This a womens fashion and kitsch right on the main drag in downtown campbell. Parking is street only which usually means there is no parking so you'll most likely be over on a side street or over in that free parking garage on 2nd/3rd street. This is a smaller space which bookends nicely with the uber hip spot right next door. It is a more focused boutique which has a lot to offer the more established woman. Having said that there is a selection of fast fashion from Europe, but a lot of the clothing is aimed at a more mature market. This also a great spot for home decor chic, and they have a better then expected locally made jewelry selection and they carry a rotating stock of local art. The owner has been doing this for a long time, and has a great eye for what works fashion-wise. Typically she is in the business every day and if you drop in more then once she'll treat you like a regular customer (in a good way). Generally speaking this spot is worth a quick browse if you are out and about on campbell ave, and I especially like the newer quality styling on offer in the back. read more

I can't help, but think in a British accent when I'm here... A smorgsaboard of cute, pricey AND affordable items. I love the cute displays of dresses made of Baskin Robbins spoons, Dumdum wrappers, and Good n Plenty boxes. Some of the fixtures and displays are also available for purchase, just look for the price tag. I also LOOOOVE the epic mirror leaning against the wall. Lots of cute tees, dresses, skirts. I just wish there were alot more accessories to choose from. Unlike most businesses in Campbell, this store is open on Sundays. Sweeeet. read more

What a fantastic little boutique. My friend and I were tempted in by the sidewalk sale and I'm so glad we went in. Deb (the store owner) told us she's been in business for 18 years. She hasn't been around that long by pushing for sales--she was super genuine with her thoughts and opinions, and offered helpful recommendations without being salesy. Simply Smashing is a fantastic boutique, located in Downtown Campbell. Through the rough times many boutiques have come on gone, but Simply Smashing has thrived...for a reason...it's fabulous! I love a lot of the lines Simply Smashing carries, but for the most part, I stick to the denim. I love Rock Revival jeans and Deb has many different styles at her shop. Simply Smashing also has great jewelry and gift items. Not everyone can afford the boutique's brand names, but if you are a fashionista on a budget, you will be happy to know that Deb has amazing sales. Was just there yesterday. A great boutique with some of the coolest, hippest clothes in the South Bay. I tell people it's like a San Francisco boutique in downtown Campbell. Found an ultra cool top on the sale rack (gotta love sale racks) and of all the crazy things I was needing a miniature chandelier and guess what? Deb had them! I needed one but didn't expect to really find one so that was a nice surprise :o) Go, shop, then have lunch or dinner, there are tons of great restaurants all around. Wow. Highly disappointed. My daughter, only 15 years old bought me a denim jacket for my birthday in August. She surprised me, first time. The jacket was too large and not exactly something I would wear. I approached the owner about an exchange. It was over 10 day policy. The store hours are so limited. I attempted three times, each time finding the store closed. I told her I didn't want a refund, just to get something else. She was very strict that the policy applies to everyone. She is the store owner. Why wouldn't you encourage people to want to come back to your store? Instead, she chose a very hard line. Will I ever go back to browse through her store? Never. Will I ever recommend it? Never. I told her, you have the ability to do right, but you choose not to. What a shame. She must be confident she does need my future purchases. read more

yes, this store is "simply smashing" as they carry quite a few party dresses/skirts and chic jewelry and accessories. this is definitely the store to stop into if you're in downtown campbell and in search of something hip and trendy. most of their patterns and cuts are very unique, and i'd definitely come here if i needed something to wear to a nightclub or rock concert or night on the town. read more

Very good quality clothes here, although generally pricy unless you get them on sale. I have gotten a few nice things here you would not find anywhere else, although a couple stores in Willow Glen have similar styles. I love looking for the sale rack outside--bargains galore! The downside is it is very eclectic and you don't always find your style or size, but it's fun just to look. Everything is attractively displayed here, and even if you can't afford anything they give you lots of good ideas. read more

I have bought a lot of things in there and when you are buying things the owner, Deb is really really nice to you. I asked her if she could give me an opinion on something fashion related and she treated me so poorly. She said I am really busy, call me and kinda tossed me aside. There were hardly any people in the store and she striked up a long social conversation with some lady and her daughter about decorating for 20 minutes ect. I felt so bad and stupid b/c I have bought so many things and spent so much money in that store. Because of that I have told all my friends and family not to go there b/c the lady is totally rude and thoughtless and only cares if you buy something. This is a REALLY fun store to walk through. I always stop there when I'm walking through downtown Campbell, because the displays of pink, girly items catch my eye every time. Deb, the owner, is a lot of fun and I love to read her email newsletters. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I rarely find anything I can afford in there. She likes to keep it upscale and trendy, which is fine... but Campbell is not the wealthiest community, so I'm not sure how she can survive with those prices. i really really liked it here. the atmosphere was calm and friendly.. unlike SOME places where the employees practically breathe down your neck or dont talk to you at all. also i was able to find a very cute and modern printed summer dress that was like a much cheaper Diane Von Furstenberg. it was a little on the pricey side but what the hell, if it looks that good and i havent seen anyone else with it... here's my credit card! I just got back from Europe/Africa and I was looking forward to some boutique shopping...well it was dissapointing to say the least, it made me appreciate Simply Smashing even more. After passing tons of corporate been there done thats (Burberry, Izod, Chanel.....yawn) it was really hard to find anything remotely affordable or unique. The wares were just interesting! I loved the purses made out of food tins, such as olive containers, as well as the dresses and bags made out of candy wrappers and boxes. Simply Smashing had a variety of jewelry pieces, singular dresses, tees, lingerie, and the like. Granted, it was a bit out of my price range, but delighful to browse nonetheless. Stumbled in this boutique and purchased two great pairs of jeans ( Henry&Belle) dropped about 250$ after discounts. Nice owner but the only down side is the return policy. No refunds/ only store credit. Other than the jeans the rest of the clothes in my opinion are a bit for the mature crowd.
