I always have Cathy do my gel mani, which I get every two weeks, and have done so for a year now. She soaks off my old polish, keeps my nails short the way I like, and my cuticles are left perfectly soft. Compared to the choices in Napa for nails, Bella is clean, professional and relaxing. Made an appointment for myself and a friend for mani/pedi's. We arrived a little early and they were able to take us immediately. Lots of colors to choose from, and I was a little indecisive, so the woman helped me pick a color for my pedi. Very nice "Signature Pedicure" with the salt scrub, warm towels, good leg & foot massage. It's been two weeks and the polish still looks great. I upgraded to a shellac/gel manicure - had never done one. And now I'm a fan. I got a neutral color on my nails and they still look very good. I have been washing dishes, gardening, and just overall using my hands per usual, and the polish is still on there really good. Will definitely be back. The tools that the technicians used were sanitized and the salon had good ventilation. read more

This establishment was suggested by the hotel and therefore, without knowing the area went on 3 occasions. After the the 3rd time, I felt Bella Spa was NOT deserving of my business for the following reasons: 1. The meliciously assume that you are going to pay cash, then they tell you last minute that they cannot accept credit cards and that you are to use their in-house ATM machine. 2. Their customer service is inconsistent and there are one two many of the ladies who do not behave genuinely. 3. When I brought to their attention that I was not happy with a color they placed on my toes, after insisting that I was not confident it would be complimentary to my complexion, they became very indifferent and responded with resistance when I requested another color. There was absolutely no reason for this behavior especially since there were very few people in the Spa. 4. The regular customers seem to receive preferential treatment. Not at all a positive lasting impression. Therefore I would NOT recommend this spot to my colleagues who are also in the Napa area on business. I went to this salon for a few months. I loved them until I wanted a change. I had gel color tips and wanted to change to solid pink regular polish. They just painted over the original. Inside it looked fine. I stepped into the sunlight and saw how awful it looked. Instead of apologizing and fixing them the man basically said he couldn't fix them without me paying all over again for a new set after I just paid for a fill and polish change. And no apology at all. Not sure why he didn't do it right to begin with. I have not and will not EVER go back. read more

I have been to Bella many times and have recommended it to friends. That won't happen again. Yesterday I took a friend for a pedicure. It was brutal! We both yelled "ouch" more that once. The women doing our pedicures appeared to be totally unconcerned and unfeeling. There was no response or apology. Nor did they try a more gentle approach. I commented that this was the most painful pedicure I have ever experienced and still no response. They both spoke English so the language barrier can not be used as an excuse. I am really very disappointed as the salon is conveniently located and I could drop in almost any time without a wait. Now I will find a new place. read more

I was completely disappointed with my manicure/pedicure today. They did manicure while i was in the pedicure chair instead of taking me to a table, they didn't use sterilized equipment,they just pulled it out the drawer and then a few hours later the polish completed lifted off my daughter's nail in one fell swoop. When I called to complained, I was yelled at, told it was her fault and then hung up on. He said as a courtesy he would fix the nail yet I was hung up on twice and how is that courteous? Then when I came to talk in person he talked about me rudely to the client in his chair. My mother daughter special day was completely ruined by this experience. read more

$50.00 pedi, totally not worth it. First, there was a communication problem when discussing type of pedi and price. I'm not sure if the guy doing my nails was new or just always does a "Meh" job all the time. Not too clean, cut a few nails crooked and left them like that, no polish on the sides of half of my toe nails, and took offense when I nicely pointed it out to be fixed. I have been to a lot of nail salons throughout Napa, and this salon is hands down the best I have ever been to. I felt very welcomed when I first stepped in. There was no appointment necessary. The chairs that they have are very clean and you get a nice massage while you get your pedicure. I have been in several times since my initial visit and always had beautiful results every time. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a cash only payment salon, however they have an on-site ATM machine which did not charge a huge fee to withdraw money. read more

I've given this nail spa a couple tries now, in hopes of a better experience. Unfortunately, they are not any better than the first time. My regular nail salon was busy so I thought I'd try Bella Nails as it's a convenient location. The salon itself is nice and clean, but I was very disappointed with my pedicure. First, she didn't know how to cut an ingrown nail correctly. When she painted my nails, she left a big gap at the bottom. When I asked her to fix this, she just added another thick coat on top so the polish was so thick it didn't dry correctly (smudged). I won't be back. read more

I've been to Bella Nails before. I've never had my fingers infected like this. I had a woman, maybe new maybe not, do my nails. Wasn't the friendliest but wasn't horrible. While in the process of getting a fill, I noticed my ring finger bleeding right under the nail. At the time I had thought it was the only finger that had been hurt, so I didn't think it was a big deal. As soon as I left I noticed other fingers puffing up. She had put rubbing alcohol on my ring finger but that was it. I left it alone, I eventually thought they would heal. A couple days later I had 4 fingers infected including my right thumb which was the worst. I immediately put ointment and bandaids on all of them and kept reapplying. My other fingers have healed, all but my thumb. It has been over a week and my thumb is still infected and not getting better. I am upset that I did not go in and say anything to them about my fingers because it is unsanitary of them to have tools that are not cleaned off. I am also a bit grossed out, going to have to call a doc now. I'm never making a trip back again. read more

If I could give them no star I would...the WORST pedicure ever! I started coming to Bella Nails when they first opened-they were a little pricey but the place looked clean and the service was great. The last few months the service has declined among the new staff members and today was the last straw. I get the gel/shellac on my toes-usually they either apply alcohol or whatever they use and wrap my toes in foil or they sand it off. Today, the tech who I've never seen before proceeded to try to pull off the polish with the cuticle cutters(an unpleasant experience) and she ended up ripping off the top half of my toenail almost off! As I notice my skin starting to bleed she grabs the superglue! I asked what she was doing and stated no one had ever removed the polish that way before. She said she usually uses the sander tool but the other lady told her not to (??). I will never frequent this place again and encourage those in Napa to avoid it-I skipped polish since I'm now worried I may get an infection! read more

My mother and I visited the shop to have our nails done. I chose two colors and asked if they had another color for me to compare. Three of the workers looked at each other like I was crazy for wanting to try different colors. They began speaking their language which I understand slightly and were insulting me thinking I didn't know while they snickered and laughed rudely The owner came over and I confronted her asking why all of them were insulting me for wanting to compare 3 colors I told her I have been here before and it wasn't a problem and to many shops and no one has treated me or other customers in such a way. The owner said they don't have time to do this for me and then a man helping the owner came over and said he has never seen a client like me. I have been there 4 times by myself and they never said it was a problem. This time I took my mom to treat her also. and every time I compared colors. If it was something they didn't do they could have told me before and if they were busy they didn't need to snicker and make mean jokes about me thinking I couldn't understand. I'll never go back and feel these people should value their guests not attack them and be rude to them. read more

The service is very inconsistent. Also, when getting a pedicure they ask repeatedly about upgrading your service. They charge extra to buff or smooth out your feet (removing callouses). I thought that is why people get a pedicure to begin with. I have been in when a customer came in unhappy with her nails and was treated very badly--the owner let the staff argue with her-not stepping in to make sure the client was taken care of. Very poor customer service. The place is clean and modern. Pricing seems to inconsistent as well. read more

This salon just gave me the worst service I have ever received from a nail salon in my entire life. I asked for an acrylic fill and the technician filed my cuticles with the drill and made me bleed on 2 fingers, the acrylic is uneven and crooked as heck, and the gel polish that was used to finish with is bubbly, uneven, and all over the skin surrounding the nail! Not to mention that all ten nail tips were so unevenly and poorly filed! I have to get them completely redone somewhere else on Monday. I contacted Bella Nails Spa very spontaneously to help me with a fake eyelash removal. They responded quickly and made it possible to receive me the following day. The treatment was ok and quick: about 15 Minutes and we were done. To charge 30$ for that was a little bit too much in my opinion but since I wanted to get rid of my fake lashes very desperately it was alright. read more

Worst Service Ever!!!!! This was my first time going to this place and I'll never go back. The lady that helped me was sooooo rude! I went in an hour before they closed (ok maybe I should of gone a little earlier but still) and there were plenty of people standing around doing nothing. I still don't understand why she had to help me if there were plenty others doing nothing and she was busy. this is the most horrible disgusting nail spa ever. I walked in to get my acrylic off and just get shellac over my nail, the lady doing my nails ripped off my acrylic off with her own nail, she hurt me like 50 times and I asked her to stop, she then went over it with a drill, I asked her to stop again since my nail was very thin at this point, she continued 3 times. Finally she put acetone like she had to from the beginning.... (when she was done with the acetone she pour back in the bottle)When she started to file my nails I asked her if she had a clean file because her buffer and file were used, and it was obvious with the red polish marks on it. She pulled out her clean implements and continued...... She put cuticle oil in my nails but instead of using cotton she used the paper that her implement were sitting on..... She didn't even ask to cut my nails, they were long and I had to ask her. She then finally put the polish on and she messed up one nail. Horrible experience. I basically walked out with 9 nails done and a very hurt finger. read more

I don't even think it deserves 1 star.... paid $80 for a shellac manicure and pedicure and was hurt during the pedicure. I let the girl know and she just laughed at me. She was looking everywhere but at my feet. Never offered me a magazine or even spoke to me. Then another girl did the shellac part and didn't cure it the proper times ( I know what they should be). As for the manicure, the 3rd girl was hurting me during the massage (which should be relaxing!) She again didn't cure the layers enough and sure enough not even a week later it is chipping off. I will never go again. Felt unimportant, rushed and not welcomed. There are so many places to go, you would think they should treat every guest with gratefulness. Went to have gel nails.. They tried to convince me that that acrylic they were using was a new kind of gel. I have been in the beauty industry for 30 years.. It was acrylic with a gel overlay. Wanted to treat myself to a set of nails and pedicure that I didn't have to do on myself.. Pedicure was horrible!! They only slightly buffed my heals.. I could have polished my own toes and got the same result! If I wasn't in a wedding this weekend I would have passed on the appointment. read more

HORRIBLE customer srrvice, so unsanitary, the lady doing my nails sneezed constantly on her hands and never washed them.
