Really enjoyed the pizza here. It was thick and big and was all buffalo pizza style with the little grease pot pepperonis. Yum. Even had red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on the slice which is not always available at a pizza place. The folks next to us ordered fried dough with powdered sugar all over it. The lady compared it to a funnel cake at the Erie County Fair. Looked really good. The menu includes pizza, various wing flavors, subs and other stuff. It is clean including the bathroom and was priced just right.

self proclaimed pizza snob from buffalo now living in nyc. this is hands down the best pizza in the southtowns - and the instagram account @sexyslices (dedicated to reviewing buffalo pies) would also agree. ignore the negative reviews here and order!!! if you are picky about your pizza (light sauce, well done, etc.) - just make that request when ordering and they will accommodate! the stuffed banana pepper pizza is out of this world - i order it without the red sauce (see photo). i've never introduced it to anyone who hasn't also fallen in love. seriously the best. i can't attest to delivery but have ordered takeout from here at least 100 times and have never had a bad experience or my order wrong. great customer service and the food is always hot and ready for pick up in a very timely manner - even on football sundays.

a pizza box on a table

So I ordered a Meatball Pizza for pick up. Was ready when promised. Cashed out and took it home. Upon opening the box found quite a dissapointment. Hardly any meat on this pie. See posted pic. Keep in mind the meat you see are not whole meatballs. Just sections of meatballs. Kids and I ate the pizza cuz we were starving and didn't feel like driving back there. Last time for me at Bella Boston

Very good food, very consistent which seems to be a problem with alot of pizza places around here. I recommend the BBQ wings, delicious!

3/5 Stars Thank you…read moreto Silly Yak for providing a gluten-free option at the Erie County Fair. For those of us who need to eat gluten-free due to various health issues, having an option like this is greatly appreciated. That said, my experience today was extremely frustrating. For a booth that should be well-seasoned in handling fair crowds, the organization and order fulfillment were disappointing. I was Order #76 and waited approximately 20 minutes for my food. I was repeatedly told they were waiting on items for my order, yet the items appeared to be sitting right in front of the booth. Meanwhile, orders in the late 80s and 90s were being called before mine. I ultimately received Order #79's corn dog, which I was told was the item they were waiting for--yet several orders called after mine were also for corn dogs. Unfortunately, the wait significantly affected the quality of the food. My funnel cake sat for roughly 15 minutes before being handed to me, so it was cold and soggy. The corn dog had apparently been called about 8 minutes earlier, so it was also cold by the time I received it. The onion was cold and soggy as well. I completely understand that it was the first day of the fair, and I'm sure opening day can be hectic. However, when you're operating a fair-food booth and presumably have experience handling large crowds, I would expect a much more organized system for keeping orders in sequence and ensuring food is served while it's still hot. I truly appreciate having a gluten-free option available, but unfortunately, today's experience left a lot to be desired. I hope the process improves as the fair continues.

First of all... homemade gluten-free Detroit-style pizza?! I honestly can't think of anywhere else around here doing that. Let's be real: it's not going to fool anyone into thinking it's traditional Detroit-style pizza. The crust is a little grainier, but that's the tradeoff, not a dealbreaker. The toppings stole the show with a slightly sweet sauce and pep that had those crispy, charred edges. My mom also grabbed one of their gluten-free sea salt chocolate chunk cookies. Pro tip: leave it on top of the warm pizza box during the drive home. By the time she got to my house, the chocolate was gloriously melty as if it came right out of the oven. Ordering online was quick and easy, and everything was ready when promised. Yes, it's pricier than your average pizza, but when you're getting something this unique that you can't just pick up anywhere or make at home, it's absolutely worth it. Safe to say, my mom has found her new pizza spot. And she's already counting down the days until they return to the Erie County Fair.

In many ways, going to Couzins reminded us of visiting family -- they may be a bit dysfunctional, but they mean well. Special thanks to follower Scott Waite for the recommendation. Location: 2.5 / 5 Walking in felt a little like being the last to show up to the family reunion. The regulars confusingly studied us like we were distant "Couzins" whose name they forgot. The bartender (aka Aunt Carol), clearly surprised to have visitors, directed us to grab a table from the storage/dining area and await further instruction. Presentation: 3 / 5 While waiting for our wings, Uncle Carl from the kitchen came out and brought us a stack of non-descript paper products, which we thought were for garbage, but it turned out those would be our plates. Otherwise nothing special or offensive in the way these wings were presented. Meat: 3.5 / 5 Some flats were not cut well and had some exposed tips (i.e. the "hand" part of the chicken wing, typically reserved for Grandma's stock pot) which is not ideal but also not unusual. Cook: 8.5 / 10 These ate pretty good. Even the slippery-looking ones were cooked decently. Like when dad runs the grill -- the burgers may not be the best, but you know it's not the cook's fault. Medium Wing: 11.5 / 15 Not *bad* but under-flavored. We believe they made the common mistake of using too much butter (just like your mother-in-law) which doesn't add spice or memorability, just tolerability. Specialty Flavors: 7.5 / 10 - Hot Wings: Highlight of the night... like a hug from mom - Garlic Parm: Frankly, a sloppy mess... like uncle Jim - Spicy Maple: More sweet than hot... like your brother's girlfriend - Bourbon BBQ: Dry but not in a bad way and definitely different from all the rest... maybe adopted It was nice to visit but we need to get going. See you at the next wedding/funeral! Couzins Overall: 36.5 / 50
