I highly recommend going to Bella Bridesmaids. I was initially unsure after reading all of the negative reviews, but I made the appointment and went anyway. Natalie was my consultant and she was great! I told her the style and color I was going for and she immediately told me which racks would have what I was looking for. She helped pull dresses, helped the girls trying on and keeping the different designers and their colors organized. She was never once pushing me to rush to make a decision. Once we decided on a dress, she was helpful in sizing the girls and explained the online ordering process. Yes, once you decide to order it is all done online, where the bridesmaids select the dress, size and billing information. Once everyone has completed their order a final contract is sent to the bride to double check everyone's order before the whole order is placed. The dress I chose, Bella did not have a dress in the material and color so I had to make my decision based upon a small swatch. Natalie made me feel confident that the color was going to be what I was looking at and was wanting. She also ordered me a larger swatch with all of the layers from the designer which came in a week later and it was exactly what I was looking for. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Bella Bridesmaids. I did make an appointment and highly suggest it as it is a small house with 4 rooms, 3 of which are lined with dresses. There is a reason they only accept customers by appointment. I found the dresses to be of high quality and priced comparably to other bridal salons. Definitely try them out! read more

We had a great experience with Bella when shopping for bridesmaid dresses. The sales associates were so friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped in the door and it was so easy for my bridesmaids who live around the country to go into their local Bella and try on the dresses I picked out. The online showcase made it easy for my bridesmaids to vote on the dresses they liked most from a few different styles I picked out and let me keep track of who had ordered what and when the dresses would be coming in. I want to start off by saying I never write reviews (this is literally my first one ever), but I will say that I ALWAYS read Yelp reviews. Many times I'll pick a place to eat, shop, etc. based off reviews I've read. That being said after reading the reviews for Bella Bridesmaids on Greenbriar I was VERY surprised because I had a wonderful experience....which is prompting me to write my first ever Yelp review! From the get-go all the way to the ordering of the dresses the ladies at Bella Bridesmaids were incredibly helpful, quick to respond and super friendly. They have a great selection of bridesmaid dresses and many, many designers to choose from. I worked mainly with Natalie, and also with Angeline. I probably asked about 2,685 questions and Natalie was always very quick to respond and extremely friendly/helpful. I had about 6 bridesmaids needing fittings and some coming from out-of-town. Natalie opened the shop up early for us so she could accommodate our group. All of my bridesmaids had nothing but great things to say and the ordering process was a breeze! Planning a wedding can be A LOT, but the ladies at Bella Bridesmaids made the bridesmaid dress portion simple and stress-free. I worked with Haley and Jessica at Bella Bridesmaid and couldn't be happier with my decision! Dress Selection When I started looking at bridesmaids dresses, I had no idea what I wanted. Jessica recommended that I come in by myself, so we could avoid too many opinions from all of my bridesmaids resulting in my confusion. The store in by appointment only, but that worked great for me because it was so incredibly efficient. She guided me through the decision making process and I ended up selecting a couple of Lula Kate dress options for my girls. However, I still had not picked a color for the dresses. Bella Bridesmaid sent me pictures from previous wedding, provided me with swatches of multiple materials/colors, and let me take several of their sample dresses to my church to help me make that decision! Fitting Party Since I have bridesmaids that literally live all over the world, I didn't know how the whole "Fitting Party" concept would work. However, Bella Bridesmaid was very accommodating, scheduling it on a Saturday (which contrasts the previous reviewer's experience) and allowing girls that couldn't make it to send in their measurements. We brought champagne and had a great time while my girls tried on the different dresses. Haley was very discreet about taking the girls measurements and made everyone feel very comfortable with the sizes she recommended that they order. Ordering After the fitting party, Haley and Jessica worked with me to place my order. As soon as the order came in (ahead of the time quoted) I was able to pick up my dresses and I LOVE them! I love this place. The owner is sweet and cheerful as well as really helpful. I was having a miserable time trying to find dresses before coming here and I had a unique set of parameters as well as a unique vision. My matron of honor had been here various times for her wedding as well as others and suggested I try here. It is by appointment only, but why would you not want that? Do you want to go to David's bridal and be crowded into a dressing room with all your girls while everyone else watches you try one? No thank you. This experience was intimate and let the girls feel comfortable trying on the dresses. Also I had a huge list of requirements, and the lovely owner showed no judgement or hestiation. I wanted a pallete of blues and she went with it even though it is pretty crazy to want different dresses from different designers. She was very accomodating to my vision. I also have a girl in my party that has specific religious parameters and she really helped me think of all the possibilities to overcome that struggle. She really helped me think through what I thought was going to be a nightmare and turned it into something perfect. Lastly I had budget parameters and all my girls were exceptionally pleased and suprised that our favorite dresses/top picks came to be right at or under what we wanted to spend when we all thought long dresses would be quite more expenisve. So just to recap, this place is a great way to truy on dresses, the owner is really helpful and nice, and the prices of the dresses are great especially since the quality and cuts are so much better than what you would find at a generic place. Bella Bridesmaids is the easiest, most stress free way to buy a bridesmaids dress. I have used them for my own wedding, and 3 others that I have been in. Natalie Taylor is the owner of this store, and does a phenomenal job. All of her employees are extremely knowledgeable about the industry, and helpful in determining your "vision" for your wedding. All of my bridesmaids were scattered between Mississippi-Texas so it was a no brainer to choose Bella due to convenience alone. The order form for the bridesmaids made things super easy- just fill out and pay on your own. Having the dresses paid for ahead of time takes the financial stress that can sometimes come with being a bridesmaid. Yes, they carry high end designers. So yes, you're going to pay more for that. But you certainly get what you pay for. Every dress I have ordered for weddings was BEAUTIFUL and extremely well made. Also, the sizing is different with each designer- Bella will try and as accurately as possible direct you to the right size. Even when I have used other places for bridesmaids dresses I have always had to have alterations. Theres no way a designer can perfectly match each size to every single woman's body type! Alterations are never a huge deal in my book. Just something you do as a bridesmaid! Absolutely terrible customer service. Zero accommodating abilities whatsoever. Ordering process for a dress is back asswards. Received an email that my dress was in, went up there three times (had to use my lunch each time to do so, mind you) with the first two visits to no avail. The third visit was a snooty woman telling me she doesn't know why I got the email and that my dress was not in. I also received no apology from Bella or her bridesmaids on the matter. Every encounter with the employees here, be that via telephone or in person, has failed to be pleasant in the least bit. It is about as difficult to get helpful information as it is to get in touch with somebody here. If there was a half-star option on yelp, I would gladly choose that rating. Nice selection of dresses of course, but customer service is just awful! I had a bad experience when getting fitted for a dress, they tell you to order FIVE sizes up, which made me leave feeling obese and depressed. I had an inkling that it's ridiculous to order a dress from a well-known designer FIVE sizes up, so I ordered TWO sizes up, and the dress ended up being too loose! This is the worst case scenario for a business whose CORE SERVICE is literally FITTING people for dresses. I do think that this is isolated to this location of Bella Bridesmaid. They are franchises and have different ownerships. I recently moved to Atlanta and bit my lip when my Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid wanted to look for dresses in Bella Bridesmaid Atlanta. We went in, and had a better experience. However, my bridesmaids decided they would rather pay $30 more for the same dress from Nordstrom so that they can have a much better ordering and customer service experience with Nordstrom. Moral of the story is to use your own judgment when picking a size, take your own measurements and avoid Bella Bridesmaid when possible. read more

Do not go. Bottom line you will end up paying about $100 more for the exact same product. When asked about the extra fees, the response was that it is corporate's fault. For a store that holds itself out as a specialty boutique there is nothing special about it. The worst part is the customer service. I had a horrible experience here and then as a follow-up Jessica sent me a snarky email in an attempt to defend her unprofessional behavior. The best places to buy a bridesmaids dress may entail a little bit of a drive, but it is completely worth it. After reading the reviews below I am so mad at myself for not taking them seriously. Wow! I just read the review from Natalie B. and decided I HAD to write a response. Haley and her staff over at Bella Bridesmaid are FABULOUS! I have worked with them 4 times now...I got married and then 3 of my bridesmaids had such a fantastic experience that they used them as well. They are wonderful! Their selection is by far the best in town and they have amazing customer service. They set expectations up front, which means you're not going to have any surprises along the way. I also liked that they require appointments because you basically get to take over the store and you have their FULL attention. You really get the personal experience working with them and you don't feel like just another bride. With my wedding, one of my bridesmaids was a plus size and designer I chose did not offer plus sizes. Haley went as far as ordering the fabric, contacting her tailor, having them make a dress for my bridesmaid to match the other dresses and she made my bridesmaid feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Bottom line, it doesn't get any better than Bella Bridesmaid. They have the best customer service in Houston, which I think is quite obvious based upon the experience I had. I've worked with them 4 times now and I still don't have a negative thing to say about them. Bella Bridesmaid kept me and my girls happy throughout the entire process, which took a huge load off of my plate. The best part...your girls will actually be happy with you when you show them the dress you are forcing them to wear :) On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best), Bella Bridesmaid gets a 20! read more

I called 3 days in advance to let them know I would be dropping by just to look at bridesmaids dresses. We walked in today and stood there while multiple employees walked right by us without looking at us or saying a word. After 10 minutes of standing there awkwardly, we walked out. They just lost business on 8-10 bridesmaid dresses, and I will definitely make sure I don't recommend this place to friends. Long story short one of the ladies here tried to talk me into ordering FIVE sizes larger than I needed...FIVE. From the other reviews on here either some got lucky or their bridesmaids were nice enough to not worry their bride with their dress inconvenience. Let me start off with the fact that I wasn't the only one of my group with this exact same issue. To sum a long story up, I went to the Austin location because its where I live. Upon making appointment I asked if the dresses in my show room were available to try on and they said yes only to find out that they didn't have them or something similar once I got to my appointment. I didn't get to try anything on and got my measurements taken where I was then told to order a size up. I'm a 4 sometimes a 6, was told to get an 8.When I second guessed her she responded with if its too small you're going to get stuck with that dress. I received my$260 AMSALE dress to find out it was huge and multiple tailors wanted to charge me $100+ to fix it. When I reached out to the Houston location about the situation they pretended to care and possibly be able to fix my situation to find out after a couple of email exchanges they threw their NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES POLICY that MY BRIDE and I AGREED TOO upon purchasing this dress. I would have understood if I lost weight or the dress style didn't look good on me but I went by the recommendations given from a BELLA bridesmaid "expert" so an even exchange for the size I should have been told to order based on my measurements would have been reasonable. To sum this review up, for a store that requires appointments and measurements to be taken and sells expensive dresses(for bridesmaids), the least they could do is carry the dresses or something similar to try on IN YOUR SIZE, offer alterations or offer a dress that is sure to fit that won't require another 100$ worth of alterations. read more

I have never been treated as rudely as when my daughter and I went in for a fitting last week. They are selling smoke and mirrors with their "appt only" format. There is nothing in this snooty store that you can't find in every other retail bridal store. They need to "get over themselves" and remember that retail is and always will be about the customer and service. read more

I am extremely unimpressed with this place. The employees are not friendly or helpful. In addition to that, it is a complete waste of time to get fitted. Measure yourself at home. The only sizes they carry are sample sizes, so like 10-12. How am I supposed to tell which dress I like when it is hanging off of me? The employees were not helpful in showing me how my size would actually fit. At the end of my appointment, I was ready to buy the dress (only out of obligation to my bride,) and the lady said I can only order online. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!! Then, when I try to order online, I have to pay $25 to get shipped. Bella does not do alterations, so I will have to pay extra for them on top of a $300 basic dress. IF YOU ARE A BRIDE, DO YOUR BRIDESMAIDS A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE BELLA! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!! Only positive I can say is it is inside a cute house, but rugs they had were FILTHY and dressing room was dirty. read more
