I used to really like this place, but after my last few visits, I'm about to give it one last shot and move on to another pizza joint. Hot subs, to me, should have A toasted roll that might still be warm, not a roll that's soft and no where near warm. If I said- no tomatoes or lettuce, I'd hope not to get home and see that there's both. My husbands side of the chicken finger sub had one measly chicken finger. Sad for him- my side had just enough- but since I paid for the whole sub- I kinda wanted the whole thing to be good. The pizzas good, but they can't follow an order if their life depended on it. Update. Went back last night. Ordered wings extra crispy and hot. And an order of spinach bread. He wings were soggy- even though I got there before they were done- the spinach bread wasn't even ready- I had her take it off the bill. every experience is different. I've personally never been here but my girlfriend loves this place. last two times she's been here though her chicken fingers (which she always gets) smelled pretty gross as if they had gone bad but were cooked anyway and the fries were limp and somehow soggy. Some of the best pizza and wings in Buffalo. I really like their pizza sauce and the traditional and smokehouse bbq sauce. They recently started breakfast and have a great menu. When my family does take out, this is our favorite! We always do a pizza with about 3 toppings and these guys aren't stingy. We love that they pile on the goodies. As for the wings; always plump and juicy with plenty of carrots and celery. Finally, if it's subs for the evening we are still never disappointed. My kids love the chicken finger subs. Bella Pizza on Herman Hill never fails! They're pizza is ALWAYS perfect! Granted, they cook it through a conveyor belt oven, it still always tastes delicious. But I always order here if the mood hits me for chicken fingers. For a reasonable price for a single chicken finger dinner compared to other pizzerias, you get 5 huge fingers and fries of your choice. They will give you krinkle fries but at no extra charge, you can order seasoned, curly q, or onion rings instead. I think that's pretty cool! Their breakfeast is also AMAZING!!! We have been getting Bella for years and unfortunately it has gone downhill recently. I know places are short staffed due to covid, however, the length of time a pizza needs to be cooked shouldn't be affected by that. Our dough was basically raw. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it before I called to complain about the wings. We had also ordered 20 wings, got 18. Ordered them extra saucy, they barely had any sauce. I would say we've had an issue with 9 out of 10 of our last orders with food not being cooked properly, or not receiving everything we ordered. read more

Just had the worst fish fry ever!! First - they screwed up the order. None of the salads were with the dinners. Just a piece of fish & French fries. The fish size was very small and very dry (due to overcooking). Each dinner cost $15 - rip off!! During this difficult pandemic, we are doing our best to support our local small businesses. We usually take our Pizza to go from here and take it home or to Chestnut ridge to eat it, even though they have a really nice and clean eat in restaurant. I have always preferred the first location in Lackawanna, but lately the pizza in Boston has not been great at all. The sauce is too sweet, and the dough has been underdone. Even the cheese, which is usually wonderful at their lackawanna location, was no thrill. Most people know Bella for their Huge Slices of pizza. We decided to stop in for breakfast! We got the western omelette with ham, peppers, onion and cheese with wheat toast and home fries (peppers and onions)! I had the breakfast wrap with home fries. The service was okay, it seemed as if they were overwhelmed and didn't know exactly how to deal with a large crowd. Although service wasn't the best, the food is worth it. Wow, extremly disappointing experience. Worst service and food prep ever. We have been going to Bella Lackawanna for years and we live in Hamburg so we thought we would try the Boston (hamburg) location. NEVER again. I ordered a hot sub not toasted & large pizza. When we got there sub was toasted so after asking was told toasted by mistake and it would take 10 min. to remake (if wanted) REALLY IF wanted. So we waited not 10 but 20 min. for new sub. Never offered ANYTHING for inconvenience or even to say sorry. By the time we got pizza home guess what (COLD). What a waste of $30 bucks. Well I guess it is back to Ninos :) read more

Was visiting from down state and was told to try the pizza here. So we had to give it a chance, and while we came for the pizza, the shining star was the wings and wing sauce. The pizza was good especially the fresh pepper on on it, but overall still doesn't beat a NYC slice. The wings on the other hand were awesome. Also amazing prices for lunch meals. read more

Went there this morning with friends and everyone in the group was very pleased with their breakfast. Among the items ordered was some fantastic french toast. The hash brown potatoes were excellent, freshly made. We're a pretty simple bunch of friends, so we stick to the basic breakfast items. I am a long time customer. Ordered $8+ dollar anti pasta along with bellzone. The Bellzone was just ok. No ricotta cheese which is what is on the menu but barely acceptable. The anti pasta was lame. There couldn't have been 1/4 lb of meet on the salad. No tomatoes in tomato season. No chi chi beans. A $4 salad at best. There was no meat to speak of on the salad. The disturbing part is I have ordered this salad in the past and it was outstanding. I just got screwed.. just raking in the profit from past performance. I am done! read more

Once Bella's opened, I finally had a good place to go to for pizza (Sorry, Brunner's). In the first few weeks of business, Bella's did have issues. They didn't have the proper oven space/amount of ovens to create the perfect crust. However, the owner was incredibly apologetic about the issue. Over time, now that they have the place more up and running, their pizza quality has increased. I always order double pepperoni extra crunchy, and they never fail! Their other food is good as well too. The place is always packed, and I don't mind going in every once in a while to sit down and eat. Nice place, friendly service, good food. read more

It's a night and day at this pizza place. It isn't a good thing when you get you food order home & the fries are WAY under cooked & sitting in grease....GROSS!!!! Bella hits the mark every time. Their pizza, wings and fingers are all outstanding. The chicken fingers are gigantic; a 5 piece meal is enough for 2 people and they're to die for. Somehow the Krinkle fries taste magical, not sure why. Their salads are equally fresh and chock full of meats, cheeses, and I like that they offer romaine lettuce. Their food rivals any big Buffalo pizza and wing restaurant! Love their dining room, even when it's busy you can usually find a place to sit. Nice ambiance with TVs to watch sports and the news; very comfortable. Take out is fast & never gotten my order wrong in all the years I've been coming here. Fast and very friendly service. This place has been going downhill since the new owner took over. Every order has been half the size. The pizza has less cheese and hasn't been tasting like a mouth watering pizza like in the past. The crust has been burned more then once. Probably because the crust is thinner now. I've had many orders delivered that have been wrong. Trying out other places. read more
