My family has been going to Bella Italian for years. The food is always delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. The pizza is full of flavor, with a great crust and quality ingredients. They have a full menu of homemade dishes. What really stood out, though, was the owner. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in her business. She is always friendly, welcoming, and made us feel like more than just customers. That personal touch makes a big difference. While it is easy to just pass by this place if you are not looking for it, do not do that, because Bella Italian Eatery is a hidden gem! While this place may be situated in a small building with a smaller parking lot, it has some excellent Italian food. This starts with their Garlic Knots, which are delectable. Then, there are their entrees. I got the Chicken Parmigiana, while my brother got the Fettuccine Alfredo. We enjoyed both of our meals, and my Chicken Parmigiana was so large, I had enough to eat in the morning! And the prices were reasonable for the area. I am so torn by this place. I had the margarita pizza and cheese pie delivered a week ago and we all loved it. I saw on their menu that they make this own cheese and breads and also had a deli so I decided to pay the place a visit a week later and also try one of their dishes. I decided to order a pizza and an eggplant parmigiana dinner. I was told on the phone it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes after I ordered as instructed and walked into the restaurant. There were 3-4 people working there and they were very busy even though it was 8:30PM on a weekday. The people were running around preparing the meals and customers were inside waiting to pickup. I was shocked by the way the place looked. I hate to be negative but this place was in disarray with "stuff" just thrown everywhere and it looked like it hasn't been taken care of or cleaned in a long time. They had a box of disposable masks in the counter and were selling them for $1.50 each. There were boxes of cigarettes stacked up for sale and other things you may find in a convenience store. I only wish I never made a visit there and just stuck with delivery :(. read more

I wish I had been able to take a pic of the pizza! I brought it over to my friends house, and as SOON as I put it on the counter, it was annihilated...lol. My friend and I kept seeing pizzas posted in a local FB group from here and we had never been. Ordered the Grandma Pizza with garlic knots. The staff/owners were very pleasant. As I was waiting for them to get my pizza they asked me if I have ever been before. I told her I have not and asked me how I heard of it. I told her from one of the FB groups. They gave me my pizza and a little treat of zeppole's, which was very nice. Even after about a 15 minute drive, the pizza held its crisp. When we opened the box we were like that is a lot of pizza, but it quickly disappeared! I thought the sauce was very good...just enough sweetness without being too sweet. Good amount of cheese and the garlic from the garlic knots infused into the pizza/sauce. Overall great pizza and will definitely be back. And the zeppole's were a great little sweet treat to finish the meal. read more

We have ordered several different items for delivery several times and they're a bit unorganized and it drives me nuts- we ordered 4 entree pasta dishes all came with salad and no salads were delivered- all the pasta dishes were delicious. Another time we ordered several pizzas and were told that they had fresh mushrooms for their pizza toppings and the pizzas were delivered with jarred/canned rubbery mushrooms and the whole pizza tasted like the juice that they were canned in YUCK! I just don't get why they lied? And yes it was a young teen sounding person but he asked his female boss and was told that they were fresh mushrooms. All their pasta dishes are delicious that we've tried (manicotti, lasagna, sausage & broccoli in garlic butter, veal parmigiana) I also love their roasted long hots which I buy by the pound! The pizzas are just so so I'm not a fan of their sauce and of course the mushroom issue...so there's room for improvement - make sure the delivery driver has the complete order before going out to deliver -use fresh mushrooms -work on that sauce read more

This was a really bad experience. I ordered delivery at 557pm. 718pm, I was calling to find out what was taking so long. They told me on the way. Fortunately, got my food at 742pm. Kind of sketchy since there right around the corner. Smh!! Then, at best food was luke warm. Considering this place closed once already, they should just close all together and find other careers. Maybe hiring better delivery drivers with common sense might help. read more

Excellent! We stopped in one day as we were passing by (before Covid) and my son enjoyed 2 slices. We began to order for delivery various pies and salads over the past year. My husband loves the Grandma Pie with Pepperoni. He orders it at least once a month and it never disappoints! He freezes the extra slices for himself. I noticed the salads are sometimes inconsistent, so I confirm the ingredients upon ordering since I'm Gluten Free. The Gluten Free Pizza is pretty good as well. Move over Iccara's, there is a new Sheriff in town. Just had the Grandma's Pie from here...it was great! Similar to a sicilian but thinner and crispier. My grandparents live right up the street so they eat here quite often and they suggested we order from here tonight; so glad we did. She takes a portion of her delivery driver's tips claiming that Grubhub charges her an advertisement fee, along with claiming she has to pay insurance for her delivery drivers. As a restaurant owner, taking a portion of any of your workers tips is extremely distasteful. Prices are also insanely high for sub-par food. read more

The Grandma pizza is usually amazing, and the eggplant rollatini used to be phenomenal. It's still tasty but not the way it used to be. Sometimes the delivered food is cold because we don't live in a development and are just a minute or two outside town, so we always have to turn on our oven to prepare for reheating it while we're waiting for the delivery. read more

After reading great things, I finally tried Bella. My first order was okay. The chicken cheesesteak was great with a lot of meat, but they added cheese which I specifically requested not to have. The veal was very tough. The pizza was good! I gave them another try tonight and the fries and chicken fingers were cooked in old oil. They could have been good, but the taste of unchanged oil made it uneatable. The chicken steak came without cheese this time, but it was so greasy I could not eat it. Never have I had a steak sandwich that was more greasy than deep fried food. Overall, anything other than the pizza is terrible. I'm sorry to say this, as I like to promote local businesses, but the food is expensive for a pizza place and after two tries I am much less than satisfied. read more

Not only was the food not good but the delivery driver called 6 times(which I didn't see cause my phone wasn't next to me) because he didn't want to walk up stairs and then had who I assume is the owner of sorts call and leave a msg to go down to get the food. My husband and I are frequent customers to this cute and cozy restaurant located in the heart of Groveville. The chef and owner is personable, sweet, and extremely talented. It feels like being in mom's kitchen whenever you visit and eat the food. Coming from an Italian household full of good cooks, this is the only Italian restaurant in the area we will go to!! This place isn't what we were expecting but the food and service were phenomenal. Really more of a take out type place but there are a few tables to dine in at so we did. Incredibly friendly service. We ordered a margherita pizza as an app--delicious. My friend got chicken marsala and another friend and I each got the chicken and sausage scarpariello. Again, nothing short of delicious. As full as we all were, we also got dessert. We shared a cannoli and tiramisu. Soooo good. Definitely some of the best tiramisu I've ever had and the cannoli was amazing. And they threw in a few zeppoli for us....again, amazing! Seriously, the desserts were on point. Food well priced. Service friendly, helpful, and speedy. It was all in all a great dining experience. Pizza was burnt and toppings were either from a can or were frozen or both, not to mention expensive. Wow, I don't usually have bad things to say about pizza, but this was bad. Really bad. My son introduced me to this wonderful eatery and I can't say enough about the owner, her staff and the food. She treats you like family and everything is so delicious that it's hard to choose what to order. The pizza rustica is over the top, the ravioli with meat sauce is to die for, the bread is made by them and the bruscetti is divine. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what you order. It's a small little restaurant and they do deliver and the prices are very reasonable. They offer espresso and many other drinks, desserts and much more. I would lean more to a 2.5 star review. Pizza was good, but that's it. Nothing special and I wasnt too fond of the sauce. Had a plain cheesesteak from here. It was good but definitely not worth $10.99 +tax. That was just ridiculous as it is the same size cheesesteak you can buy at any local pizza place near them for around $7-$8+ tax. I ordered the 2 large plain pizza special that was $21.95. The guy ringing me up was telling me that there is no special and that each pizza was $13.95. I than told him I just asked on Facebook right before I made this order and someone from here who answers the page said yes. That the 2 large plain special is still running for $21.95. As well as when I called and specifically said I want to order the 2 large plain pizza special. He than said, oh and rang me up for the price. I asked about the sign they had posted there. It said to check in on Facebook and Instagram was the other if I remember correctly, that you get a free order of zeppolis. He said yes if you do you get a free order. This place is awesome. I was looking online for a pizza restaurant that sold good cheese steaks and also delivered on sundays. I live in Hamilton NJ and they actually delivered to my home. I thought it would have been too far for them to travel but, they did. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, a plain steak, and 2 slices with extra cheese. The steaks sandwich are one of the best we've tasted compared to other places we went to in NJ. The bread they used was the best. Everybody tends to use the soft roll, almost like eating a slice of loaf bread, but not Bella's, it was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. It was just the best sandwich ever. My husband said the pizza slices were good, but he wouldn't get it with extra cheese the next time because it was too cheesy. It's not Bella's fault;, it goes to show they put a good amount of cheese on it already. I personally don't like extra cheese because it weighs the crust down and I like it crispy. Delivery was also quick and food delivered hot. This is now one of my favorite restaurants to go to and will try their other foods as well the next time. read more
