DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR $$$! As a loyal customer of Bella Lani, I am deeply saddened to be writing this review. I have been coming to BL regularly since moving to Tradition in early 2025. On the rare occasion when I knew I would be late (traffic, drive thru lane hold up, these things happen, but it was only once or twice), I have ALWAYS called to ask if they can still take me or if I should reschedule. Last weekend I was running ~ 10 minutes late due to excessive traffic from TWO different accidents. I called the salon 3 times on my way to let them know I was still coming, but no one answered the phone. I had a special event Sat evening and had booked multiple services. Had they answered the phone, I would have told them I would gladly have paid for everything I had scheduled, even if they did not have time to complete all of them. I just didn't want to lose my spot. When I arrived 11 minutes past my start time, I found they had already given away my appointment. As a polite, courteous, loyal customer (not to mention EXCELLENT tipper!), they did not even have the courtesy to call me to check if I was on my way, or worse - that something may have happened to me. THESE WOMEN KNOW ME! I was truly shocked and beyond disappointed. I left (without a scene, not my style), waited 10 mins and then called to speak to the manager. I told her how upset I was and that as a long standing client I expected better than what I got that morning. When I finished speaking, I stopped and waited for her response ... SILENCE, NOTHING! I even said "are you still there?". To which she replied "yes, I'm here" and that was it. No apology, no "I'm sorry for your experience today" absolutely no attempt to save the customer relationship. She could not have cared less! It was at that point I told her I would not be coming back and to let her manicurist know she had lost a good customer that day, not through any fault of hers, but solely because of the management. If you value professionalism and good customer service, do not give your business to these women. Clearly, all they care about is money, definitely not loyalty! read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Bella Lani was disappointing enough that I feel it's necessary to share. As a courtesy, I booked my appointment online about two weeks in advance and paid the required $25 deposit. Between that time and the appointment, I ended up getting my nails done elsewhere, but still wanted to honor the appointment by switching the service to a pedicure and brow waxing instead. I even took the extra step of stopping by the salon in person to explain the change. The woman at the front, who I assume is one of the owners, was not particularly friendly but said the deposit would be transferred and adjusted accordingly. She even rescheduled my appointment to an earlier date. Fast-forward to the day of my appointment--less than 48 hours later and when I walked in, the same woman didn't recognize me at all. It felt awkward, especially considering we had just spoken. After the services were done, I went to check out and was told the $25 deposit did not apply to my service. She said it was simply to "hold the appointment." That was shocking to me, this is a walk-in-style salon, not a high-demand spa with limited booking availability. Why would I pay $25 just to hold an appointment that I showed up for? To me, this felt misleading and frankly unacceptable. I really wanted to love this place, but there are a few concerns. 1. Price: I paid $80 before tip for a full set gel manicure. I asked for French tips and was told that was $10 extra. The gel x was $55 so I expected to pay $65. Imagine my surprise when I was told $80. The reason... gel nail polish I never asked for or picked. If I knew I could have added color I would have, but to charge $15 for the pink part of the French manicure is deceptive. They should advise customers the cost is $25. 2. I also ways tip 20%. So look at my nails and decide if you would pay $96 for them. For that price they should be perfect even and filed. 3. The staff was friendly, but I can't recommend. I have been coming to Bella Lani over a year now and still love the Techs, Services, and the Salon. I currently use Apres Gel-X for my nails. I always use Lisa for my nail appointments. She listens to my requests and gets it right every single time! She does a great job at nail designs. She is efficient and precise. She is one tough chic but usually has me laughing with her stories. Pedicures, I love May or Brittney. They are both amazing! You leave their chair feeling pampered and refreshed. That corner of the salon, ALWAYS laughing going on. (but are quiet if that is the vibe you desire) Overall, this is THE Salon to be at. They offer numerous services. The salon is always clean. Everyone is friendly. read more

Beware ... I was overcharged for am acrylic fill. The booking app shows $35 and was charged$60. Needed 1 repair but$60 was over the top. Told me its extra for gel polish with an acrylic fill. I have never been charged extra unless itwas on my toenails. The interior of this salon is really pretty and the girl who works at the front desk is super nice. With that being said, my manicure wasn't good. First of all, this girl barely acknowledged me. She made 0 effort to communicate with me or make eye contact. Ok, whatever. The whole experience felt super rushed. From the moment I sat down until the moment I left was approximately 20 minutes. She basically filed my nails and painted them. There was no hand soak, massage, cuticle clean up, etc. Fast forward 2 days and my nails are already chipping. I paid an extra $10 for flowers and different colors so between the bill and the tip, I paid $50. I just feel that, for $50, it would've been nice to have gel nail polish that lasted more than 2 days, or even just like, a relaxing afternoon at the salon. I use to be such a fan of coming here. My nail tech moved away and they lied to me multiple times and let me make appointments online thinking it would be with her. Once I made an appointment with a new nail tech, she tried to blame me and shorten my service when it was her fault that she started me late. I made another appointment online thinking I'd give her a second chance, and I tried to call online at least 5 times to reschedule it due to a work emergency and no one ever picked up and I couldn't edit it online. Very pricey-if you wanted nicer supplies you pay 50 for the pedicure and then 25 more for gel and 12 more if you want parrafin. A whooping 87 for the pedicure! Wax was diluted so it didn't harden and you don't get extra massage or oil with it so I wouldn't recommend. The price for gel is the highest I have ever paid. The massage seat didn't work and they don't even offer you a water. The woman who did my feet was the best part of the experience. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it! A few months back, Bella Lani moved to a new location within Tradition Square. The old salon was a decent size and structure, but the new location is AMAZING! It's a high class and chic type feel but for moderate prices. There are chandeliers, a blow out station to get your hair done, a room for eyebrow waxing and the chairs with the small tub to put your feet in are different than any other salon. It's like sitting in your own personal sofa with a back massage. As for the staff - they are so friendly and personable. I usually ask for Mae, Abby or Daisy to do my mani and pedi. They are really thorough and quick, while doing a clean job. It's nice to have a conversation and laugh while getting my nails done. I don't do fake nails like acrylic or gel, so I can't give a critique on that; however I usually get a basic manicure and pedicure, which is relaxing. You start with your toes, where you get your toenails cut, cuticles pushed down, legs scrubbed and then lotion is applied. For the fingernails, the same follows. I recommend getting gel nail polish if you don't want to do fake nails. I recently tried it and it lasts for 2 weeks!!! When has regular nail polish lasted for two weeks if it's not fake! The only cons to this is that you choose a nail polish color for your fingernails, but then have to choose a similar color for the toes (since the toes are not gel nail polish). Sometimes the colors are a little off but the people at the salon try to find the most similar color. Also, to take off the nail polish, you either have to come in and have them remove it for $5 or you have to remove it yourself with acetone and foil (Google it). The price for the gel nail polish is $25 (kind of pricey but well worth it). Overall, the experience and service is wonderful so if you're looking for a nail salon, give this one a shot! read more

Let me start with the owner Stephanie who acts as a receptionist. On a good day the best she can manage is being rude! My nail technician who will remain nameless is very rough, consistently cuts me, and, I have just come back from the podiatrist with an infected toenail which is going to fall off. I get gel on my nails as well as shellac. Consistently every time I have chips and crack. I just called to get yet two more nail repairs after having two done over the weekend. I have been asked not to come back to their Salon as when I booked a repair, I was pawned off on someone other than my regular technician who did not speak English and attempted to use different products what are on my nails. I was told I caused the a scene, and didn't create good energy in their salon. Stay away from this place they are rude and don't treat their customers with any respect! read more

The nail specialist was nice and did a good job. However, when I checked out I was charged for a gel manicure, pedicure and a charge for soaking my old gel manicure off. I was caught off guard that they charged me to take the gel polish off. I have NEVER been charged a fee to remove the old gel polish when getting a gel manicure. I totally understand a charge if I just wanted them removed but not when getting a manicure. I WILL NOT be going back. Couple months ago: Lily did a great job on my pedicure and eyebrows. I will definitely be back again. March 2018 Had another tech do my gel manicure and pedicure and it started chipping the following day. Went back and had her correct, without charge, only to have it start chipping again. I am really not happy with the way they look. They are uneven and paid over $60 for them. I'm gonna make sure I see another tech. She makes you feel more than unwelcome, and barks orders at all the technicians like she owns them. Overheard a couple of the nail techs talking so poorly about some of their very own customers!! It's a very judgy atmosphere with mostly older/elderly customers. Also, don't think about bringing kids of any age or even an extra adult waiting for you, they will kick you and your party straight out. There is no "family run" anything about this salon. The only reason I'm even giving this place a star is because the woman who did my pedicure was lovely and did a great job. Now for the realness... WORST MANICURE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! Just like other reviews say: The girl at the front desk is rude beyond reason. I stood there waiting to be acknowledged until she finished texting her lunch order. She actually told me that's what she was doing. The woman who did my nails, from what I gathered, might have actually been the owner. (Kristi? Not sure on the spelling.) When I gave her the number of the color I picked out she tried to tell me she didn't have that number. So I showed her the picture I took of it and then found it on the sample ring they had. It was another customer who told her which tech had the pot of color I wanted. Not a big deal I thought at the time. I get a nexgen/dip powder manicure ever few weeks for the last 4-5 years so I think I know how it's supposed to work, right? Instead of soaking my nails off, she began prying off one of my nails that already had a break in it. She actually ripped my natural nail deep enough that I started bleeding. I didn't realize how badly it was bleeding because she quickly covered it with nail glue and put a tip on it! Then put more glue on that. It wasn't until blood was coming down the back side of the tip she had put on that I realized it was so bad. Now I'm terrified I'll get an infection. She then drilled down the rest of my nails but left the old nexgen on. When I asked if it was their practice to not soak off old polish she said no, not if my previous color was light enough to not be seen under my new color and that my nails were so thin it'd be better this way. WTF?? I was scared so I just said whatever and carried on. I needed my nails done for my 30th birthday and didn't know where else to go because I don't live here. She had such an attitude and totally rushed me so that she could give my color to another technician. Keep in mind that she dipped my bloody, glued up finger in that jar of color over and over again!!! At one point she was complaining about some woman on the phone that morning who was bossing her around trying to tell her how to run her business. So I just shut my mouth and got out of there as fast as I could. I looked for her license to be posted somewhere but didn't see it. Everyone else had theirs on the front of their station. What I did see posted was the itty bitty sign that says they only take tips in cash or check. Thank goodness I had cash for the woman who did my pedicure. Who knows if she'll get it because that lady at the front didn't even say anything to me. I was in tears by the time I got into my car. I thank God that I don't live here and was just visiting family. When I got home I had to clean the blood out from under my finger as best I could. Some is stilled glued under there and it hurts every time I have to use my index finger. What a great way to celebrate the new year and my 30th birthday. read more
