whole time, saying that we were causing a scene. As BIPOC, who were also PAYING customers, we felt chastised and out of place. I wouldn't recommend any BIPOC to enter this place, it's not safe as long as that 6'7 Bouncer is still working there. I was informed that I would receive a call by the owners, that was false information as well. My family and I will never visit this place again, and I suggest any BIPOC to do the same. read more

We decided to make Belfast our last stop b4 calling it a night. The bar was not overly crowded and I love their outdoor heated tent. The patrons are friendly as well as the bartenders. Three stars to me is a perfectly fair review, since my experience was just that- okay. Nothing was terrible, but also nothing was out of this world fantastic either. My husband got a steak sandwich, I got the fish and chips, my kids each got a kid's meal, and they did eat all of their vegetables. I got a beer, which was fine too. The waitress was nice enough to help us with a booster seat for my son. The ambiance, food and service were all fine. Is there anything that really made me want to return soon? Not really. I can here with my husband, dad, and my dads gf and we LOVE it. The food is amazing. The staff wore masks and the masks was unforced with the customers and staff. We didn't feel rushed out at all. The owner was fantastic as well. I love that there's a Guinness tap there. The bar had plexiglass in between every few customers so that way they can sit with their masks off. The restaurant was also very spacious as well. The bathrooms were unisex, which I didn't expect, but I don't mind that. Will totally come back here again and try more of their food!! read more

Stopped in yesterday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. It was a good crowd (Sunday Football) and great atmosphere. The menu had lots of options-it was really hard to decide what to get. We started off with the baked clams - they were delicious. Also got the jumbo pretzel as an appetizer. My friends each got the French onion soup and liked it. I got the shepherds pie (how can you not at an Irish pub??). It was delicious! It's also the only picture I took...sorry. I'll take more next time I stop in. read more

Not being from the area I had no idea how new this place was when we decided to eat here the weekend before St. Patrick's day. Walking down the strip we saw the indoor and outdoor seating was packed and when putting our names down they only had a 25 minute wait. We realized right away that this place was still in the learning phases when the waiter wasn't sure of our table number to write on our ticket. They had my favorite Sierra Nevada hazy little thing beer on tap so it didn't phase me as my beer came out fast and cold! Plus they were all friendly and super attentive to all and every request so that made up for it. For food we decided to split a few small plates. Baked clams were cooked perfectly and the fish and chips were delicious, but honestly We thought the wings were the winner here. They were beyond crispy without us asking for it and not overly saucy. I know other people don't usually like them this way so Just a note to the chef to be careful since they technically were well done and slightly dry. Overall a great experience so we've told a handful of people to check it out. We will definitely be returning! read more

For years and years I was positive that all Lindenhurst Village needed was an "anchor" establishment. A place that shows others thinking of opening a business that Wellwood Avenue is an untapped resource with plenty of room to grow and be profitable. Belfast is EXACTLY the place I had in mind. The is divided into three sections: an outdoor patio, a huge inside bar, and then really tastefully designed dining room, perfect for private events. It's a really great layout, and can accommodate any type of event a person has in mind for a fun time out! Even better than the location is the food: killer killer bar fare! My favorite are the garlic parm wings, followed closely by the shepards's pie. I'm still working my way through the menu, but to be honest: I tend to come back to these two favorites. Drinks: cold clean taps with a solid mix of beers, and thankfully only one or two IPAs (I love IPAs, but I can go to Sand City down the way if I want one). I'm about 20 deep into the "100 Guinness Club!" Final words: Belfast is quickly becoming the go-to place in Lindy, and we are all better for it. read more

Had lunch here with my girlfriends. Menu is limited. They didn't even have the portobello mushrooms for one of the items we initially order, so we had to pick something else. Many places to sit and socially distance. Bar area has plexiglass dividers on top of the bar every 2 stools. There's the main area, a separate room which would be perfect for a party and the lovely outside sidewalk area which has a black fabric awning and plexiglass windows which can be removed as needed. Shepard's pie was the standout dish at our table. It was a well seasoned comfort food. The 2nd best was the turkey club sandwich which had plenty of turkey. It was hard to eat with your hands since the tomato and avocado slides out when you take a bite but it was a favorable mess. The multi grain bread was appreciated by the health conscious member of our group. The loser was the steak sandwich . As seen in the picture it is well done but the temperature order was rare and the bread was burnt. It had to be sent back. The corrected sandwich was better but it barely had any sauce on it. Skip the steak sandwich. Waitress was pleasant, she rushed us for the initial orders and could not answer if the upgrade for onion rings were made in house or were frozen. It was my first time and not only was our server so sweet and really great at her job, we got to meet the owner, David and the manager, Brian (I hope I'm remembering their names correctly!!) Both were so nice and even bought us a drink!! So excited to go back!! So clean, nice decor, clean bathrooms, and amazing menu. Both drinks and food!! Went here for my future brother in-laws birthday for a drink. The place just opened up and it's getting used to everything especially with COVID going on, so there's a limited menu. For a Sunday night it was pretty lively for the game and it was a good ambiance. I have to say my meal was fantastic and the drinks were good. I got a few pints of Guinness and it was easily one of the best I've had on Long Island. It was creamy and thick and not watery like you find in other places. The menu pays homage to Ireland while also being a Gastropub in every sense of the word. Cherry Coke Glazed Wings with Pop Rocks? We had to try it. I also had the Tuna Tartar and the Fish and Chips. I read the other review about the cold fries and I gotta say my fries were super crispy and hot. Again one of the best fries I've had at a bar. They're likely getting everything up and running with the opening and COVID. I also left my card there on accident and when I went back they couldn't have been any more accommodating. They searched every inch of the bar and then found my card in one of the check books. Almost the entire staff stopped to help me out and that will not be forgotten. I will be back here and I look forward to when society fully opens and the bar gets into full swing. This place is so delicious! Related to Lily Flannigans, I believe it's owned by some of the same people. If you know Lily Flannigans then you know friendly and hospitable bartenders and waitstaff are always present. This place is conveniently located -A short walk from the Lindenhurst LIRR station. Their outdoor patio was covered since we were there in early April, so I am not sure if it will be open for the warmer weather and outdoor dining. The food is so good! They have some unique foods and our party chose to just have appetizers and drinks. Everything was delicious, you really can't go wrong with this place. I've been here a few times, since I'm a local of Lindenhurst, and always thought this place was good, until I had the Tuna Salad Melt for lunch today. I asked the bartender for a lunch menu, she gave me a menu along with the specials, and I saw "tuna melt with American cheese" as a special. I asked if they had Chicken Salad and I could do it the same way. The bartender, a server, and the manager told me "you don't understand this tuna salad is amazing you have to get it". I told the manager I don't like Tuna, but he said it was a Tuna Steak that they shred up. Intrigued, I ordered it, based off their recommendations. HOLY $HIT! This was literally the best sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. I was trying to be appropriate and not shove the whole sandwich in my mouth in under a minute, because this was the best thing I ever had. For $40 I had the best sandwich and 3 beers and it was amazing. The food is definitely a 10/10 read more
