Bella Pools was excellent! Moved into a new home and the pool in the back yard was falling apart. It needed everything: new walls, motor, needed to be re leveled. The deck needed to be taken apart, it was a nightmare. Luckily for me I called Bella Pools. These guys were absolute professionals. Paul helped me pick out which liner to get, was able to make it a salt water pool and was very knowledgeable. The workers (Craig and Kenny) were very polite and worked hard all day even though it was incredibly hot. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new pool or needs it fixed or maintained. read more

initially Paul came out to do sizable project and to redo our pool. they did a fairly good job. once done he was no where to be found. follow up punch items or additional punch items or even a company that you could rely on for service work ,forget it. we would usually respond back in text messages and say I'll take care of that next week but would never show up or text back. he doesn't care about the customer. he is chasing the next big job/ money. it's sad to me as i was looking for a true customer care company that would take Care of our needs with our pool. you won't get that with Paul Only promises that don't happen. I know he is really busy with customers that are giving him big jobs. if your looking for services work forget him. I spent 30k worth of work and that got his attention but he has now put me in the side line sice the work is done. never did install my ladder and it's now been a year. thanks Paul - I feel lIke I've been screwed in a way. must have sent 15 Text messages and I guess it's time to move to a more reliable company. read more

These guys are amazing! I tried to get a pool service to fix my in ground liner to no avail. 6 pool services refused. These guys were prompt, professional and reasonable. They do great work and are less expensive than most pool services. I've already hired them for next season. Not reliable, opened pool, didn't completely vacuum clean and never once showed up on time or when they said they would.

Terrible experience. Never showed up when they said they would and generally did not seem that good at what they were doing. Do not use if you want the work done in a timely manner. Service was to have a liner replaced at my in-laws in-ground pool. Were very prompt to give us a quote. That was the last time they showed up on time. Said install of a new liner would be 4 weeks. Contacted them 6 weeks later to see what happened. Said they would be out in a few days. Did this two more times before they showed up. Installed the liner and my wife stops to check progress. Wrong liner. They tell her it is manufacturers fault & offer a discount to keep the wrong liner. 50% discount for a total of $1800. I say we will not pay for a liner that we did not want. They can give us a 100% discount and then they will not have to make a 2nd liner and do the extra work of a 2nd install. Bella says they agree and remove $3000 from bill. How is 50% $1800 but 100% is only $3000. Install is finally complete, we fill the pool and it loses 3 inches overnight. Call Bella and they promise to come out and look at it. They do not show so we call again. Promises he will be out to look at it. Repeat. Third time is the charm. Bella comes out and says that the pump is leaking and needs to be replaced. I check and the plugs are not tightened (installed by Bella). Call them back because there is no longer dripping at the motor but we still lose 3 inches of water over night. They say maybe it is the silicon they pulled out when replacing the light fixture. How do you pull out something used for sealing and not replace it? How is this not the first thing you think of when your customer says the pool has a massive leak. Two calls later he comes out and seals the fixture and puts a plug in the main drain. Says he will be back in a couple days to see if the leak has stopped and remove the plug if necessary. Last time I heard from them. A week later I am jumping into a now stagnant pool to remove the plug and then spend several days getting it all clean. read more

Called one morning and spoke to Paul regarding getting a hottub up and running at a home I recently purchased. Paul said he had to go somewhere that morning but should be able to make it to my home that day. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this. He asked me to text him my address, etc and asked what time I would be home until. I told him 3:30pm. I waited until 3:45 and he did not show up nor call. He called me back 2 days later and left me a message saying he could come that day. I contemplated if I wanted to give a 2nd chance and decided to do so. I spoke with Paul again on a Monday night to see if he could come out Tuesday and if not schedule an appt. for the following Tuesday. Again he says he will see if he could get to me the next day and if not he would contact me to schedule something for the following week. It has now been 5 days and I have not heard from the guy. We moved into a home a few months ago that had a hot tub. I have never owned one prior and had no idea who to call when I started getting an error code and the heater and jets stopped working. We did some research online and tried multiple suggestions but nothing worked. The company that the previous owners purchased it from is no longer in business so i called several local dealers but none would work on a Down East brand. I called Bella Pools after hours and left a message. Paul called me back the next day and asked for more information regarding the issue. He then gave me detailed instructions to try to solve the problem so that i wouldn't have to incur an expensive repair. I followed his suggestions and the unit was able to reset and has been working fine ever since. Paul was very friendly, helpful, and he saved me the cost of a repair trip charge. I will definitely call Bella and Paul in future for my spa repairs. read more
