came in for eyelash extensions with my best friend, we were so happy and absolutely loved them! The lady took her time & it ended up being $50 for the set we wanted and we both tipped her $15 ($30 for both) because of how good she did! They kept bothering our eyes as we left and hurting every time we blinked. We didn't touch them because the lady said not to even though they were uncomfortable but we still loved them! We didn't get them wet, put mascara, or do anything to them. Two days later BOTH of us, had our eyelashes come off completely on one eye. It was around 10 at night when mine came off and hers came off the following morning. They don't open until 9, and i had school at 7, therefor i was late to class because i couldn't go with half an eye with no eyelash look. I go to the salon when they open explaining what happen and how it suppose to last up to 1 week or even 3 if u really take care of them. I then begin to explain how it was 2 days and i want a refund and if i could talk to the manager. She said she'd fix them or take them off for free but that's it, i got them removed. She begins why to ask why i'm getting them removed. Well, because i don't want to come here every 2 days for a fix. I hate to leave a bad review, but I have to say this is one of the worst Mani/Pedi's I have had! All the women working in the salon were so sweet, and looked like they knew what they were doing, but as my luck would have it, I got the man. My daughter brought me here on my birthday for a day of pampering, so we sat next to each other for our pedi's. We chose the exact same treatment, and she received a longer massage session, with rocks on her feet...me NOTHING!! When it came to the polish, she had done a solid darker color with polka dots, it looks adorable, so I asked for the same. Even though she was sitting right there, and we explained, and showed him what I wanted, he still didn't understand, and started to paint all my toes white...we stopped him, and then the dots looked terrible, and had to be redone. When it came to my gel manicure, it was pretty much the same story. He didn't really know what he was doing, and when I pointed out that one of my nails was jagged, and needed to be filed, he filed on the wrong section of my nail, and I walked out with a jagged nail. It is now ten days later, and the polish is chipping, and looks awful. If you are going here for services, avoid the man for service. read more

It is a nice, new, clean salon. Kelly was fantastic. We were walk in customers. I had a pedicure and manicure and would have given them 5 stars... except that the girl (don't know her name) that did my daughter's pedicure and manicure was horrible. She was flat out rude to us. Kelly tried to explain to us that she was having family problems. I don't care what her problems are - just wanted to have a nice afternoon with my daughter and that didn't happen. Would recommend Kelly again and would return...but will never have that other girl touch any of us. Perhaps a day off for her family problems would have been a better idea then putting my daughter through that. read more

My experience was horrible! I went in to remove an old set of lashes and get a new set. The owner was the person who helped me. She was rough and rude. She didn't tape down my bottom lashes and she kept gluing them to my top lashes. She would then put solution to pull them apart which burned and irritated my eyes. She kept doing this the entire time over and over. She didn't even place them properly. When she was done it was hard for me to keep my eyes open, come to find out it was because she put glue inside my eyelid! She worked on me for an hour and a half. Wen I told her what I thought was bothering my eyes she got mad and was rude! She didn't seem to know what she was doing! read more

Waited 45 minutes to get my nails done. Then they called me to a seat and told me to wait again. While I waited people who had appointments didn't get taken care of either. I came with two friends, they both got awful pedicures. The three of us wanted gel manicures but by time I was called to wait more we decided against it. I went today needing a quick polish change instead of a full pedicure because I just got a pedicure, but I was at the beach over the weekend and some of my toenails had chipped. I walked in asking for a polish change and was told to sit down in chair number 1. Then, I sat for 15 minutes while no one helped me. The man who told me to sit there sat on his phone for those 15 minutes ignoring the fact that I wasn't being helped. Another lady who walked in 15 minutes after me that asked for a pedicure was immediately helped and given a technician to take care of her. I've been getting my nails done for quite some time now and know what a good salon and service looks like, but the service was awful and I won't be back. read more

This review is more about one technician, although he doesn't even deserve to be called that...Phillip at Bella nails has to be the worst person I have ever had do my nails. He did my nails twice, the first time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he just was running a little slow. My second appointment, have mercy....an HOUR AND A HALF LATER, and I hadn't even been polished yet. I paid and left. Polished my own nails when I got home. I overheard someone next to me complaining about a bad job they had gotten from someone else in that salon and they were having someone else fix the problem. I have no complaint about the way my mani-pedi was done, HOWEVER, I was very upset because I had a gift certificate and they would NOT honor it. There was no expiration date on it but they said when they bought Bella Nails from previous owners, they were NOT paid. I had a valid gift certificate. It is NOT the way to do business and I noticed the place was NOT very busy the way it used to be, so perhaps they should learn to honor valid gift certificates. Instead of returning once a month, I will now go to ANOTHER place as there are certainly many to choose from. Bad customer service and business practices peoples. Kelly and her staff always try to accommodate. The salon is new, clean, and most often quiet. The prices are lower than most in the area, so that is a plus. Hi - I have known the new owners, Wendy and Henry for over 20 years - I have followed Wendy as she has been the best for my nails and pedicure for that long and then some - they are clean, affordable, kind, experienced and quick besides. This place needs to learn how to properly schedule appointments and value their regular clients!!!! They assume (whether you have a scheduled appointment or not with a particular manicurist) that it is okay for them to take whoever happens to walk-in before you and then expect you to go to whatever manicurist is not busy, instead of the one you have the appointment with! This is NOT okay when you have an appointment with someone whom you are a regular with!!!! My review is to mainly gain attention from the owner of this place. My two sisters and I went in for a spa day on Sunday. We were all getting the deluxe packages, and at the start of my sisters pedicure he starts filing down her toe nails to the root. Making her very uncomfortable, and on top of that he starts to say these exact words "you should go to the gym, do more cardio, and you need less calorie and carb intake". Mind you, he has gotten up 4 times doing god knows what while she just sits in the chair. My sister then surprisingly asks, "are you taking to me" feeling very offended and even more uncomfortable. She is trying to keep a smile on her face but then starts to tear up, and says "he just called me fat". I'm shocked and very upset for my sister. At the end, I ask Philip who is the owner I would like to make a formal complaint against Michael. They would not give me that information. I then, asked where his pedicure license was because I will make a formal complaint. Michael, turns around and says is she upset because I filed her toenails too short? I didn't want to make a scene but he insisted to, so I told him he was very rude and inappropriate, and this man has the nerve to agree and say "I'm concerned about her weight". I say to Michael and Philip (who is the "manager") we are reporting him and I want to see your license. Philip is acting like he doesn't understand a word of what I'm saying, and the other gal confirmed he does not have a valid California license because he just moved here, and we can't give you the owners information because we could all get in trouble. We paid for the service, after being apologized to and we will be reporting this! What a horrible way to run a business. read more
