Chicken cutlet calzone, Italian sausage and peppers, Shrimp scampi, chicken francese, mixed vegetables, spinach & garlic, mussels marinara, tortellini in marinara or Alfredo are some of our favorite dishes to order. Alfredo sauce is improved from previous operators. Portion sizes are Impressive, entrees usually give for 2-3 meals, especially the tortellini. Dine-in, Delivery or pick up - all are quick options. It was quite greasy, but wasn't too bad after dabbing the grease off with napkins. Staff were friendly, but they do not have air conditioning. Pizza isn't bad, but customer service and the smell of a dirty mop is. We stopped by l at 9pm for a couple slices and the sign said "closed" even thought their hours of operation say until 10 pm. We went inside because a few customers who were leaving said they were still open. The workers definitely put the sign up in hopes that no one would come in regardless of the fact that they had another hour left to close. As for options of slices, they are very limited. This is not the place to stop in for a slice or two because they usually only have plain while the other slices sit out all day. This is a dingy, dusty, poorly lit and old place. Feels like a basement. The entrance has gumball machines with old candy and the place needs an update. First time here. Pizza is pasty and doughy. We ordered for the family for the first time today since we heard that our favorite, Victor's Pizza, was sold and the food wasn't as good as it once was. In addition, we heard that someone who was involved in Victor's was now with Master Pizza and the food was great, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 3 different entrees: Chicken Parmigiana with pasta, EggPlant Parmigiana with salad and Chicken Francaise with salad. All entrees were excellent and plentiful as were the salads. The sauce is tops. I hope the pizza is as good as the entrees, if so we will be Master Pizza loyal customers going forward. read more

Needed to find a new favorite pizza place. Super bummed b/c the one pizza place in my area (which to me was also the best pizza ive ever had in/near bergen county) did not do curbside pickups. It also didn't help that the manager of the pizzeria was a jerk. I found Master Pizza on yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I'd like to say that they will now be my go-to pizza delivery. Also helps that the person on the phone was super friendly & helpful, delivery was pretty quick (30 mins?), my credit card # didn't work but they delivered the pizza anyway and I called with another #, legit garlic knots, lovely lovely margherita pizza (yes sauce and crust were on point), and delicious penne vodka. I have been coming to Master Pizza, from 1975 which at that time was called Pizza Pub...was changed to Master Pizza in 1987...Since then the restaurant was sold 2 times just recently about 2 years ago to Jerry and Jimmy who could not make a go of it, and previous owner took it back...Around 4 months ago it was taken over by Robert, and let me tell you I go at least 2 times a week. The pizza by far is the best in the area hands down. I have ordered many things and I have not been disappointed. Eh. My kids really like it here but I find the food to be mediocre. The service is extremely slow and if you are not a regular no one seems to care you are there to purchase food. They also do not take debit or cc so make sure you bring cash or hit the Quik Check next door for an ATM Pizza is standard jersey pizza. Sauce is a little bland and the crust is not as crisp as others. Sandwiches are more bread than meat content. They give good sized slices and offer other choices for those not wanting traditional pizza fare. Master Pizza is a decent neighborhood spot but not more than that. If you have the means of freely traveling throughout Bergen County, then I suggest you do just that. Their regular slice is average-average crunch, average cheese and sauce. I realize that sounds redundant but I just want to be clear that there is plenty of good pizza to be had in this county. So please use your time wisely. If you live in one of the many apartment complexes across the street, then at least you can take comfort in the fact that this place is not horrible. Great little neighborhood pizzeria that has been around for decades. The pizza is done right and their eggplant Parmesan is probably one of the best around. It's a casual place and family run.
