A year or so later of Josephine being my go-to stylist and I'm never disappointed. Her hair coloring services are still half price of whatever I see elsewhere and I hope that never changes! And she offers coffee, tea, or alcohol like champagne sometimes in addition to a listening ear if you enjoy conversation and wanna talk about your trash ex-boyfriend. Came here for the first time a few days ago to give Tatiana a try. A few things went wrong starting with her thinking I canceled my appointment and had to cut someone else's hair at the time I was to start. I am a new mom and had to bring my baby with me, so it wasn't an easy task to begin with. Next, she asked what I wanted for my hair and I told her... keep the length and thickness, long bangs and light layers around my face only. She asked if I wanted layers in the back, which I kindly and persistently said no. She started cutting away... many times while she was cutting I repeated that I don't want my hair thinned out and I DO NOT want layers in the back (they are just so hard to grow out evenly again). She said, no I'm not doing layers just giving a style. At the end, the haircut was NOT the one I wanted and my hair feels so thin I hate it. I have layers in the back, thinned out hair and the only thing she got right (hence the 2 stars) is the bangs. I paid $100 for that. Won't be coming back again. Josephina - thank you for your reply. Josephine is the best stylist I have found. She took me from brown to blond and was very careful since I have thin-fine hair. I have been to other hair dressers that tend to over book their clients, so you end up sitting in the waiting room or chair longer. My daughter and I have been seeing Lindsay for 10+ years combined and we will not have anyone else do our hair. I have curly hair and my daughter's is wavy. Not only does she have curly hair and understands our exact needs, but she makes it a point to always ask us. One example is when we say we want a certain length, she will ask if that's the length we want with wet or dry hair... Yes, it makes a big difference. She takes her time before starting. We tell her what we want and she gets it done. At other salons I have gone to before her, I was never happy with my curly hair and the cut was always off. I originally found her from a salon that was posted on the naturally curly site and have followed her wherever she goes since then.
