Bella Italia Pizza is located in a shopping plaza, so parking will not be an issue. I came here on the recommendation of a friend originally from Brooklyn, New York and since I am from New Jersey, I am always looking for Italian food similar to the great Italian food that I was used to up in the northeast. I got my order to-go, so my only interaction was with the woman at the counter, but she was friendly enough and my food was ready at the promised time. I did notice the interior and enjoyed the overall ambiance. It looks like a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I got both a veal parmigiana dinner and an eggplant parmigiana sub. Both were good and they gave a good quantity of food. Pricing was competitive enough and the food was tasty. I did ask if they could have made the sauce spicy and they explained they don't really do this, but could add crushed pepper. Again, not a big deal, but worth mentioning. I.will say that the pizza also looked good. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend Bella Italia Pizza. Go see for yourself. read more

This was my second time here. Aldo, the owner bought me a glass of wine. That should tell you everything you need to know about Bella Italia. I opted for chicken parm sub which I could only eat 1/2. I like how the crunchy chicken is sliced for easy eating. Loaded with imported cheeses and a perfectly toasted hoagie roll. I have yet to try the pizza, which is crazy since I'm a pizza connoisseur. Casual dine in service underperforms. My much older friend wanted to grab dinner and I obliged. Bella was recommended and I agreed as I haven't been before but heard good things. I'll keep this short and sweet, the service was on point and friendly. The salad appetizer was a great portion with plenty of vegetables and the house dressing was simple but good. Now the main part: the pizza... We ordered the supreme loaded pizza and it came out freshly cooked. Unfortunately, the sauce was devoid of flavor, the crust uneventful and for some reason the sausage tasted bland. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't a horrible pie, it was a just a reminder that pizza is diverse and thankfully we have many other better versions in town. The venue has a dated feel and the customers there showed it. I would return to try another dish that wasn't pizza as it had plenty of other options. They also have wine, but no wine list. $42 tab for the loaded pizza, salad and a peroni beer. The very next day I had the large pizza and 20 wings from cornerstone and it was much better at $38. The pizza is phenomenal, the crust is cooked perfectly, the calzones have a tremendous amount of filling, the garlic knots are mouth watering, the Greek salad is fresh, and the wine selection is impressive for this small location. Aldo and his team are friendly, attentive, helpful, and fun! It can get a little loud on a Friday or Saturday night, but not unreasonably so. We ordered the super deluxe pizza and a Greek salad to share. A 16" pizza is definitely more than enough for 2 people and you will bring home leftovers. The pizza was thick and I love the combo of meat / veggies on the super deluxe. I love when pizza is so hot out of the oven and you can tell how fresh it was and this was exactly my experience here! We also ordered the Greek salad too which was good and I liked the dressing. The service is great we absolutely loved our waitress she was funny and sweet. It gives off very home styles family vibes here. It wasn't a quick in & out dinner but we enjoyed our time spent here. I had their house red wine which was pretty good too. We love Bella Italia! It is family owned and the servers have been there forever! It's a quaint little restaurant with a family feel! We get the Garlic Zeppoli's every time we eat there. I've been getting food here for years and it's always delicious! My kids love a meatball and pepperoni pizza while my favorite is the Bianca. They also have awesome salads (antipasto is my fave). You have to get zeppolis with every order! The garlic and the dessert version are equally awesome! I usually pick up our food to have at home but I have eaten in the dining room a couple of times. I can't believe I've never reviewed Bella Italia! I've tried different things here over the years. The best thing about this place is actually the atmosphere and the employees. The staff here really make you feel welcome. The owner, Aldo, is such a nice guy and remembers his repeat customers and their usual orders. All of the other team members I've encountered have also been really kind and helpful. The food is prepared fresh and is good quality. I'm not a huge fan of their pasta dishes with red sauce, but I'm very picky about red sauce so I don't count that as a negative. I love their wings! The wings are large and well prepared. The pizza has an amazing crust. I recommend ordering a fresh pie! They do pizza by the slice, but it's so much better fresh in my opinion. Recently, we ordered a large pie with extra cheese and mushrooms. It was delicious! I'd have liked maybe a little more mushrooms, but it was still a good pizza. Another thing here I really love is their beef patties with cheese. It seems random coming from an Italian restaurant, but they are soooo good! Our town has a lot of great spots for pizza and Italian, and Bella definitely will continue to be among the ones I frequent due to good quality and fantastic customer service. read more

Decided to pick up Bella Italia for dinner the other day to take home. We ordered the Stromboli with all fillings except for mushrooms and we also ordered their chef salad with everything on it except for banana peppers. On the phone they mentioned that it would take 25 minutes for the food to be ready which was correct. We arrived to pick up the food 25 minutes after placing the order. From first glance the salad looked pretty good and the Stromboli looked decent but like it was lacking filling towards the ends. The salad was excellent with a vinegar-oil type dressing provided on the side. The Stromboli was good, where there was actually filling in it. Unfortunately about 1/3 of the Stromboli had no filling in it and was just bread. We will be back here to give their pizza a try but I don't think we would order the Stromboli. We also would order the salad again soon. read more

A cute place that's very unassuming from the outside. We were searching for an Italian place to go to because I have been craving some spaghetti. We did a quick search for Italian places in our area by using our ZIP code on Yelp. This place popped up as being nearby by our house since we live in the Conway area. When we headed in we were greeted right away by the waitress / hostess. She was very friendly and brought us menus and asked for our drink orders as soon as she came up to the table. She saw me looking forward to drinks on the menu, and was quick to go ahead and recite off the list of available beverages so I didn't have to keep looking. They have a variety of options from sodas to beer and wine. For food they offer everything from pizza and calzones to main entree pasta dishes. I decided to go with the spaghetti carbonara and the husband had the meatball sub. Everything is made fresh so it did take a little time to bring to the table however it was worth it for fresh food. The carbonara was very good and had plenty of pancetta and bacon I wish that it had peas in it as well. The entire place was really clean and well-kept and several people came in and out to make to-go orders while we were sitting there. It's obviously a popular place with the locals. Pretty disappointed with this restaurant. I first went there with friends and had a great experience. But my most recent experience has turned me off completely. My wife and I decided we wanted good Italian food, so we called up Bella Italia and I put in a delivery order. I gave them my address and my order, and they gave me my total and told me I would pay the driver. About 30 minutes later I get a call from someone (presumably the delivery driver) who asks to verify my address and then proceeds to tell me they couldn't deliver to me because they don't deliver to my zip code. Someone from the restaurant started calling at the same time so I clicked over and talked to them. They also said they were unable to deliver to my zip code because it was too far. The distance was 5.5 miles. I was highly confused because the person who took my order verified my address and zip code and never said anything about the distance and they allowed me to wait 30 minutes while they made my food before they raised any issue. Their website also mentioned a deliver fee of $1 for delivered under 5 miles which would lead one to believe they deliver beyond 5 miles. I was offered no apology and they offered no solution. It wasn't until I asked if they had prepared my food and started to inquire more about my options that they said I could come pick it up. When I showed up, I wasn't offered an apology or even a discount and I got my food home only to realize they screwed up my order. Unhappy former customer. read more

Ohhhh how sad. Things are soooo bad they've begun using livestock dishes and cheap plastic plates of which you might expect to see at a dollar trees type store. Had I not asked for a plate, I would have been expected to eat off the metal serving plate. The utensils (especially the fork) were soooo flimsy that while attempting to keep the plastic plate from sliding around the table the fork bent.
