I love the ambiance at Bella Dolce. Friendly staff, updated decor and furniture, AND they offer cimplimentary beverages with their services

First came here when my mom and I decided to get pedis. We walked in and were immediately greeted nicely. We filled out the little cards which ask us what we were here for (classic pedicure). We chose our colors and were escorted to our chairs, where our technicians were already waiting with the water drawn (they use the little liners as well). They didn't do the thing that most technicians do, and push the remote in your hand and turn the chair on to a really horrible setting. They gently offered the remote to us, and then just let us be, which I really preferred. Overall the pedicure was great, they did a clean job, and I was satisfied! The atmosphere was very great, sort of Gene Juarez feeling, with everyone in black tops and they weren't shouting at each other in a different language. I went back a week later to get a new shellac manicure. I was seated and Le did my manicure, and she seemed a little rushed while filing and cutting my cuticles, but she did a good job. I got a french, and it looks great! She was super quick while doing the white tips, but didn't once make a mistake. She did use so much oil while doing the massage that even a couple hours later my arms/hands were still oily. Overall, the shellac is okay, it's not as shiny as I would like, but maybe that is just the leftover oil on my hands. Price was $35 because of the french. read more

I will NEVER go back to this nail place. It is always over booked and over crowded!!!! I came in wanting a manicure and I saw people getting seated and work done that came in after me. They finally seat me and set the tray of lotion and what not down. I am sitting and sitting there.. NO ONE SHOWS UP... the 2 ladies on both sides of me commented to me how long they notice that I've been waiting... Well no shit I felt like saying!! And good for you, you are both getting your nails done.. After 15 minutes of this BS I just got up and left. This place, I can tell, just caters to the people that they know are planning to spend a lot of money there. The place is overpriced to begin with. A simple manicure is too much to bother for apparently. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I am always looking for a great nail salon with reasonable prices in the Mill Creek area. I had a ValPac coupon several months ago and decided to try out this new salon. I am glad I did! The salon is beautiful inside. The staff offers you a drink when you come in - tea, slushies, etc. I've always come in as a walk-in and been able to get in right away. Scheduled an SNS manicure and a pedicure. Staff was friendly and attentive, but it seemed odd to me that they did the SNS overlay without a manicure for $39. The technician didn't mention the additional manicure option until I asked her if they'd trim my hangnails and cuticles. She told me that the manicure would be an additional $16 which I could add after they put the SNS on, and that just seemed like it wouldn't work to me. So I have a nice SNS color but nails that look unkempt. read more

My review is with Lena. I will be going to her from now on. Without getting too gross, I have a big toe that gets an ingrown toenail. I went to her last month and whatever she did (she's the expert) she made my toe feel better than it has ever felt since it's been ingrown! I went back to her yesterday to see if she was that good and YES! She is that good!! My feet feel so incredible!! It hurts as she removes the ingrown part - be prepared - but it is so worth it!! The rest of the pedicure was wonderful. I got the Signature Pedicure because it was my treat to myself. My feet look pretty again with my fall polish change. The spa is nice and I feel that they pay attention to detail in keeping it clean. read more

I came here to get my nails done before a trip to Hawaii. The interior is really nice and they have these little cards you fill out when you arrive to say what services you want, whether you want a free beverage, etc (they have a slurpee machine!!). I asked for water and didn't get one tho:( It has a clean feel to it but the woman that did my shellac french with gold border was really rough and my nail beds were sore for a few days afterwards.. She cut so deep into the side of one of my nails that I bled. That being said, she also went back and redid my French when she noticed that I didn't seem entirely pleased with them and my nails looked pretty good when all was said and done. My nails lasted really well during my week in Hawaii considering the time I spent in the pool and sand and hiking around the rainforest. I've been getting compliments for weeks! I wish I could give Bella Dolche less than one star. I visited this last Sunday, and asked for a full set of coffin shaped long acrylic nails. Instead, the nail tech decided she wanted to give me tiny , square and rounded thick chunky acrylic nails. I asked for LONG nails and the nail tech proceeded to tell me, "no, you need short nails you are so young" I have never got a worse set of nails. When i kept asking for longer nails, she then said "okay i'll make them longer." As you can see in the photos, she decided to extend the acrylic powder over the fake nail, this resulted in thick, uneven, and all different shaped nails. I have never been more disappointed in a nail salon, just because there is free drinks doesn't give the employees an excuse to do a poor, terrible job. read more

Most of the time they do a good job, just depending on who you see. Kim always does a great job! Last time I was in, Nancy told me that no one knows how to do designs...no one? Really? I had a design done by Kim just a month ago. I don't know if it was cus it was close to closing and she just didn't want to do it or because she just doesn't know how to do designs. Anyways Kim ended up doing it for me and she did an amazing job. Sometimes I think the tech's can do a better job at communicating what they're doing. Instead of just talking to the other tech's (in another language mind you) and doing whatever they think is fit. I'll continue going here until I find a new place. read more

I'm so unhappy with the pedicure and service that I received this time around. This is only the second time I have been here and while things started out okay they surely didn't end that way! I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. I always get a French tip pedi with a design and then have my brows cleaned up. Well, the woman doing my pedicure was very quiet and I even felt like I was getting the cold shoulder as if she was having a bad day on Saturday when I went in. Now, I do have horrible problems with ingrown nails on my two big toes so I will give her credit there because she did a great job getting those out but that still doesn't make up for the fact that I paid a good amount of money for a massage that really didn't last but a couple of minutes and then a pedicure that ended up not looking very good! Now, as far as the massage is concerned I did pay for their luxury package, I believe that is the name of it, and it does state it lasts for about an hour. Well, she did spend a lot of time working on those ingrown nails but I don't feel like that should take away from the massage and things I did pay a good amount of money for! Now, up to this point everything was fine well except for the fact that even though I had selected I wanted some water on the paper at check in and no one ever brought it for me until I requested it. Anyway, as she is finishing up my pedicure I remind her I would like a design, a flower, then I had a message on my phone so I looked away, and when I looked back she had started doing the design in white too. When I told her I didn't want that and didn't realize that is what she was doing she got upset with me! I told her I have never had someone just do something without even asking me what I wanted like that but she wipes it off and starts again when I told her the colors I wanted but again she was clearly upset. So, she does the new design and everything is fine. Then I'm told I need to wait a while before it's time for my eyebrow waxing. When the woman who was doing my brows came to get me she ripped the toe spacers off and it ended up smearing one of the designs so she called the other woman back who was clearly even more upset! I apologized to her, even though it wasn't me who did it, but when she "fixed" it she removed all of the polish from the top of my toe and then just drew the design on so now my right toe looks awful compared to the others!! Then when I get up to go for my waxing she tells me to be extremely careful this time while she huffs and puffs at me! It wasn't until I was in with the lady who was doing my brows when I asked if the other woman was having a bad day or something then when I came out her attitude was better. But the point is for as much as they charge and for this type of service I expect so much more than what I got! I just moved to this area and went to my previous nail salon for almost 10 years religiously and I have never been treated like this nor I have ever left this unhappy with a service! Plus this place cost almost double!! I will not be returning there!! This was absolutely ridiculous!!!! So I have truly battled back and forth with myself as to if I should update this review or not but then I thought about it and would truly hope someone would let me know! So here updating this review because I felt like people should know what happened to me. A short time after receiving my eyebrow wax here I ended up in the hospital for almost 4 days for what turned out to be a staff infection! The physicians at Swedish in Edmonds said they thoroughly believe it was due to the waxing and staid it is very possible the wax was not hot enough between treatments to kill any lingering bacteria. Needless to say I won't be having my eyebrows waxed for a while! Ha just be careful because this truly could have happened anywhere! I've been getting my brows waxed since I was 13 and I have never had such a thing happen but that doesn't mean it can't happen again or to someone else. Best of luck to all of you! read more

The lady giving the pedicure had about as much energy as a bored tired housewife. My "classic" 1/2 hour massage was 5 minutes and I may as well have just said skip it and threw some paint on myself. I got nothing for my time and money. Very disappointing. If your staff get tired by noon, trade them out. Not good business for it to be a gamble if I will get what I pay for or not. Wasted my time and money and given that I consider this service a luxury, I feel very let down. read more

I came in for a classic mani/pedi and left with a sloppy paint job and they cut my toe nail so short that I developed an ingrown toenail.

What's the purpose of making an appointment if we aren't going to be seen at that time. Me and my sister made two appointments for two shellac manicures. When we got there we waited 10 mins to even be seated. When we got seated one person started on me while my sister sat next to me waiting for her nail tech, 30 mins later they finally started her manicure. I am not impressed on the work they did either. If I am paying $30 plus tip I expect quality work. read more

I was surprised that they only accept cash tips as it was my first time going there. It is a beautiful nail salon. My daughter has been before and said that is new. Why 'cash' only for tips? Sounds sketchy to me. Anyway her sns dip nails turned out great. For some reason two of mine have already chipped different nail techs and to top it off one the nail techs kept saying give us "$20" tip for both. We were shocked who demands a tip? She was watching my daughter looking for how much cash I had of which I did not have much cash, we gave $9 each, probably should have given less. I could see this lessen the tips they get if new customers come in. We have become a cashless society for the most part. I gave 2 stars because of her focus on getting a large tip. This was my first time in there and it started out good. The service was good and everyone was very nice. My friend and I went to get pedicures and I was getting acrylics. For my nails I got their standard white polish for both my toes and my acrylics. My friend got a dark blue for her toes. Like I said everyone was very nice and so was the building, Thats not what I'm upset about though. About a week after we had been in, maybe eight days, our toe nail polish had chipped, I don't know what my fried did but I know that I didn't do much with my toes to have chipped them. Also my acrylics were falling off as well within a week of the appointment with little activity with them and about two weeks after the appointment all my acrylics had fallen off. Also the white polish on the toes and fingers had turned a kind brownish color within a few days. read more

Had a great pedicure by Ben today! The salon was so clean and spaced out. The had shields between each seat and made sure to space out people 6ft. It was never to crowded. I did the classic pedicure and Ben spent so much time on me, it felt like a extra special pedicure. My feet look so soft and pretty! Can't go wrong with white nail polish on your toes. Not a fan of this place. Here's a question? How do you go in with feet that aren't calloused and come out afterwards with them rougher than when you went in? My feet were soft to begin with. Had a couple of areas that needs a slight filing is all. Next day my feet are rough. What the heck?! The nail polish also is chipped and all jacked up. Won't go there again. read more
