This restaurant is tucked away in a large shopping center and is very nice inside. Came in awhile back for dinner and found the food and service to be satisfactory. The portions are just right and food quality was really good. All things considered, I enjoyed the visit and would suggest it to anyone looking for Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

I would advise against visiting this establishment. We decided to try this place out for dinner, as we had received several gift cards from a raffle that we won. When we went to pay, we included 5 $10 cards towards our bill, we were then informed that only one could be used at a time. Because we were totally surprised, we asked to speak to a manager. The server came back and said again, we can only accept 1 $10 card for this purchase. Nowhere was there any indication that all cards couldn't be combined at one time. The owner came out, refused to honor all of them, and even made false accusations as though we may have "forged" them . The owner and staff were very rude and condescending throughout the encounter, ruining the evening and reminding me never to return.

Service- our server who was a young man is a 2* The bartender/host lady is 5*. She made us feel welcome Food- 2* mabu tofu was so bland that I took it home to "remake" the leftovers Combo fried rice was bland although it had tons of of proteins Boiled fish was ok at best. As Paris and beef was incredibly good. 5* for this Ambience 4*. It was nice and spacious

I can't remember the name. But it was delicious!

I've gone here twice and each time I've had a great experience. I love that they have two menus front and back and plenty of options. The second time around I enjoyed their baked salmon rolls and their jalapeño appetizer. They were both delicious! Service was great as well. The staff were pretty nice and it's a cute spot. I would recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area.

Dirt on vegetables 4. Wonton Soup

Last night, I ordered a take out order wonton soup and mixed tempura. I got home and opened the soup, take a few bites, and I notice there is DIRT still on the vegetables. I open the box of tempura and they are all drenched in oil and burned. So disappointing and I spent almost $30 for both items. I'm sitting here the next morning with a mild case of food poisoning and I don't think I will ever come back. The plus side? Staff were very nice and my order was ready on time.

My daughter made the run ( I paid) ordering at about 19:30 hrs. The order consisted of 2 plates, one small entree and two spring rolls. Arriving home we opened the "plates", which were identical. The one I chose opened with a surprise. A lot of chow Mein and little of the entree(s). Photo attached. My Hot Orange chicken had a whopping 5 pieces, one larger than the others. And Beijing Beef had 8 pieces but 4 were small tidbits. I've always known: if you want quantity, go to China Bowl. Something closer to home, Panda. My daughter opened hers and it too was limited but not like mine. She had a couple more pieces than mine. To top it off, my daughter had asked for extra sauces, specifying Sweet and Sour sauce for the spring rolls and Teriyaki for the chow mein because it is alway dry. There were none. There was not any cutlery, which would have been difficult had we not returned home to eat. The price of this was $37.08. Had we gone to China Bowl the cost, with tax, would have been $23.50 and we would have been satisfied. Also, China Bowl has the best BBQ Pork - China Express.... NONE I think we will stick to China Bowl in the future, drive the xtra mile. Open the photo of plate to see the full photo.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10

We ordered several different dishes: Honey walnut shrimp, lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, and house chow fun with chicken. As you enter the restaurant the ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff that took my order was knowledgeable and patient as I perused the menu.
