I love this store! My daughter and I saw something great in the window on a Sunday( closed) We went back the following weekend on a Saturday and enjoyed seeing that item and so much more! The service was really delightful and extremely thoughtful. We were not expecting to buy anything but were so thrilled with our findings they became purchases ( we have worn our items all week!) I always stop by Bella Rosa when I'm shopping in downtown Los Gatos, but I've never bought anything at the store. They have a fairly good selection of designer brands, and they carry everything a girl needs: denim, shoes, belts, purses, dresses, etc. I absolutely love how they designed the store. You feel like you're shopping in a cute boutique in socal once you step inside. In the past, customer service was horrible. However, during the past year that I visited the boutique, the salesgirls have been friendly. As others have mentioned, prices are high at Bella Rosa, but they're not unusually high for the brands that they carry. read more

Cute boutique with some really great designers (a lot of which you can find on Shopbop.com). Much of it is not my style, but I do enjoy looking. Good selection of jeans and tracksuits and such. If you are looking for something truly unique, you could definitely find something here, but be prepared to pay a premium for it. Looking cute isn't cheap, that's for sure! Customer servise has been hit-or-miss. I have gone in and have been completely ignored and I have gone in and have received great service, so I guess it depends on who is working. If I had a black Amex card, I would buy pretty much everything in this adorable boutique. Bella Rosa carries an impressive selection of the latest designers for women, so be prepared to spend some $$$$. They've got everything from casual to cocktail wear, shoes and accessories. Gina, the store manager, has an amazing eye and is super helpful. Best of all, you don't feel pressured at all to purchase. However, I found myself loving almost every piece I tried on, making it really hard to resist buying all of them. I went home with a flirty little Ra Mona La Rue short jumper, cute YBF shirt dress, and beautiful Karina Grimaldi silk halter top. I just wish it was warm already so I could actually wear all of them now! When I go shopping I to be paid attention to - especially if I am spending over $400 on an outfit. Every time I have ventured to the boutique I have been treated rudely. I've been a loyal customer for many years, ever since the store opened, and the one thing that have always been a highlight has been the customer service. Unfortunately that has really fallen by the waste side. I came in one day asking one of the girls about a dress, which they had at the window. She volunteered to take it off and assured me it was easy, as I told her I didn't want her to go to too much trouble. Then this man walked in, I think a very big customer, and she lavished attention on him and completely forgot about me. She talked and helped him for quite awhile, enough time for me to try something on and get out of it and get dressed, and totally ignored me even though I was there first. She was struggling with the mannequin that she took off the clothes for the other fellow, hadn't even touched the mannequin with my dress, when I finally walked out. it really saddens me to have had this experience. While I still love the clothes they have, I will probably not return since I really don't need to pay this kind of price tag with this kind of service. Gina has become the new owner, and she has always been great, though I am sure Deb and her impeccable taste will be missed. read more

The clothes are hanging around the perimeter of the store arranged primarily by color scheme (not always my favorite method, especially when boutiques are a bit larger) with a few tables in the middle with a selection of snuggly cashmere sweaters, jeans and some terrycloth sweat suits. There are 2 wonderful glass armoires full of glittery jewels and some fancy & unique shoes. I am in definite "lusty like" with this store for the wide selection of designers and even some harder to find designer items. At times I feel like they need to diversify a bit more - have a pieces that don't break the bank (it's not always necessary to spend $125 on a Tshirt, even for me). I have found some stellar shoes that definitely stand out in a crowd -- not to mention a few fun summery numbers. I don't get to hit this store as much as I would like to as it's usually too far south to fit into my schedule - but when I do make the trip, it's almost always worth the drive! I must also make a MAJOR SHOUT OUT to the fact that they are OPEN ON SUNDAYS!!! I don't know how many of you gals find yourself in a situation looking for that perfect LWD (move over LBD, it's LittleWhiteDress time) or a sexy new top to wear on that hot date and want to make the absolute most of your weekend and shop every single second of every single day - well its only 2 days, but you get the point. Unless you're at the mall, most boutiques are closed on Sundays - I don't get it!!! Obviously these boutique owners think those of us maxing out our credit cards don't have jobs? Bring your Platinum card when you come here. Serious, you will know what I mean. You can easily spend an airline ticket to London! They have the cutest clothes and brands that I've never heard of like Olga Kapustina and Ab/Soul. You will find those one of kind pieces that will have your friends asking you "where did you get that from?" The customer service in the shop is amazing. Gina, the shop owner, went out of her way to chase down a blouse for me in the size I needed. I returned a couple weeks later with some friends from out of town arriving shortly before closing. She made us feel right at home and allowed us to shop past closing. She and her staff are very helpful,; finding things to pull together an outfit that looks fabulous! That being said, they are not pushy at all and allow you to make the choice you want for yourself. You a guaranteed to find pieces to add to your wardrobe that will be lasting staples - as well as fun, trendy items to spice things up! Good place to go if you are a Juicy Couture fan. They have a lot of things in that other bay area stores never get. The reason why I didn't give it 5-stars is that sometimes you go there and there is one article of clothing, but they have it in 20 different colors... which I sort of find unnecessary... I'd rather see different items versus different colors. But definitely worth checking out if you're in Los Gatos. read more

I came here after seeing a gorgeous pair of boots in the window the night before. Luckily for me they had my size. The young woman helping me was super friendly and helpful and I enjoyed chatting with her while I tried on a couple of pairs and ultimately purchased the perfect pair of fall boots. Wow where do I start my boyfriend has bought me stuff from this boutique twice now spending at least $700. For valentines day he bought me a few things that I went in and exchanged with my sister I wasn't looking for a return just an exchange. We were shocked at how rude the girls were that worked there I chose out a few things an went into one of the dressing rooms to try on stuff and my sister happened to walk in she was in there for over five minutes just helping me choose stuff out when one of the employees walked in while I was in my underwear and wanted to count my items? And also mentioned after the fact that there shouldn't be more than one person to a fitting room which is fine but don't stand there and ask me to count the items while I"m half naked. Finally when I was ready to make the exchange the girl threw a hat i bought in the bag we were beyond disbelief. I did call and complain and the owner said she has never received a complaint like mine before which I find hard to believe. Anyways ladies shopping is fun but not when you shop here don't waste your time or money. If you care about customer service try visiting a boutique like Kitsch Couture in Saratoga, this is my favorite place and they are so sweet and helpful they honestly go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. read more

I agree with Marji's post..HORRIBLE customer service especially from the owner! RUDE and snobby... The store has lots of cute clothes ( expenisve, $128 for a ribbed white tank top( but in very limited and small sizes, I am 5'11 and a normal weight and there was not an item in the entire store that fit me. I checked in often and the stuff they wanted me to purchase was ripping at the seams when I tired it on. .. every single time I went in they would hand me size 4 and 6 and would say they run big..the only reason I continued to go to this boutique is my DH purchased a bikini and cover up from them on Xmas eve 2 years ago and the size 6 they talked him into buying was not close to fitting. When I went to return the bikini the largest they had was size 6, so they gave me store credit which I am fine with....so two years later after continually visiting the boutique and not finding anything that would fit me I asked to have the $204.35 store credit put towards a gift certificate that I would then donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma's annual silent auction and gala. First of all the gal working said she would have to ask her owner if they could do that. Why not store credit is the same a gift certificate! So I left a note and got a call back more than a week later saying that we don't do that but she will make an exception since I was to big for her store, she said she will only do it for $185..because tax was included ..wtf the credit is $204.35, she finally agreed the tax was already paid in the amount of $204.35.. she was very snotty and acted like she was doing me a HUGE favor, she actually said "hey I am trying to do something nice for you we don't do this" I then asked would she consider adding to the gift certificate since the proceeds would go towards cancer research and other boutiques in Los Gatos where generous enough to give me items, of course the answer was no, which I do not hold against them in my review because everyone has their own nonprofits they support...but on top of her doing me a big favor by turning my store credit into a gift cert she could not get it ready when I needed ( it the next day), for some reason it takes them an extremely long time to make a gift certificate , she said I could not pick up for 3 days, really 3 days to prepare a gift certificate... so the moral is I am doing a good thing by donating the store credit to the leukemia & lymphoma Society but I really hate to give Bella Rosa any advertising and I hope whomever wins the auction item is treated with respect and dignity and finds something that fits, if not the other items and stores from Los Gatos included in the acution item are fabulous so hopefully that will make up for Bella Rosa's lack of customer service! read more
