Friendly staff, greeted right away. I've been here once before when they first opened a while back, decided to give another try since they're on my street. I really love supporting local business. I hope that the neighborhood tries them So they get more customers. I got the honey dew milk tea with boba, not a lot of Boba tea spots have honeydew flavor because it's my Favorite flavor i gave them five stars. My hubby got Taro and woah was it such a deep purple! He also enjoyed his. I did see they have a menu for sushi rolls, and side dishes. I also saw a little refrigerator with macaroons. It's a cute small store with seats and I saw a corner with board games so it seems like they welcome people to come sit and chill. Bella's Boba Shop popped up in my Yelp Searches for "Hot and New" businesses and I was so excited to see that they offer milk teas and sushi. I stopped in on a Tuesday at about 11:30am and was excited to try a few things. At first the person helping me said they weren't serving food yet. I placed an order for the Lychee Jasmine Green Tea ($5.99) they had on special and sat down to wait. Within a few more minutes they let me know they could start taking sushi orders and I ended up getting Dao's Special Roll ($14.99) and the Spicy Salmon Roll ($12.99). The inside is very cute and more like a lounge than a restaurant. They have some couches and chairs for seating and tables which make it a good hang out spot. It seems like most people are taking the food to go though. They also offer ice cream, snacks and I was told in the winter they'll start serving sandwiches. My order took a bit to create, so you may want to call ahead if you're in a hurry. It was packed nicely and the rolls were well put together with fresh ingredients and a healthy amount of sauces. My tea was flavorful as well and the lychee flavor really came through in the tea. I'll definitely be back as they get settled in and I'm very interested in trying the sandwiches once they're on the menu. read more

Fantastic local family owned business! The people here are so nice and friendly. They really value their customers and treat everyone who steps foot inside like family. The Dao's special sushi roll is delicious! You would not expect to be amazed by the sushi at a boba shop, but the ones here are amazing. I forgot for a moment that I wasn't even at a sushi restaurant! Check out my pictures for justification - the rice to filling ratio is perfection, and this is a personal big deal for me because there are some places out there that make their sushi with more rice than anything and then that makes you feel cheated. Here, it was perfect for me, and the presentation is excellent. The papaya salad here is also yummy!! They are known to be the best in town, and this statement still holds to be true. They cook the sauce rather than having it saw lile most places so you can guarantee that it will be safe for everyone to eat. Let's not forget about their drinks! We tried their Thai Tea Smoothie and Avocado drink - both were great! Their drinks are not too sweet, which I love because I always end up having to ask to adjust my sweetness at other boba shops. Overall, this is a place I wish existed closer to my neighborhood because of their drinks and food and the overall vibe of this shop. I am so happy for this family and wish them the best! Boba drink taste water down, first time i order my drink still had powder in it. Maybe it had too much ice thats why it tasted water down.

Everything that we tried from the Papaya Salad, to the dried mango and the sushi was exquisite and delicious The papaya salad had a nice kick to it with small pieces of fresh tamarind. It was nice and refreshing! The drinks are perfect at regular sweetness so if your like me and don't like too sweet you'll enjoy the drinks. I can't have sushi but my wife said the sushi is extremely fresh and delicious and I like the change in pace of the green tobiko. She said the sushi was comparable to sushi you'd have a Japanese restaurant. The service is very good and all the workers are very nice. The inside has a homey feel and there is plenty of seating. The inside is bright and has a nice relaxing vibe. Great place to come eat and chat with friends. I will definitely be back soon because the jerky was sold out for the day but I'm so excited to try it next time I come in! If you haven't been here yet , come try this Sacramento gem! read more

Absolutely fantastic boba! So many favorites from this spot! First, their taro boba was some of the best I've had in a while! Then my husband got some sushi rolls which were surprisingly DELICIOUS - as our daughters said "this is better than Mikuni!!" 1st experience on 9/17/24 at 4:23pm: Cute, small place. Nice staff. We got a Watermelon milk tea with boba and a Coconut smoothie with boba. Both are ok, taste wise. First sip was ok. But it tasted kinda watered down. However, I like how they also sell some other items (ice cream, macaroons, papaya, etc.) I think they also sell a bag of chilli oil, which was really interesting. Bought 3 flavors and was highly disappointed, I'm gonna be completely honest the drinks here is not good, taste like very watered down milk like very watered down, no flavor whatsoever, 3 different drink but they all tasted the same very watered down.
