Update to my review from yesterday, did not have the best experience and the work was a bit sloppy but the new owner reached out and offered to fix my builder gel fill and wow I am so impressed with the service. They were very kind and apologetic, the cuticle removal looks excellent and I am looking forward to booking with builder gel expert Adam! Very kind team here and they offer 1 week guarantee to fix any issues
First time I went for a manicure I was happy. It was done well and the price is reasonable at $25 for regular paint. I went again today and all the ladies were busy so the guy came out to do my nails. He's somewhere in his 20s and gave me the vibe of he didn't want to be there. Like he's there to help out family or mom is forcing him to work vibe. He just did a sloppy job all the way through. I cut my cuticles too deep he made me bleed, unevenly filed my nails, and the paint was applied uneven. I had to tell him to clean under the nails after I did a paraffin treatment. It's was like he was trying to get into the back room as quick as possible. I will try and go again because the first time went well. But DONT GET THE GUY to do your nails
I've been coming to Bella Nail "Lounge" in Torrance for years now, and I can't say enough good things. Darlene and her staff are amazing always so friendly and welcoming. First, let's clear up any confusion. This is Bella Nail "Lounge", not to be mistaken with the other Bella Nail "Bar" down the street. I always leave feeling so happy with my nails. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot that does it all and makes you feel comfortable at the same time!
I started doing structure manicures here great my nails were growing everything wonderful, I went in today to fix 2 nails since the polish wasn't dried perfectly so before I started to peel it off and break my nails i decided to get them fixed the gentleman who help me out basically ripped off the builder gel off my nail taking my natural nail with it I am extremely upset he wasn't apologetic what so ever! Now my nails look off and he wanted to do GELX tips I am so sad because it takes a while for my nails to grow he could've been more gentle and take his time instead of ripping them off
What used to be my go-to nail salon is now very questionable to me. Before I made an appt to go in for a gel pedicure and a gel-X soak off, I made sure that the gel would be soaked off and the owner confirmed it would be. When I got there, she said that it would be an extra $5 since it's gel X. Ok fine- I just wanted these off since it's been so bothersome. My pedicure was great, she did a great job. But the guy who took off my gel-X? I need to question, why does he even work there? He drill/sanded it all off. I hate doing that bc I've been burned several times and it leaves my nails really thin. I was sweating--praying he wouldn't burn me (which ofc he did!) After he was done, he started filing and shaping my nails but he was filing it SO rough and my nail just kept breaking and getting shorter! I asked him to stop so that I can just do it at home and he made a gesture like, "no I got it" and kept going. Like bro, I said stop. I was SO mad- I've never had an experience like that before! Needless to say, I will NOT be going back
The worst pedicure I have ever received ! At 9 months pregnant without being able to bend to see their fabulous job, I called the next day to let them know the lady that did my pedicure did a poor job. The guy on the phone was super rude and dismissive and really thinks I have time to get back in their chair again ! I would avoid this nail salon, I should have known when it was super dead and empty inside ! Definitely don't go here !!!

It was our first time here last weekend. Decor is beautiful with great vibe. My daughter and I loved it here! Mimi did a great job on my daughters mani/pedi. Kathy did my feet and Nikki did my hands. They are located next to Verizon on PCH and Crenshaw. Plenty of parking. -They take Venmo, Zelle or cash for payment/tip. We will definitely be back soon!
Bella is my go to spot! Darlene and Heidi do a great job on my builder nails. The prices are competitive and fair! My builder gel nails were $50.
Just went to get the gel removed off my toes. Quick and easy, cost $10. Definitely want to come back because it wasn't over crowded and I loved the decor.

I came here on a whim since my regular nail salon was fully booked and I needed my nails done. The people who worked here were kind. I got a fill (gel) and a pedicure (gel) The pedicure was okay- they didn't clean under the nails which I thought was kinda odd but I could get past. That's were the 2 stars were given- however my French tips were horrific There was a gentleman who did the service and the work done was very sloppy to say the least. As someone who regularly gets French tip I didn't realize how hard it was to execute well since I've never had an issue at my regular place. The thumb is uneven and the white paint on the tips is messy They also used gel builder (I think) when I originally came with acrylic and I personally don't like the way it looks. It looks uneven. It was 125 for all the services I received which is 60 for pedicure and 65 for fill... honestly I thought it was overpriced and I didn't have the heart to tell the guy I was very dissatisfied with my nails. Would not go back

I went here a few weeks ago before my trip because I needed to get my nails done last min and was so grateful they could take me and also it was a great price to get mani and pedi together. The place itself was very nice and clean. After sitting down, the woman got started on my toes and immediately cut my middle toe. She didn't really notice and just kept going but it hurt really bad and I told her she needed to put alcohol on it so she did and just kept going without saying anything. Then the other woman started on my fingers and cut my finger and that started bleeding. It was painful, I understand that accidents happen so I wasn't mad at first, but by the end of the appointment I left with two bloody nails and zero apology or anything offered to make it right. I asked if I had to pay full price because I didn't like how my toes looked along with being cut twice, and she only gave me five dollars off the service. She said because of the language barrier, the lady didn't know to apologize for cutting me AnyWho, I guess I would go back if I needed a quick job but just wasn't the best experience all around. I get my nails done a lot and it's rare that I get cut so the fact that it happened twice by two different people in the same store was interesting. read more

Horrible, horrible customer service since the re-opening during covid-19. Darlene is not nice at all, she charged me $75 for a basic a$$ set yes the nails are long but they have no special design whatsoever she kept complaining about how long I like my nails. I get it you've been out of work and you are hard up for money but girl, at that point you look desperate as a business woman and an a establishment. On top of that they charged me $45 for a plain gel/pedicure I got no special services at all no leg message or jelly water absolutely nothing. Plus, they refused services to a black woman which was seriously disgusting and to be honest yes it sounded like a racial thing and she only wanted short acrylics it wouldn't have taken longer then 30 min ridiculous! Keep in mind I used to work here as a receptionist and this isn't what they taught me at all really sad. You are better off going to small shop in the hood and getting the same services they offer at lower prices don't waste your time or money here so not worth it. read more

I have been a frequent visitor to Bella Nails for the past 5 years. In frequent, I mean that I come visit the salon every 2 weeks. :) I love all the women who work there. They are all friendly, warm, and welcoming. They all treat each other kindly and are basically like a tight knit family. They do beautiful work on nails from your simple manicure to an indulgent experience if you'd like. They are meticulous in their work. I've seen Darlene, LeAnn, Heidi, Kelley, Rose, Lily, and Kathy. ALL of them do beautiful work! Special kuddos to Nikki, who not only is a perfectionist in her nail work, but a TRUE artist! She can do any design and you're left just staring at your nails wondering how she made it happen. She always is go-to for my 6 year old's toe nails because my daughter wants designs from turkeys (Thanksgiving) to Jack Skellington (Halloween) Nikki is always such a good sport. I just love visiting Bella Nails and now they have these new, high tech chairs that charge your phone, give you amazing massages, and are actually comfy. I've been going to Bella Nails consistently for almost 5 months now and I absolutely love them. Everyone does a great job, they always play the best sitcoms while you are there, they offer you beverages and take great care of you. My nail technician's name is Julie and she's incredible! She is so talented and can do just about anything you whip out from Pinterest. She's done my red carpet glam nails and other designs and is just the bomb. I love this salon! Such a friendly environment and I always look forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend!! read more

Ive been here a few times now and it's been a good experience in the past. But today was the worst experience. Midway through my time there, I was going to give them 3 stars but it got worse and worse. Very DISSATISFIED with my experience AND my nails. SO. MANY. BUBBLES. How long we waited: I went with my sister and she waited 25 minutes before someone finally got to her, even though we made an appointment. Plus, they didn't tell us she would have to wait that long until I asked them how much longer she has to wait 20 minutes in. Would've been nice if they at least let us know that there would be a longer wait than usual. The lady who did my nails: 1. She talked A LOT to the other workers, frequently stopping to turn around and chat with them making my time there longer than usual. 2. She missed very obviously multiple spots in my certain nails and I had to ask her more than a handful of times to please fix them. 3. Cut the edges of my nails very weird.. I've never had them cut this way before. 4. SO MANY BUBBLES. I've gotten bubbles here before, but it was usually only on a few nails. But after leaving the salon today, I see they're literally on every nail except the glitter one. I asked her to fix one because it was particularly bad, but I wish I just got a refund to be honest since they're on every single nail. Didn't know it was this bad until I came to a better lit place after leaving. The lady who did my toes was very nice and did her part quickly. My sister likes this place, so maybe my experience was just with that one lady. Unfortunately didn't catch her name but she's one of the older staff with glasses (like reading glasses). read more

Came here for the first time on 10/6. I made and appointment but arrived early and was happy they were able to take me early. Sam did my pedicure and he was very good. He was nice and did a nice job. Cindy (who's fairly new to the salon after transferring from another local nail shop) did my gel manicure and was so thorough! She took very good care of my cuticles and was good company to chat with. With a little help from Johnny, she did a beautiful job with a marbled art accents. I'll definitely be coming back. Only thing I was bummed about was not getting the frequent customer card before leaving! (Next time) I definitely recommend Bella Nails. I would suggest making an appointment and bringing cash (though they do accept credit card). read more

I've been coming to Bella Nails Lounge for over 3 years and I cannot rave about them more! The salon is spotless. The ladies are amazing. They listen to what you want and exceed expectations every time. I've been going to Darlene for my nails and she's fast and ultra talented. I can show her a picture of a color I want and she gets it spot on. Don't sleep on this nail salon! The best in town! read more

I wanted to love this place but my gel manicure started to chip within a day on 2 nails then got a full on chip on another on 4 days. I went to have them fixed on the 4th day. The nail with a full chip they properly removed the polish and fixed it but the ones with a chip they just added more polish. It looks sloppy and chipped within 2 hrs of being redone. read more

I've been coming here before but idk what happened! It's just bad quality sometimes. I mean look at this, it's supposed to be ombre nails but she used gel polish and used a sponge to give it an ombre look. It's lumpy, uneven, she didn't file my nails evenly even though I asked her... My pedicure was great. But my mani'a just so sad... I paid $65 for this?! Come on! read more

Got my nails done for my bachelorette party and it was my first time getting gel extensions and I loved them! Heidi did such a great job and she was so nice to me and checking with me every step to make sure I liked the length and the design. Must come to Bella Nails for your manicure!! They fit me in same day and Tammy did an incredible job with the flame design. She helped me match the colors I wanted, and was super patient. If she didn't like how it came out, she started over again without prompting. The end result was better than I could have imagined! Highly recommend. read more
I got gel nails done for the first time for a special event 3 weeks ago. They were starting to peel so I saw that this place would remove them for $5. I had no interest in getting another manicure--I'm a minimalist, regular manicures don't last long for me because of my job and gel manicures are a special occasion thing for me. The woman used an electric tool to remove the nails, letting nail dust fly everywhere. My previously smooth and shiny nails (from before the gel manicure) are now rough and dried out. I'm not sure if it's typical to at least offer some cuticle oil or something but that would have been nice. Then she charged me $10. I asked why and she kept insisting that it was because I did not get another service, even when I pointed out online and on the physical menu at the store that it was $5 for gel removal with no indication that there were different prices based on whether or not I got another service. I found this place a few months ago and will never go anywhere else! I've had a few different people for manis and they are all great...but now Julie is the only one I will go to! She's absolutely fantastic, totally patient with my indecisiveness on what I want for my gel manis (), and honest on what will work and what won't with my nail length. She is client driven, not money driven which I respect and appreciate. My favorite gel mani right now is the cat-eye. It lasts for a full 3 weeks (probably even longer if your nails grow slowly). I used to visit different nail salons and would always walk out dissatisfied with my nails :( BUT I have to say I have finally found my go to nail salon. I truly adore this shop. I always ask for Tammy to do my nails and Cathy to do my toes but truly everyone is so sweet. Tammy is amazing with fun designs and Cathy always gets my toes just right. They really put in the extra effort to make sure I'm happy when I leave. I never was one to religiously get my nails done but since I found this shop and these wonderful people, I am now a regular and always look forward to my visits. read more

I just got a SNS fill by Darlene today. Oh my gosh I'm in love! I need my nails to be somewhat short and professional. I have terrible natural nail beds so gel alone won't do my hands justice. This is the only time I've ever gotten Acrylic and my nails look like they could be my own. They are so perfect and classy. Darlene was so fast as well! I walked in for the appointment, immediately started working on my and was out in 30/45 minutes. I don't have a single lumpy or uneven nail. I'm so impressed with her detail and speed! They walked my daughter and I in. Excellent artistry, great with kids, timely, and able to do custom artwork, and NO harsh filing or painful pedis, and the leg and foot massage was awesome . Best place I've tried in over 15 years. read more

I've been going to Darlene for about 4-5 years now. I love how she does my nails. I usually get SNS or gel. They are really good about fixing anything you aren't satisfied with or if it breaks or chips within a week. I usually book in advance with Darlene due to how busy she is and she never disappoints. read more

I do dip manicures but always with a design, so I can't speak for a plain color, but mine always comes to $65.
