That was around the time when the nail tech walked over to me for the first time to ask if I had chosen a color, not when my feet were in the water or when I was receiving the service, as I stated. She also walked away after the initial contact and returned a couple times, throwing supplies on her cart before proceeding. Regardless of that, my Zelle payment for tip was also confirmed at 6:54pm. So I do want to acknowledge that my time there was about an hour and a half total from my arrival/ appointment time. There was also not a "light residue" of the scrub left, there was literal exfoliating pieces/ beads and cream that I was able to scrape off my leg with my fingernail. There is no need to note my preferences as I will not be going back. If I had known that later appointments were known to be thrown off schedule, I would've just showed up late so I didn't have to wait. There was no update or follow up. While I understand it is the business owners responsibility to ensure all reviews are accurate, the repeated attempt to disprove what I stated was unnecessary when the issue still stands: my appointment time was not honored, i had literal pieces of scrub and gel on my leg, and someone used a cuticle cutter to PULL pieces of my toenail off without asking me. I understand these services are a luxury; I would not come in expecting to be waited on but I do expect basic communication and respect. The service and response were both disappointing.

I got a standard regular polish and it looked great. No massage with the pedi. (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. This salon is very close to me, so I've been going here to get my nails done and a few pedicures. The service is really inconsistent. Johnny is amazing. He's fast, and down to the last detail. The other times, as of recently..my nails are once again lumpy and uneven...even a big dent in my thumb nail...it took her 1.5 hours to do it. Very disappointed in the finished product. The salon is under new management used to be Lux Nails. Wasn't happy with the old staff but the new staff are amazing! Darlene and Johnny made me feel like a million bucks when I arrived and I left there feeling FANTASTIC!! They did a fantastic job on my gel nails and pedi! Offered me champagne that was a huge plus!! The only time you should come to this place is when they are not busy. If they are busy, expect to be rushed and get poor service. The last two times I've gone I've been talked out of "nail art". the woman doing my manicure was in such a rush to leave that the I felt uncomfortable. Was excited to spend time dolling up with my bridesmaids, and we came on the recommendation from a bridesmaid in a bridal party a couple weeks prior. But what was intended to be a fun bonding experience quickly went south. For context: I NEVER get my nails done. The last time was over 5 years ago when I was in another bridal party. I had originally wanted something simple and natural, but decided to go for a "fun" style to mark the occasion. I showed the nail tech, Jenny, pictures of a milky ombre nail with some sparkle effect. She nodded, and started to get to work. I asked for rounded but not "too round." She began filing away with a HUGE emory board. Making quick work, she gave me a square with rounded off corners. I asked for a bit more round, and she rounded off more. I asked for still a little more because it looked too flat still, and she filed in diagonally until it came in to a flat tip. I was a little shocked by how much came off, and was feeling uncertain about the look. But she said there was no way to go back now, so I said okay to the rest of them done this way. I figured maybe it would look better with polish. She proceeded to file off the rest of my nails in a rush, mostly filing my skin rather than the nail. After filing, the edges were all uneven and very different lengths, and two of the fingers on my left hand had one side completely sawn off asymmetrically. Not pretty. I figured maybe she would come back and do detailed corrections later, but nope. Then came the cleaning of the cuticles. She nipped so deep that THREE of my fingers started to bleed. She didn't notice the bleeding though until she had already proceeded with chemical application, causing them to sting. She didn't pause to disinfect and stop bleeding. Just wiped acetone on them and kept going. She commented that my skin must be thin. It felt like she was saying it was my skin's fault for bleeding where she cut me. Then came the color. Base color job was nice and even. 5 stars. Tbh I could've stopped there and been fine with it. But once she tried to do the ombre... the sprayer machine she tried to use was out of battery. No backup. Not prepared. After struggling several minutes with getting the sprayer to charge back up, she gave up. But instead of explaining to me what was happening and giving me options to proceed, she decided to go ahead and manually apply the ombre with a paintbrush. It turned out very streaky. Let's call it an "artsy" ombre to be generous. Several layers of painting and curing later, once we were about finished, she then tells me that she can't do ombre with gel nails and I should have asked for powder. Again, not a nail regular, which I told her. And again, getting married the next day, which I told her. Yet somehow, my fault for asking for the wrong thing so that the ombre couldn't be achieved. The sparkle she added at my request as least helped mask some of the sloppiness. After all the painting and curing, it was finally time for top coat and finishing touches. One of my bridesmaids had finished 10 minutes earlier, and I had watched as her nail tech carefully cleaned the edges and made them neat and uniform with a wand, checking in with her regularly to make sure it was to her satisfaction. But Jenny... she came back with the giant emory board and hacked away at the corners again. Except this time, she tore into my flesh and I had to yelp in pain before she would stop. She left a deep gash in my finger, which she did not disinfect. And then once again commented on my "thin skin," as my fingers continued to bleed. This whole time I was staring at her California nail esthetician license, wondering if it's legit or if my experience is supposed to be normal for a nail salon. To wrap it up, she charged me double the regular price because it was not a basic gel manicure. She explained that other nail techs would have refused to do the ombre for gel nails, but because I was the bride, she tried her best for me (I wish she had been upfront and we wouldn't have bothered). Then she wished me luck on my wedding. We booked it out of there. Once I got home and inspected, it finally hit me how sloppy a job she did, how rushed out I felt, and frankly, how abused my nails and fingers were. I spent the afternoon miserably disinfecting the wounds with IPA. One of my bridesmaids called to complain, but they said the injury was an accident and refused to offer any sort of compensation. So buyer beware. Go somewhere else, or avoid Jenny.

The prices are good and they do everything they can to make you feel good. They also do hair, color, and waxing. I found them 11 years ago, they changed locations down the street. I have not changed since they took my daughter in-law's wedding party for nail appointments at the last minute after another salon I had made appointments with refused to take everyone (apparently their English was a barrier to understanding), so Cindy and Deniae worked everyone in and ai was so very grateful and they have had my loyal support since then. If you are wanting relaxation and friendliness, and nice work and pricing, go here. If you want every fancy bell and whistle and the huge prices go elsewhere.

SAVE YOURSELF LADIES I will never be coming back, and I do not recommend this salon. Unfortunately, the lady that was doing my nails didn't trim the cuticles, did awful paint work and was huffing and puffing during the session. And then, she told me she couldn't do my pedicure because it took too long to do my manicure, even though it was still one hour till closing. This has never happened to me at a nail salon, so I left hella confused of course.
