Delicious, high-quality pizza at a good price, with much better crusts and dough than any of the chains around here. We ordered a half-cheese, half-pepperoni pizza. It was quite good; the cheese blend is quality, browns nicely, and has quite a bit of character in the flavor to it. It reheats in the oven really well, too. Bella Bites are cheese-filled, dough-lined pillows of goodness. Some of them soak in a little more oil than the others, but besides that it's a chance to savor the seasoned dough, in a convenient snackable format. We wanted to give Bella's a try since it is just down the street, so we ordered 2 pizzas for an evaluation for an upcoming party - a thin crust Cheese and Sausage, and a thin crust BarBQ sauce pizza with Pepperoni and Pineapple (don't knock it until you try it). The pizzas were ready in about 35 minutes (fine), the presentation in the box was excellent, even had some spices sprinkled on top (have not seen that for awhile) but there was hardly any sauce on either pizza, and as a result, very little flavor. Especially the BarBQ pizza. When I order a BarBQ Sauce pizza, I envision sauce running down my fingers onto the plate. Not this time. It was almost like the sauce was scraped off before adding cheese. I warmed some of the leftover BarBQ Pizza in our toaster oven for lunch today and added a teaspoon of our own BarBQ Sauce to each piece, and then the pizza was much better, worthy of 3 Stars, but still not a Wow pizza. Picked up the order, 2 antipasto salads and got a lg cheese pizza free..Good deal. BUT, was given wrong salads, didn't know this. Got home Bella's called to say you got wrong salads and we will come and deliver the correct salads right NOW... they did, was at my home in less than 10 minutes. Also let me keep the wrong salads because they cannot give them to someone else. I thought that was really nice of them letting me keep $8.99 salads. And by the way the antipasto salad is awesome, delicious. the pizza was delicious too. So it was a great dinner last night. This place recently changed owners. The new owner manages the business poorly and I would avoid at all costs. They've been spreading out coupons to get new customers but be warned. The first pizza is made well to draw in the new customers and consistently afterwards is horrible. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The pizza is made thin and the crust is always burnt (even when specifying for a pan crust). Not once but twice this has happened. The service is terrible as well and the owner and one of the servers had an attitude when questioned why the pizza consistency kept changing. I don't want to pay for burnt pizza with the wrong crust. I think that's fair. I'm all for supporting small businesses but not when food is terrible as well as the service being given. Go elsewhere for better pizza and to avoid the headache. I'm positive their signature thin, burnt crust is due to lack of carelessness and trying to cook the pizza fast. read more

Bella’s Pizza - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Carol Stream, Illinois

We had to postpone our daughter's 40th birthday party due to COVID-19. Finally we were able to have a backyard socially-distanced party. We had heard good things about Bella's Pizza and it was near her home so we ordered a few hundred dollars worth of food from there. Everything was perfect. We had many of the menu items and every single thing was wonderful. Eddie--the owner or manager--was a pleasure to work with. I gave him the people's names and all the food had a name on every bag or pizza box when we picked it up. It was hot and ready. He sent plates, napkins and silverware. Everyone at the party really enjoyed the food. It's probably one of the best pizzas I ever ate. So, I'd give this a 10 star rating if I could. I would very highly recommend Bella's Pizza in Carol Stream. :-) read more

Ordered a pizza from Bella's in Carol Stream, following the first Bears game. It was one of the best pizzas in the surrounding area. Over abundance of tasty ingredients, and a wonderful thin crispy crust. We are lucky to have great tasting pizza close to our doorstep. Good job guys! read more

UPDATE: I originally gave 4 stars because of a certain deal they had which is now gone. Their pizza by the slice is still a good deal but I have been there 3 times for slices and all 3 times they didn't have the slices ready so I had to wait 20 minutes for a slice. One of those times they burned the slices. When the pizza is fresh and ready it's a great spot for a slice. But if they don't have slices ready it kind of defeats the purpose. Call ahead if you want a slice. Lowering my review to 3 stars. Good deal on the slices, if they are ready. read more
