Two days later after my dog got groomed we notice my dog was licking and scratching a certain area of his stomach and it eventually became a rash. We had to take him to the vet and apparently she didn't clean her blades accordingly before cutting him. He now has to be on antibiotics to resolve the infection. Please see photos. I went into Bella's Grooming for the first time on Wednesday, February 8th. I was pleasantly surprised, walking in the atmosphere, was very comfortable and most importantly CLEAN for my pet Shih Tzu Bella. No crates they do not put your pet in a crate. I hate those crates. They have white picket fence which is absolutely fantastic and clean. I can't say enough about the cleanliness. Once I arrive to pick up Bella from her day at the spa as I like to call it I was so happy. It was the best haircut I've seen on my Bella, not the salon Bella lol. From her nails to the inside of her ears amazing is the word that comes to mind!! my Bella was so happy when I went there she was running around playing and the staff is amazing, friendly professional and most importantly they know how to groom your pet properly! She called back soon after and complained that my dog is "vicious." My do is literally the sweetest dog alive and only a year old! She left my dog uneven, wet, and smelling awful. We brought our 11 y/o Pekingese to Bella's in hopes of getting a nice haircut. Our dog was shaking immediately because there were big dogs barking and walking around the grooming area. When we came back to pick up our dog, she was completely shaved. We weren't even sure that it was the right dog. Pekingese dogs are double coated. You're not supposed to shave them. Now she's been shaking since her cut unless she's under covers. As a professional groomer I would think that they would know better than to completely shave her. We are very upset with the service as well as stressed about our dogs well being. The groomer also told us that she cut her nail too short so she gave us instructions on what to do if she bleeds. read more

Ok so, I do not really know where to begin... I made an appointment here for my beautiful kind mini golden doodle. It isn't her first time getting groomed but it has been some time since her last cut. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure an appointment at Petco, where she's been to before (without a problem), so I thought why not support a small local business in the meantime and you never know.... Well, I arrived to the location and let's just say I was a little taken aback but thought let's just see. The grooming area seemed small upon first thought. There were dogs running around the cutting area - instantly barking upon arrival. My dog, was immediately nervous. I asked the woman, who was nice, if the dogs (big dogs) were going to be out and about like that and she said yes, they're my dogs and I will put her in a cage... I thought oh ok, (I don't usually put my dog in any cage or kennel but, I understand it can be a thing necessary for grooming.) I filled out my paperwork as requested, and still dogs barking and jumping onto the counter... (Listen I get it, we love dogs but at a place of business there needs to be some structure - for those dogs who maybe aren't as socially inclined and have anxiety.) I left my baby and waited for the call....... approximately 2.5 hours later, after wondering why I hadn't received a call, I decided to call and check up. I spoke with the woman who told me that my dog had just been washed and was about to get dried. That she was backed up and apologized for the delay. I thought to myself, d@ng this is really taking long. But I assumed what she meant was that she was just finishing her up and apologized for the delay. To my very upsetting surprise, I received a call 10 mins after saying I had to pick up my dog because they weren't able to blowdry her. That she was getting anxious and aggressive..... what?!? I didn't want to argue, I was confused and honestly I just wanted to get my dog out! I ran to the store and picked up my baby. She was wet, shivering and looked scared as heck!! I wasn't charged for the wash, but honestly I would've been appalled had they asked me to. My dog left traumatized! The bath meant nothing really. The aftermath is what disturbed me but mainly her! I ran to Petco to see if I could schedule something ASAP and ended up running into our trainer. He looked confused and then worried! Finally he said, omg what happened to her?! I told him the story and he was in shock. We (he came with me) into grooming and he told the groomers what had happened and to see if they could help us. Of course, the groomer was confused, she knew my dog, she's been there, we've never had any issues. Luckily, they squeezed her in for a few days later because she was left with more mating than she went in with. It was just a mess, a traumatizing experience for my baby and a complete disaster of business structure. I honestly think, the woman wasn't a mean or bad person, I just felt like it was too much going on, too many dogs running loose and that environment isn't good for all dogs. It should be more of a calming experience, where all dogs can go in feeling safe and protected. read more

I waited 3 weeks for 2 appointments for my 2 dogs. The first appointment was canceled within 2 hours of the appointment. Okay, no problem, the second appointment the next day I brought the dog they canceled because she's the smelliest, they refused saying they don't have time for a big dog(30lbs), the same size as the one that had the appointment. It was 85° outside AND in this store, no A/C. I didn't want to come here because I felt I paid $60 more than I should have for a wash and cut, $135.49 on November 11th, 2020 for my mini-goldendoodle compared to Petco's $75.00, but now, for sure I won't be going back. read more

Groomers were so nice! I was unsure how my dog would react because I just rescues her a month ago and she has been rather nervous around strangers. She is going for training sessions to help her get over her fears. She just went in for a nail clipping and the groomer was extremely gentle with her. This was not the experience I had expected. My mother and I brought our 10 month Mini Goldendoodle to get a wash and a cut. When we got into the store it was very dark and had a weird smell. We walked into the grooming section and there was hair all over the floor, dogs everywhere and barking, and it was in a tight area. Our puppy was very scared and frighten by the dogs and the barking. There were dogs jumping on the counter while my mother was trying to fill out the paper provided. The lady behind us was very concerned and frighten by what was happening as well as we. We eventually gave our dog to the groomer and left. Two hours have passed and we were waiting for them to give us a phone call saying to pick up our dog. After waiting a few more minutes, my mother called them asking how long until they are done and they said that our dog was getting blow dried. So we were thinking that she probably just got cut and washed and now they have to dry her off. We waited for another 5-10 minutes when we got a call from the groomer saying that we need to pick up our dog and they cannot dry her. So we walk into the store and it smelt like poop in the store and dogs and hair were still everywhere. They gave us our puppy soaking wet with nothing on her. She said that she had not been cut yet and that she kept on screaming and crying while trying to dry her off so they couldn't groom her. We didn't have to pay since they didn't do anything to our dog and so we ended up leaving. Our dog was shaking and scared for the past hour. Their has been many complaints about this store from past customers. If you are looking for a grooming store for your pet, I do not recommend coming here. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I am HORRIFIED by this place. This grooming place scared my aunt's 10 month old puppy to death. My aunt brought her 10 month old mini golden doodle for a cut and groom. They made her pick up her dog soaking wet, smelling like poop and the dog was shaking and terrified. Bellas's Grooming did not cut or do anything, but make us pick up our scared puppy. The place was dark, creepy and dogs were barking like crazy. It looked like a horror movie. Supposedly this grooming place has similar complaints. Please do not come here. read more

So glad I found this place! The staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment we met them. My dog was not in a cage and he did not stay all day. No cages here,and not over crowded! True,kind hearted animal lovers. I arrived early to pick up my dog but stayed out of view of my dog ,so he wouldn't get excited and want to get to me. I could hear the staff talking in a pleasant voice to the animals in their care. The grooming tables are in plain sight, not hidden behind the door, like at some groomers. Brought my dog to this store and although the groomer gave an amazing cut..SHE placed my dog in danger. I specifically told Bella (groomer) before the appointment my dog is not dog-friendly and must be kept in a cage. When I arrived to pick up my dog EARLY, my dog was found unsupervised with a pit bull. In the past, my dog has been attacked by a pit bull and suffers from anxiety around dogs Even though, I confronted her about the fact that my dog was not in a cage, she blatantly lied about my hearing my instructions although she placed her my dog in the cage prior to the start of the appointment. Pretty good cuts. I stopped going due to price gauging during the pandemic. With the old owners, the price was the price. New owners- I haven't paid the same price on any of my dogs, always with an excuse, even after being quoted. To charge some $95 during a pandemic to just shave the dog down is extremely unfair.
