I've been waiting to try this place for a while now. They had me a focaccia . Their menu is very Italian. They offer sandwiches, pasta, desserts, salads, and comb meals. The Focaccia Gourmet is what got my attention. The Focaccia Gourmet is an Italian pizza. I had the Carnivora made with mozzarella, tomato, smoked pancetta, ham, and pepperoni. This "pizza" was so good! I got the small, which was $14, but I could have easily eaten the regular! The staff were so nice and friendly. I ordered at the counter and thought I'd pick my order up at the counter, nope, they brought it to me. I love that it's an authentic Italian restaurant with an Italian staff. It makes the experience that much better! Inside the restaurant you get a feel that you are not in an American eatery. There are Italian touches all around. Bellagente is a casual sandwich type spot in downtown Fort Worth. The place has a modern, urban franchisee feel with tall ceiling and Italian bricabrac on the walls. I ordered takeout online using the Toast website. When I arrived, the man working the checkout was alone also preparing orders for two other customers. Very friendly, professional, and handled everything himself. I would have preferred a printed receipt attached to my bag so I could confirm it was mine without having to bother him, but he was an undeniably fast worker. I ordered the paprika chicken salad and a focaccia bread side. The portions were standard. The focaccia was warm and tasted fresh, but nothing memorable. The salad was also fresh, but the flavors were pretty average. The chicken had been cooked in their paprika sauce that made it a little more interesting, though not something I'd go out of my way for. The croutons were not as crunchy as I'm used to, but maybe that's the style? Overall, everything was acceptable but not special. This works fine for a quick lunch downtown when convenience matters more than strong flavor. Suitable for a simple meal, but not something I would recommend as a destination spot. read more

Yo this place is kinda the truth though. I've been looking for a good pizza place in Fort Worth for months and fam lemme tell you, this place might be it. The sauce is tangy and the toppings are great. The dough is really, really good. I think their prices are kinda high though. $20 for their full pie is definitely on the high end for the size of the pie. Probably should be more in the $15 range for the size. What an amazing place. Everything on the menu sounded excellent. I got a slice of focaccia and a half sandwich. Both were excellent. My husband and friends had pasta and were very happy. I ordered a Parma Zone on the recommendation from the gentleman taking my order. The focaccia bread they put the sandwich on had a delectable chew and the flavor of rich olive oil. The sandwich was the perfect balance of arugula, creamy burrata and prosciutto, but the star here was definitely the basil pesto. It took this sandwich to the next level.
