Great place for a quick lunch. Very fresh and delicious. The owner says they only keep fresh food on the counter so there's not a lot of options since the rotation is big. They sell a lot of cheese slices as being the most famous at this area. Highly recommended!

    very awesome pizza

the food was absolutely delectable and the service was exquisite. specifically the man with the beard provided the best customer service i had ever received in my life. me and my friends had felt a little famished during our outing. so we had decided to come to our local homey small business comfy warm toasty pizza place nearby. so we had trekked to this fabulous establishment and i would say this was our best choice yet. when i walked in i immediately was blown away. i fell to my knees by how amazing this place was. what was heaven? this was heaven! the guy up front was so kind i thought he was an angelic being and he kinda looked like jesus. i knew i was in the right place. i'm confident to say i will remember this for the rest of my life. thank you pizza

    Grandpa pizza

Just really good and consistently good pizza. We've had regular crust and Grandpa pizza. They are both solid with tasty toppings. Calamari is also delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Eat local!

First time ordering from here. First off, GREATEST buffalo boneless wings I have ever had. They chopped up the boneless wings and the sauce covered each piece. Incredibly flavorful. Second, the guy behind the counter held a great convo with me after I placed my order. The place has a very friendly vibe and even better food. Definitely deserves my business and I will be returning

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

Then we were served an anti-pasta plate consisting of olives, hard Italian salami and cheese along with warm bread and butter. This was delightful as I was starving. The specials were too many to remember but I ordered the Seabass over greens. The fish was extremely tender and the lemon garlic sauce complemented the greens and the fish perfectly. Others had the seafood risotto, lobster salad and sausage over broccoli rabe. Everything was delicious and our waiter was fantastic and attentive. This was honestly one of the best sea basses I've had in a while. The owner even popped over to say hello, which was very thoughtful. I was a little confused by the vibe of the inside, even though it was gorgeous. Super sky high ceilings, large windows, a large wraparound bar, and plush seating. I feel it lens itself more to friends or work event dinners versus a date night.

Very warm, welcoming and chic. The service was great, our waitress was very helpful with recommendations. For my drink I got the Sage Whisper. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy gin. We ordered the Feta cheese turnover. It was good but could definitely be better. The block of feta was so massive that it overpowered the dish. If they use like half the amount of feta and added more honey it would've been perfect. I was also expecting apricot to be incorporated into it, but it was just on the side. If they had a layer of apricot jam inside that would literally take it to the next level. For dinner I ordered the Bistecca. My steak was could perfectly but the flavor was a little lacking. Luckily I love steak so i still enjoyed it but I think if it was sliced and topped with the chimichurri and some flaky salt it would've been a lot more flavorful. The steak was also a very generous portion. I did have my eye on the Orecchiette Rabe e Sausage. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely come back to try it.

But the staff was incredibly welcoming right from the start, and that alone earns them five stars. You never know what to expect in a new neighborhood, but they set the tone immediately. The vibe of the restaurant is very comfortable. It is the kind of spot you walk into after a long day or a productive day and you just know you are about to eat something good. It feels like a family run place, even if it is not actually run by family. It has that warmth. You can tell it is an important part of the neighborhood. I even noticed pictures of community members on the wall, which says a lot. Now, the food. There is hot food, cold food, and plenty of items you can take home. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and let me tell you, it was the size of a skinny football. I am not exaggerating. It took me almost a day and a half to finish it. It tasted exceptional, and I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting so I would not slip into a food coma. One tip, eat it while it is hot. That is when it is at its peak power. My friend agreed with me about the overall vibe and quality. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I will gladly go out of my way just to try more of their dishes. You do not find spots like this easily. New York City has great food, but a place with this combination of warmth, quality, portion size, and charm is rare. In another city, this could easily be a reservation only spot packed every night. Here, it fits perfectly in the community. Great job to everyone there. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Food flavors were solid, but there were definitely some misses and things that could have been a bit better (mentioned below). ++++ Calamari wasn't spectacular, but it was still decent. It could have been a bit crispier. ++++ Lentil Soup that was served with our entrees was very good. It didn't come out hot, but instead lukewarm, however it was very flavorful. ++++ Chicken Parmigiana was hugeeeeee! It was 1 gynormous piece of breaded chicken on a plate to itself! The linguine was on its own side plate. The chicken parm was fantastic though - lots of sauce, crispy exterior and delicious. ++++ Filet of Sole stuffed with Crab Meat was exactly how I like it, stuffffed to the gills with crab meat! It was basically a giant crab cake wrapped with a filet of sole and it was mmm mmmm good. It came with a vegetable medley and a round potato croquette. ++++ Surf and Turf was to my liking, but not my better half's. The steak was requested at medium, but it was definitely medium rare. I was perfectly fine with it, but not my wife. The lobster tail was excellent though. ++++ Ricotta Pistachio Cheesecake was delicious! Very soft and different than your average solid cheesecake. Get it! + Restaurant is suppppper spacious with 2 dining rooms and lots of tables. + Huge parking lot all around the restaurant. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Undercooked steak mentioned above was a semi-biggie. It was rarer than we preferred. - Small mishap with our entree starters where we asked for 2 Lentil soups, but they gave us 2 salads instead. - Service was slowwwwwwww throughout our Christmas Eve dinner. -------The waiters were definitely busy, but we spent 2+ hours here for dinner and the time between dishes was much longer than we're used to at other restaurants. ---- Everyone was pleasant to us, but we did feel a bit of bias towards other customers - as in food was dropped off at our table and then the waiter would jet away, while at other tables there seemed to be a lot more mingling going on between the waiter and the customers. Not sure if it was because we had kids with us or other factors. ---- Not one time did anyone come by to check on how we were doing or if our dishes were to our liking. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = The food sort of - mentioned above. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = We arrived at 6PM and dined till 8:15PM on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was busy, but not overly so. We made a reservation, but there were plenty of open tables. = They served from a condensed Holiday menu for Christmas Eve. CONCLUSION -------------------- = The food was up and down, but mostly up for me. Service was disappointing to say the least - not because they weren't friendly to us, but just because of the speed and the lack of attention. Still a solid restaurant and they have quite a large menu, if you're not here on a holiday.
