Ho Ho Glum...the advertised Pre Certified 2019 Honda from Bell Ford. Let check my list of things that have happened since 12/3/24: This Pre Certified vehicle was not ready on the day/time agreed upon. This Pre Certified vehicle was dropped off while I was working and I was never able to inspect it. Upon inspection: the molding on both backdoors obviously did not fit, so, first rain. This Pre Certified vehicle will be completely soak inside. the battery was burnt - indication of acid leaking. Very unsafe. The floor mats were missing, the passenger front seat is a struggle to move. There is only one key fob and the Pre Certified vehicle only locks half the time. I have been directly lied to by being told I made appointments, I clearly did not make, and have been turned away from an appointment because my "thingy" wasn't in yet. Very highly technical people at Bell Honda. And, I have been told I am "disrespectful." Disrespectful I said back. I took out a 28k loan, I gave you a fantastic car that you WILL make a profit off of, and let's see what I got - a death trap that was falsely advertised at a Pre Certified vehicle. I said I wanted my loan rewritten, and I was ignored. Now, I find out the molding for the back doors, that was supposed to be ordered weeks ago, was NEVER ordered. Not only did Bell Honda falsely claim the vehicle I took out a loan for was Pre Certified, they stuck a burnt battery and ill fitting molding in that vehicle before it was put on the lot to be sold. I did speak with a friend who spend years in the car business. He told me that cooperate audits complaints and they look at service records to make sure items are being charged for things that should be taken care of - dealerships can lose their certification over inconsistencies. Hummm, I shall call for an audit of the vehicle I purchased and encourage EVERYONE to do the same. I was also told it's managers, Walid, who dictate how much to stick into a car and what they think they can get away with, Walid. I was also told my "salesman" should be doing the leg work, Walid. Walid is the manager so I was told, then there is someone else texting me who doesn't introduce themselves. It's all a game to Bell Honda. They could care less once that vehicle is sold. Well, I am not such a satisfied customer with a huge loan for a car that was not what it was advertised to be. I like the audit idea through cooperate. I gave this place only three stars because of how horrible and rude the GSM behaved to myself and Adult Sons when we were there yesterday. His name is Walid GSM. Absolutely despicable behavior. He lost his temper and patience when my sons were asking him to go slower and explain all the extra charges on the paperwork for the used vehicle. He literally threw his hands up at a frustration and snapped, telling my sons they were asking too many questions and to stop. Who does that? Unbelievable behavior. Then after wasting the entire day, he said it would not be done. We were kind the entire time, things happen which is understood. Called the next day as our vehicle was still there. First contact at 3:36pm was hoping to hear the status of the vehicle, left a message. Contacted in between time above and below left messages with others, last attempt was at 5:44pm and never received a call back. You're telling us over a two-hour period you are that busy you can't give a call back regarding the status of your vehicle. Literally would take you 2 minutes. These kids being hired have no common decency and get attitudes when you ask about your vehicle, as if it is an inconvenience to do their job. They lack communication skills, and don't know the value of good customer service. You chose a job which serves the customer. If you don't like your chosen profession move on. Our brand-new vehicle, now has numerous razor cuts on the outside of upper left back windshield when picked up from service. We have pictures from before drop off inside and out. Bell Honda repaired my VW car after an accident. They held the car for 2+ months with no good explanation on what was causing the delay other than parts delays to get the vehicle rekeyed. After calling the VW dealership that they were subcontracting the key cutting to directly, I found out that Bell Honda was trying to cut the key themselves, messed up the rekeying, and was refusing to pay to have VW rekey the car which is why the repair was delayed for so long. None of this was communicated to me and I ultimately took the car back and had it fixed up at another shop who finished the repairs in just under 1 week. Also just had the opportunity to read another review here on yelp with the same diagnosis what a coincidence. I'm starting to believe that this is absolutely a scam. I also called a third-party repair shop that only deals with Japanese cars and they told me that it was not common for the evaporators to be leaking and that it would be very difficult to diagnose since the evaporators are behind the dashboard. The person who I scheduled the appointment must've not been at the location because they told me to drop it off on Sunday before Labor Day. She led me to believe they were open. When I called on Labor Day, they couldn't find my appointment and told me they'd call me back. The vehicle that they sold me came with no warranty besides a six month that doesn't cover anything. Being a girl I didn't have a clue how this vehicle should feel when you drive it. I just assumed that because I was use to driving a BMW that this is just the way a jeep drives. They pressured me into getting it under the terms of I was losing value on my BMW each day that went by. The first full day of driving it I realized that my horn didn't work. I took it back in. It took a while for them to diagnose what was going on . They sent me to another dealership for them to fix it. Between Bell Honda and the other dealership, someone did not put my dash back together properly. It is just sitting on there. They had attached a screw to my battery cable to hold it onto the battery. It wasn't until I went to use the backseats that I realized that I'm missing seatbelts. The side view mirrors don't work. They move on their own. Someone told me that the tires were wearing uneven, so I took it in to get it looked at. The diagnosis was it needed a new Pitman arm and needed a new CV ball joint upper and lower. I needed a new tie rod, and it also needs a rear main seal. Oh, and it's leaking antifreeze. Who knows what else it needs. I am extremely disappointed that they sold me such a piece of crap! I will never buy from here again. They told me there was nothing that they could do because of the miles that came on the car ( mind you I wasn't the one who put all them miles on the car but my warranty was still good ) . So I ended up doing a voluntary repo and it messed up my credit. Joshua was our salesperson, nice enough guy but the 2020 Mazda CX-5 we purchased in August 2022 ($28,000 61K miles) was full of bond-o and chip paint that covered up extensive body damage several washings later. This car supposedly had 1 owner from Texas and a clean Carfax - this SUV looks as if it was in a weather disaster because there are dents & dings where there shouldn't be on a car that was only 1.5 yrs when we purchased it. A) We do not work or travel up and down 10 or 17. B) We have only put approx. 5K miles on it in a year. Last week I was taken advantage of in the sales department by Alex. I took my brand new HRV in for a second servicing since I purchased it earlier this year. Somehow, Alex recommended that I change out all four tires on my brand new vehicle because I mentioned to him that I was going on a road trip this weekend. My vehicle has 15,000 miles. I spoke to Iris a sales manager, who was not able to provide any resolution. All she did was shut me down and disregard the fact that I was taken advantage of. Since I spoke to her, I've been trying to contact anybody in leadership at the dealership and that is nearly impossible. Everyone I have spoken to over the course of the last few days lacks professionalism and work ethic. Everyone except for one gentleman by the name of Michael. Bought a used vehicle for my daughter 2 weeks ago. I asked about the condition of the brakes, since the wheels did now allow me to see them when I did a walk on the vehicle, and was told they were, according to then182-point inspection, replaced and new. 2 days later, the the brakes began to squeal incredibly and have been consistently getting worse. Clearly, the brakes were not new as stated to me I've called for several days to reach my salesperson, who I am now learning no longer works here. So I called for a manager for the last 4 days now. I am transferred every time to a voicemail, where I leave a message and contact number. I have received zero responses. Fast forward to today, I decided to go into the dealership and speak to a manager in person. I was told to please wait for 10-20 minutes as he was in a meeting. You're not going to believe this, but it is honest to God fact....I just bought a used Toyota truck from Bell Honda Feb 2025 and I was disappointed with the experience. I have purchased many vehicles from dealerships in my past 77 years and Bell Honda was the utmost, worse experience. I drove from Tucson, because the truck was advertised as a standard transmission and that's mainly what I wanted. When I got there, to my amazement, it was actually an automatic. Even the sticker on the windshield said it was a standard shift, which was false. I asked the sales lady, before I left Tucson if she was certain that it was a stick shift and she said that she double checked, and, for sure, it was a standard five speed stick shift. Also, the sales gal was dishonest because she was going to let me drive all the way out there letting me believe that all I had to bring was $1000 but, withheld the fact that she actually wanted $1700 and she knew it. She was very pushy and kept cutting short the conversation, repeatedly asking when I was going to show up. Management did not rectify or compensate for faulty brakes, when I complain about them which was a safety issue. The pads were too large for the rotors as I was told by a reputable repair shop. I asked the sales lady if the truck had low profile tires, because it sort of look like it in the advertised picture which I did not want but I couldn't tell, for sure by the pictures on the Internet site and she dodged my question which in fact it did have low profile tires on the non-standard, oversized 17 inch rims instead of the 14 inch rims, which made the ride extremely rough and scraped on the frame as you made a sharp turn, so, now I have to buy new 14" tires, new wheel rims, and then get an alignment to the tune of more than $1000 because my wife and I both have bad backs and cannot deal with the ride. this truck currently gives. I obviously recommend shopping somewhere else. I would be very surprised if Bell Honda stairs in business if they treat other customers like this. I certainly would upgrade my online sales representative if I were them. Check out other feedback on the discrepancies of this outfit. Their overall rating is certainly not the best. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is a total scam!!! I recently spent over $1,300 to have my right motor Mount fixed and a valve adjustment. Immediately after the car was "finished" it was looked at by another mechanic so that he could do some additional work. He text me to let me know that "whoever did the valve adjustment and motor Mount, did a terrible job" I then contacted Honda with the text messages that were sen to t me and their response was "we're so sorry. We're very embarrassed" they asked if I could bring it back in so they could fix it and I told them absolutely not. I don't feel comfortable coming back to a place that couldn't even put the bolts back on. Their service manager JUSTIN TRAN neglected to call me back twice and when I finally got a hold of him they best he could do was a "free oil change" seriously this place is awful. The day I showed up in person, I told them I was not interested in the models that they were showing me. A couple of days later they would follow up call me (which was expected), and I would tell them that I was still looking for a vehicle and if I was interested in one of theirs, I would let them know. I recently made a trade for a Mercedes Benz sedan at this dealership on Monday 07/15/2024, giving up my Mercedes Benz SUV. During the transaction, I noticed that the main drive belt in the sedan was in bad shape. When I brought this to the dealership, they refused to replace it, citing that they were already taking a loss on the car. Despite their stance, I got the car home and called a mobile mechanic to replace the belt. The mechanic informed me that the dealership should have caught and replaced the belt during their inspection, as a broken belt could have led to engine damage, cost of the belt and labor done by myself was 450 plus taxes. I would never buy any other car from this dealership nor any 2nd hand car. BUYER BEWARE gets an independent inspection done do not trust this dealerships shop. read more

It's incredibly unfortunate that the sales and service side don't communicate at all. I went in today to get my Zantek done. Which was something that is added on when purchasing the car from them. Got there and the service people said due to the rock chips they advised against it because it will fade the paint. Sent me over to finance to speak with them about getting a refund. They said they didn't deal with that. Sent me to the sales team. The guy that helped me there gave a completely different answer. Sent me back to service and told me they were going to detail my car inside and out, service had no clue about this. Took photos of my car because if it damages my paint I will contact my lawyer. Seems like a recurring issue at this dealership. Only positive of this entire trip - Kayla and one other gentleman from service were very helpful and empathetic. Outside of that small glimmer of hope (kind service people) I honestly will never buy a car from here again. Nor will I recommend anyone again. Every time I have come here it's always the same thing. I called and left messages repeatedly but no one returned my phone calls or messages that I left. I finally got so irritated that I asked to speak to a manager. I dealt with a particularly snarky lady who transferred me to someone's voicemail after I specifically asked that she not do that. If this wasn't bad enough, when I tried calling back the dealership my calls were repeatedly put straight through to that person's voicemail without ever being answered again. I have filed a complaint with Honda corporate and hope to hear back from somebody sometime soon. This was an issue that could've been easily remedied as it was when a manager finally took my phone call. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone ever again. Took it back and they said the cause was a battery, made me go through hoops to get a new one. Next (first maintenance) appointmenthad the same code. They then said the cause was a damaged headlight. From the moment I checked the boxes on Bell Honda's webpage I had nothing but a good experience. I immediately got a quote back from them that was quite realistic. Within minutes Toni from internet sales called me to say the car was in transit and would be here within days and she would hold it for me if I were truly interested. The car was expected on 1/20/23 but came in on 1/17/23. I got a call the afternoon of 1/17/23 telling me the car had been prepped and was actually ready to sell. We set up an appointment for 4:30 on 1/18/23. I went into the dealer expecting the old bait and switch routine telling me the price had been misquoted. I was greeted by Edwin Ortiz who was expecting me. He showed me the car and explained the controls and features in great detail. After a test drive Edwin brought in Brett the Sales Manager. I'm being a jerk because I'm expecting to be quoted a higher price or told the pricing was wrong. The first words from Brett were "What do we have to do to sell you this car today?" I told him I thought their price was fair but I was still debating if I really needed a second car. He asked what I thought was fair to get me to in the vehicle. I told him and the deal was made. Then came the dreaded trip to the finance office. I was expecting a hard sell from A J for various add ons like GAP insurance. He explained them to me. I said no and there was no high pressure. Our deal had been made at 7.9% financing. Unknown to me, the whole time we're doing paperwork he's shopping rates and as we're finishing up he told me I had been accepted at 4.9% financing which made the deal even sweeter. One thing I didn't mention is the fact that I live in East Mesa and am 47 miles from this dealer. I had to drive to a dealer that far away to get anyone who would actually talk realistic pricing. And since I wasn't selling my current truck Edwin drove it to my home and took a Lyft back to the dealer at their expense. In the 12-13 car buying experiences I've had in my life this one ranks in the top 2 or 3. I would like to thank Toni, Jeremy, Edwin, Brett and A J for what i felt was an honest and ethical deal.
