Their scheduling was not good. They sent several people home to reschedule them for the following day due to overbooking. He did not follow the design I asked for. I wanted it in pink, but he gave me black. When asked if I liked it I said that he did one hand better than the other and he chuckles. Very respectable nail place. Owner is also the owner of another salon in the area and enjoys hearing feedback on her salons so that she can improve. You can tell she takes pride in her work. I didn't get a manicure from her but my mother did and she loved it. I had my nails done in a French fade type of style with a round shape. I communicated with my nail tech about how I wanted more pink than white and that I wanted the shape very round. She did what she could to accommodate my requests - even going through multiple powders to find an appropriate shade that matched what I was looking for. No lifting or issues and lasted for 5 weeks when I decided to get them done again. read more

I scheduled an appointment a day before I was due to get my nails done, then when I got there I showed the guy up front the photo of the nails I wanted he gave me the price he said it was about $80 and I said that's fine he made it seem as if it was a problem that it was $80 like I couldn't afford to pay that amount but that's not the biggest problem the problem is he went to his computer then proceeded to say that the professional nail lady is all booked which make's absolutely no sense because he already booked my nail apt for the exact time I arrived I do not recommend going here. read more

One of the ladies there cut my finger repeatedly and tried to hide the bleeding from me. In my quest for good nail salons in Port St. Lucie I accidentally found this place, and I am totally sold. I had a mediocre experience with another salon in the city, and wasn't expecting much when i came here. First, Ty was very quick, but very good with the refill and polish change I came in for. He was friendly and made conversations. The shape of my nails in exactly how I like it, they are thick enough to be strong, but thin enough that they look natural. I do wish they had a bigger gel color range, but with what they do have you can get a good manicure. This place is clean, modern, and worth it! I have found my forever go to nail salon! For the last few years I kept going to the same place- a place that overcharged and I was continuously unhappy with my results. A friend of mine suggested I go see Brandi at Exotic Nails. I was hesitant but now I am kicking myself for not going sooner!! First off- the place is gorgeous! If I could put negative stars I would. Everytime I have gone the work is always rushed and sloppy. I really tried giving them multiple chances after being disappointed time again. Last time I did acrylics they were thick and the paint was clumpy and messy. And simple French tip design is too complicated for them, as it took many tries. Four days later a nail cracked completely off. I went to get it fixed and it was again horribly done, even after many times telling to fix the lines. Then the manager started accusing me of lying about how the nail fell off, saying I'm not making sense and being unreasonable. The customer service is very unprofessional. read more

I just came in from out of town and a nail broke. I have a gel on my nails and part of it came off when the nail broke. I just had my nails done at my home salon in Missouri. I called Exotic Nails and they had the color after seeing the good reviews. I headed that way and when I got there, they were BUSY! I waited about 15 min and the owner got me in. He redid my nail that was cracked/peeled with the color I had on my other nails. It looks amazing! Very nice staff, very clean, and would make this my salon if I lived here in PSL. Update: I've frequented here several times now. My first time (see previous post below) was really good. But I've been 4 times since and it has not held up to the first time. My second time with a pedicure i was left with a nail clipped too far back on the side and resulted in an ingrown nail that i had to work out myself until it grew back properly. With Most recently having a healthy nail that was done and left bumpy, uneven, and started breaking within a few days. The salon itself is nice and appealing but just didn't hold up to what I originally had thought. Original post: Recently moved to PSL and finally wanted to stop my long drives to my other salon. So after browsing around, i found this place and man, for my first visit, i was very pleased and will be returning for my next pedicure. The place itself was very clean when i entered and i was greeted right away. They have a wide choice of colors when it comes to the normal polish. And i saw several shelves full of other (assuming gel and dip) options as well. They also had a lot of different pedicure packages as well, and all priced normally (basic starting at $30). The girl who did my pedicure was super friendly and carried a casual conversation. Definitely coming back to try out the mani options. read more

Well... For starters, the customer service provided by the worker on the left side and his wife are awful. I've gone to this shop maybe twice trying to give it a try a third time and it's terrible. I'm very disappointed that this has been my experience. I walked in behind a couple who asked for pedicures as a walk-in and the male running the place told them... "Sorry, can't take you." So, I politely walked in behind them and asked about how long would it be before someone would open up. He proceeded to say "don't know" you'll have to go somewhere else. I repeated my question... "Are you unable to give people an approximate time?" He proceeded to ignore me to the point where another customer intervened and said, "It may be a couple of hours." I got my nails (healthy nails) done there on Wednesday morning. By mid day Wednesday two of my nails have chips at the corners. By Thursday to nails had popped off all together and chipped and cracked right down the middle. By Friday I only had two nails left. They were super friendly and a great selection of color, but the quality of the work was not up to par. I went there in a pinch because I was in the area, but needless to say I will not be going back there. read more

Ok this was the last horrible experience I'll ever have at this salon, never mind the few other shitty experiences I've had with there rude employees but today was the cherry on top. Me and my bestfriend went in the other day to get our nails done for her wedding, I called and made an appointment AHEAD of time as well as let the girl know it was for a special occasion my friend is getting married! So we show up and right away the woman was rude to my friend, was super rough and rude to her, (mind you she's the bride and they were made aware) eventually I had to ask the only white girl working that night, please can you help my friend that lady is giving her a hard time yelling at her and smacking her lips telling her she has to pick a color besides white to go with a French manicure ...... when her nails were done it literally looked like they glued the tips on her fingers and just painted them. Sadly she had her wedding and honey moon right after so she couldn't go back to get hers fixed. On the other hand I DID, so here's the kicker. I called ahead explained my situation to the girl on the phone and she was super sweet and explained Andy - the only guy that worked there - was the one that did my nails and he had to be the one to fix them if I wanted them corrected free of charge NO PROBLEM ( I already had 1 nail fall off and the others looked and were done crappy.) so I get there at 5 and the other guy that works there right away was rude to me telling me why am I fixing all your nails?! tells me after him conversing with his coworker "fine but you'll have to wait " even though I already called the girl said she'll make her team aware and it was no issue. then the woman who was rude to my friend (the bride) was the one who was asked to foil my nails- she slammed her stuff down when she was done and then threw herself in a pedicure chair to lay back and play on her phone... (rude) so then Andy that is supposed to be fixing my nails comes over to me throws a color panel in front of me and says "pick a color " and walks away.... so at this point I'm already so mad I can't see straight with how there treating me after they were the ones that messed up my nails in the first place for $55 I'm sorry but it hasn't even been a week I'm going to demand my nails redone. So then the guy sitting up front yells across the salon to me "NEXT TIME YOU COME IN 3 days or don't come you can't come week later " as I replied I was only there today cause that was the only day Andy had available your worker scheduled me for that day and that time.... so I continue to sit there and after waiting close to 25 minutes I realize another woman had walked in and Andy instead just started to set up and do her pedicure... while I'm just sitting there with foil on my hands... probably ruining my nails cause I barely had anything left after the woman had already drilled them before foiling and he blatantly did not care it was almost as if they were punishing me for coming back and wanting them redone?!!!! So not only did My nails get done half ass for $55 but then I was supposed to sit there and let them treat me like shit AGAIN. The wait and everything was okay but the guy who did my nails didn't cut my cuticles at all so they look grown out. He did not ask for my shape and got an attitude when i asked him to shape my thumb thinner and told me it was too late to do my shape even before he put the polish on. The girls were really nice and funny so I feel kinda bad leaving a bad review.... Anyway. I got there and said I wanted a fill and a pedi. I waited a few minutes but they got me in pretty quickly. Pedicure wasn't bad, no complaints. After the pedicure I had to remind them I also wanted a fill. I waited at least 30 minutes, hoping it would be worth the wait. Finally they got me in. I want to say I waited almost a full hour, but at that point it was 7pm and I was in desperate need for a fill and had already gotten the pedicure so figured I would keep calm and ride it out despite my inpatient instincts. I guess maybe I have thin nails said the girl doing my fill, which I agree I do have thin nails, but the grinder thing they use kept burning my nail. Numerous times. She knew it was hurting me and felt bad, but it still kept happening, which is the absolute worst feeling. The burn must have been sort of bad because it hurt so bad when she painted on top of it, and the light hurt. Every layer of polish was painful. My nails we awesome. I picked good colors, but the edges were so sharp at first I couldn't take out my contacts. When I tried to touch my boyfriend I was stabbing him. And lots of little air bubbles popped up after I left the salon, which definitely weren't cute. So even though the girls tried to be friendly and nice, overall it was a bad experience, and it was more expensive than other nearby salons. I don't think I'll be back. read more
