Tiramisu made by Heaven
Jay B.

Such an amazing lunch! Real old school Italian comfort food like someone's great grandma made it. Seriously, died and went to heaven. The calamari and shrimp are made from quality seafood and that flavor came through. My husband got the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and Italian sausage and I got Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Probably one of the best we have both had. Don't even get me started on that tiramisu. Did NOT want to share so we got another one. Forrrrggget bout it!!!! Will be back soon!!!!

I usually order from my same, favorite Italian place every time I have a hankering for Italian food. Tonight I wanted to mix it up. You never know what's out there until you try, right? I'm happy to say it was a positive experience! I decided to try a chicken noodle soup and a pasta dish called shrimp Adriatic. The soup was good; nothing super memorable but still tasty. The shrimp Adriatic was delicious! The sauce on the pasta had a great flavor and smooth texture. I enjoyed the feta and black olives sprinkled throughout the dish and the shrimp were large and yummy as well. My boyfriend ordered the Taste of Italy and enjoyed that as well. I will definitely be adding this place to my rotation of restaurants!

Had a craving for some pasta and since I am back in the office working downtown decided to see what I could find and I stumbled upon this gem. I went during peak lunch hours. They weren't terribly busy but there were a few guests getting take out and dine in. When I came in it smelled good so that was a great start! I chose to get the chicken Alfredo lunch. My bill was a little pricey because I added garlic bread. I wish something would come with the pasta like a garlic knot or something because i just can't have pasta and nothing to dip in the sauce lol but oh well. So the Alfredo I have to say is the best I have had anywhere. It wasn't overly salty either. Only thing I added was some pepper because I love black pepper. It was super fresh and creamy! And the sauce to pasta ratio was perfect! Usually places skimp on the Alfredo and then your noodles are dry but not here, I had plenty of sauce! The garlic bread was really good too! It had real chunks of garlic on top and the outside of the bread was crusty and the middle nice and soft. They also threw a little cheese on the garlic bread which gave it a nice touch. The Marinara sauce they give with the garlic bread is phenomenal! Very fresh tasting! Lunch portion was big enough to eat left over for dinner! And the sauce didn't break when I reheated the food! Also for lunch they do have a small lunch buffet that consisted of a salad bar, select pizza, a couple choice pastas, some type of chicken possibly baked I think and some roasted potatoes.

We didn't want red and we had to still order new white even thou we did not try the red

The people here are rude ! And if u order the wrong drink they would not change it ! The service just makes u want to leave !

This restaurant is right across the street from where I work so it's extremely convenient. Every time I go there, the food is delicious, the servers are very friendly, and the price is right. Don't miss the opportunity to go here to grab lunch or dinner.

While out and about I decided I wanted some pasta. Found Fratellis on Yelp and said why not. I called for take out (they are take out only during Orlando's lockdown). The woman answered was very pleasant and patient with me ordering, I can be difficult. Order chicken alfredo dinner, eggplant parm dinner, black mussels appetizer. All dinners came with a side salad. The woman also through in some garlic knots for us. Pricing was average price for Italian food. Food was decent. I would say the eggplant is really thin. I'd go back.

Nothing super special, went there for lunch a after work and ordered buffalo wings and fries. I waited about 15 min for my order for what I got, I was disappointed . Thus I will be giving them another chance but the food was greasy and mediocre.

5/5 -- overall Every…read moresingle dish here is good, no off nights, no "eh, skip that one." Apps, entrees, desserts, it's a clean sweep every visit. The pizza dough alone deserves a shoutout. It's doing that thing where you eat the crust and don't even remember deciding to. Chicken parm and chicken marsala are both savory, perfectly executed, the kind of dishes that make you go quiet mid-bite. Desserts and cakes, chef's kiss, yum across the board. Pasta is properly al dente and the sauces are clearly the main character here, they know exactly what they're doing. Now, real talk: the carpaccio and calamari are best experienced live and in person. Skip the takeout on those two specifically, they need to be fresh off the pass, not riding in a to-go bag losing their magic along the way. Service is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the whole place gives cozy family-restaurant energy, the kind of spot where you feel like a regular by your second visit. Basically: dine in, order everything, thank me later.

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! So glad it's close to my house!

I think sometimes that the lack of service has kept me from eating out much, and then I go to Christinis where the service is too-notch. Great service can make lackluster food taste better but Christinis doesn't have to worry there. Their food is too notch as well. It is old world attentive service, and you can't help but feel special when you go there. Our server this evening was Atilla (sp?) and he has a commanding presence and keeps a close eye on things in an unobtrusive way. It was my birthday and they treated me very well. Okay, let's get to the food. Bread service before the meal was excellent. The bread came with an eggplant sauce that was excellent. They offer butter and olive oil but I say to forego that, and just have the eggplant sauce/dip. We both had the shrimp cocktail, which wasn't the plan. But the shrimp were so large and we hadn't had a shrimp cocktail in a long time, and boy was it good. The shrimp was fresh and as mentioned, very large. We then had a Caesar salad which was good. The cheese was good, but I was surprised that there were no anchovies. We like classic Caesar with anchovies, but the salad was good nonetheless. We split a small portion of the fagottini pasta with pear and Gorgonzola cream sauce. It was the absolute best. It sounds like an odd flavor combo but it works. We both had the veal (their specialty) hubby had the veal picatta. I had the Marsala. Both very good. It came with a polenta fritter that was good, I'm not sure what was inside, it had a nice flavor, maybe pimentos? Even though tiramisu or crème brûlée is usually my go to if having dessert, we went for cannolis for a "lighter" option. Very good as well. The last one the list is ambiance. Beautiful tables, classy elegant restaurant, and tuxedoed waitstaff. Excellent!

For our selections, we got the fried mozzarella and fried calamari to start. We moved on to the beef medallions, chicken parm, lasagna, and lobster carbonara. Each bite was better than the previous. Our servers, Leslie and Alex were great! Leslie has the personality you pray for when you're celebrating a special occasion. We were blessed to have her. My only complaint, and this was super minor, the table space was tight. We had a party of 7 and it felt like we were stacked on top of the other tables. A couple of trips to the bathroom for the kids felt like a task. Once seated, we were fine, but the endless "excuse me's" was inconvenient. Overall, I'm glad we spent the afternoon at Maggiano's. I selected the pesto and mortadella because I have never seen mortadella on a pizza outside of my Italy vacation so... lord help me it was delicious. This combo of ingredients was perfection. This was my first time at Tratto and I already have made plans to return. My plans include trying another new-to-me pizza combination but no promises. I might get the pesto and mortadella on repeat for the foreseeable future. The pizzas can be ordered in Thin crust or Detroit style. I ordered my pizza as thin crust which was exceptional and my dining partner ordered a Detroit style with pepperoni and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. This restaurant accepts reservations. The service was attentive and efficient. Now...the Detroit-style pizza?? Where has this been all my life? We got the Spicy Pepperoni and I'm still thinking about it. The combo of crispy edges, fluffy crust, hot honey, and goat cheese was unreal. At this point, I feel like I need to book a trip to Detroit just to compare lol. We also tried the cheese wheel pasta--flavor-wise it was just okay for me, but the tableside presentation was definitely the highlight. It's one of those dishes you order more for the experience than the taste. Paired everything with a bottle of prosecco, which made the whole night feel a little extra and very much needed. And shoutout to Zack--he was a great waiter. Attentive, friendly, and really helped make the experience smooth from start to finish. Overall, great vibes, solid food, and a fun dining experience. The Piccante Dolce was light and very balanced. As our mains, I ordered the Duck and Foie Gras Mezzaluna (mind you i'm typically a mustard spaghetti girl) and was VERY surprised! Prior to ordering, my colleague had asked our server about another menu item and the type of meat that was in the sauce because she cannot eat pork. It was clear that he was not very sure. For it not being very busy and most people dining in were on a lunch break, the food took quite a while to come out. We received the carpaccio first - it was very tasty and we both enjoyed it. When we received the garlic knot sliders, they looked amazing. It comes with 3 sliders and a side of fries. Once we began eating the sliders, my friend noticed that there was crispy prosciutto (aka pork) on them. This was not listed on the menu or mentioned by our server. Many people don't eat pork (for personal or religious reasons), so that ingredient really should be disclosed on the menu. Our server was apologetic and mentioned that they had just updated their menu so this must have been an oversight. Sadly, my friend did not have enough time left in her lunch break at this point to wait for something else to come out. I personally did enjoy the sliders and took the leftovers home. I also ordered the cacio e pepe pizza to-go to have for dinner later, and it was also very good. Besides that hiccup, overall the food was good and I would go back to try more menu items.
