every time I bring my vehicle for service I ask for them to fill my washer fluid, and every single time they don't do it, it very frustrating. they have also left my vehicle unlocked outside over night a couple of times. read more

The staff is generally nice, but I feel the last few times I've been here for services I've been taken advantage of. First I ordered snow tires for my car and got the call when they were in to come in to have them put on my car. Sat for an hour only to be told they only had two of the four actually and had to find two more some where else. It took an hour to notice you were missing two tires? Two more hours went by and kept being told different excuses for why it still wasn't done. It finally got done but, my husband had to come get me in the meantime. This time I called to ask if I needed to schedule an appt to have my summer tires put back on. I was told no to just come in. Been sitting for an hour and a half. One woman came in well after me and has since left. Didn't think it took that long to change tires. I understand if they are busy (there are a lot of guys just standing around to be so "busy") but if they truly were so busy, I would have appreciated some warning when I called to ask about an appointment in the first place. At one point someone came out and promised the car was being worked on. I would hope so at this point! read more

Called to make an appointment, but was just told to come in when I was free. Came in at 1:30 pm today (3.24.16) to have leaky valve stems replaced on the tires of my truck. I asked if they could also balance them since they'd be off of the truck. I was quoted $40 and 2 hours. It has now been 3 hours and 15 minutes.....and still isn't done. read more

Great service! I went here on an emergency with a tire issue and they were extremely fast and friendly. I had never been to a Belle Tire before and these guys repaired a tire, fixed a bent rim, and even fixed my tire pressure sensors that a competitor screwed up months earlier I will definitely come here for all my tire needs, as these guys know what customer service is all about. read more

I can't give it a half/half review so I settled for 3 stars. I went in to get new tires on my Ford Escape for the winter and didn't set an appointment so the wait was 5 hours, which I was fine with because I didn't set an appointment and because the mall was next door. At around 5:30 p.m. I went to pick up my car and drive it on an hour and a half trip from Belle Tire. My tire pressure sensor light was on so I stopped at Meijer and bought a tire pressure reader and all my tires were good on psi. After the weekend, I took my car back to Belle Tire when I was back in town and asked them to check my tire pressure and one of the employees said my sensor was broken. My sensor wasn't broken before I took my car there, so I had to wait at Belle Tire for another 4 hours for them to get my car in and tell me that one of their guys broke my sensor when they put my tires on. They replaced it for free because it wasn't something I did. Overall, I did get my sensor replaced free of charge, but I wasn't satisfied with the breaking of it and the wait time when it was their fault. My tires get me down the road though, so I can't complain that much. read more

Do not go to these guys they ripped me off big time. Went to get my car inspected to become an uber driver and they charged me $1300 in repairs that were not a big issue. Been driving that car for 6 years and have not even put that much into it. Drives great and never have any problems. Went to a different mechanic and they said there were not any problems that needed any attention with my vehicle. Take your business elsewhere. read more

A $350 mistake. I bought 4 tires at Belle Tire in Okemos, and on my way home, the brakes were pulsing (the brakes did not pulse before I bought the tires). I went back to Belle Tire and the manager said there was no way that they caused the problem. I took my car to a mechanic who said the brake rotor was warped, and rotors can be warped if you tighten the wheel lug nuts too tight. Although I still should have had about 25,000 miles left on my old brakes, I needed to replace the front brake rotors and pads to fix the problem, and that cost me about $350. I will never go to Belle Tire again. Next time I will buy tires from a reputable mechanic, and steer clear of tire joints where they let burnouts work on your car. read more

I had an appointment at 11 for 4 tires and an alignment check with a 2500 truck. My vehicle did not move until 12:08, where my back tire was driven over a curb. I was told I had to "wait for one of the 2 lifts that can pick up my truck" which I would understand if I was a walk in. However, I made an appointment ahead of time so it was known that a 2500 truck was coming in. So I would assume one of the bays that can hold my vehicle would be planned to be empty at 11 when I arrive for my appointment. Totally unacceptable and I don't plan on bringing my business back. 3 hours for 4 tires and an alignment is unacceptable read more

Went in to get quote for back brake work(pads and rotors). Told us front and back needed to be replaced at a quote of just over $700. Then told us we needed suspension work of over $800. Took it to another shop that informed us front brake pads had 2/3 life left and only work we needed was back brakes. Had gotten tires here in past, but will never return for service again. read more

I have tried to get tires from this business several times. The first time, I had to wait three and a half hours for one tire change. My roommate tried to get a tire there yesterday, and was told he would have to wait three hours for one tire. He was told that if he made an appointment for the next day at noon, that he would be taken care of in a timely manner. He was early for the appointment, and was treated poorly as soon as he walked in. Even with an appointment, he was going to have to wait on their hard bench for an additional hour and a half for a single tire. When politely inquiring as to why it would take so long, the manager Conner was rude and disrespectful to him. The manager said: " So what, you think you can change a tire in 20 minutes? You should grab your keys and leave." I am dumbfounded as to how this place is still open. My roommate took his business across the street to discount tire. He was treated like a real person and with no disrespect. And it ended up being $2 cheaper. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY! THEY DON'T DESERVE IT! read more

This was my third visit to Belle Tire and every visit has been fantastic. I took my car in for a routine tire rotation and balance. I worked with Dominic during my visit who was extremely polite and very friendly. I mentioned how I had some weird shaking as well. I was quoted about a 2 hour wait time and received a call right around the 2 hour mark. They inspected my car and found the source of the problem (the tires I had purchased from an entirely different franchise). Once I returned to the store, the issue was thoroughly explained to me including showing me the problem on a tire in the store. They even printed out additional information for me. I wish I had bought my tires from them to begin with! read more

My wife took here car there today to get an out-of-balance wheel re-balanced. The young employee told her that the tires were junk with wear bars showing and that her problem was the tires. He insisted that she buy new tires instead of rebalancing the affected tire. This was not true and he was obviously just trying to take advantage of a women hoping she didn't know what she was looking at. The tires were fine with lots of life left. I took it to Bapperts in Williamston and had that wheel rebalanced for $8. It drives great again and she is happy. I can't believe how dishonest and deceptive Belle Tire is. We will never go there again read more

On July 25, 2018, we had our car towed to Belle Tires Okemos MI for a water pump and serpentine belt emergency replacement. The invoice came to $388.38 US and we picked up the car on July 26 and continued on to Ontario, Canada. We did not drive our car again until August 1 when my husband noticed oil all over the engine so we immediately brought our car to a nearby Toyota dealer. They found a large piece of the serpentine belt, 17 inches long and 1/4 inch wide, stuck in the crank seal which caused the leak. Toyota had to replace the crank seal and belt and shampoo the engine. That repair cost $440.Canadian. I called Belle Tires on August 2 asking for restitution and was advised to email all the information and it would be shown to the manager who was not in at the time. On August 10, I hadn't received a response, so I called and spoke with the manager and he informed me he would check with his supervisor. The manager said they did their work properly since there was no problem with the replacement parts and could not be held responsible, but would check with his supervisor. Later that afternoon, he emailed that he and his supervisor agreed they were not at fault for not removing the pieces of belt they could not see. The manager said there were pieces all over and they removed what they could see. Is that not all part of a repair?? Toyota found the piece despite the engine being covered in oil, there was no way they could pinpoint where it originated with oil all over. Again this was not a small piece, it's 17 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Needless to say, we are not pleased with the service and would never recommend Belle Tires to anyone! read more

I got a nail stuck in my summer car's tire. I removed the tire and took it in to get it patched because I know they take along time. 1.5 hours later they called and said it was done. Picked up the tire and went to put it on and noticed my rim was scratched all the way around about 4 or 5 inches from the center. I called to complain and Doug the manager said there is nothing I can do without looking at it. So I drove all the way back in so he could look at it. Of course when he looked at it he could not see the pattern scratched around every spoke or the brand new paint chips. He told me there is no way they could have done it. These rims are old and must have been like that. He then started looking at all my other rims to point out all the imperfections on them and said this one was no different. I told him I know the rims are old but it was not like that when I dropped it off. All he did was deny, deny, deny. He was standoffish, rude and his customer service was horrible. He said there is nothing I can do, we did not do that, it must have been like that. I was a fan of Belle for a couple years. I bought the tires for the car there ($450.00). I bought the tires for my truck there($1000). I got my windshield replaced there($200). I told him in the last 6 months I have spent $1200 here and if he can't do anything for me he will never see me again. He never said another word he just shrugged and walked away. I will never go back there again and I will tell anybody that will listen to never go there. read more

I have had Belle Tire in Okemos fix my car a couple times, and had no problem with them. This was when they had just opened their location in Okemos. Last month I came in to ask for an estimate on what it would cost to get my back rotors fixed on my car. They were busy at the front desk, and I had to wait to talk to someone (not long). The manager , I presume, asked how he could help me. He told me that they couldn't give out estimates because they were "legally binding". Hmmm... never heard that before. They wanted me to wait while they looked at the car. I basically just needed a ball park figure so I could have an idea on the price. So I drove over to Auto Tech down the street, he gave me an estimate. I brought it in two days later, they did the work and put on brake pads for free. My car is running great. Actually pretty disappointed. Went in with two problems -- a jammed forward passenger seat (obviously, something was caught in the track) , a noise in the front and, might as well throw in an oil change. After waiting three hours, the oil was changed (a plus), they diagnosed a bearing issue (a plus) but simply forgot to fix the front seat -- which, again, was the primary complaint I had. When the tech brought the car around, I asked about the front seat -- and the technician who obviously hadn't even looked at it, took a flash light 2 minutes later said "nothing I can do". So, I took the car to the dealership -- they had it fixed in 20 minutes. If one waits for 3 hours for an oil change and to get the car fixed....one might expect they TRY to fix the car. Save your time, go right to the dealership....at least they will try to fix the car. It might be great for tires---- but horrible for any other car service. read more

After buying tires for three sets of cars, I will no longer be a Belle Tire customer, rather I will be shopping at their competitor Discount Tires across the street. I bought a set of Michelin Tires for my 2011 Malibu less than 12,000 miles ago. When I bought the tires I was told I would get email reminders to come in for tire rotation. A search through my email box showed tons of email from Bell attempting to sell me something, but no rotation reminders, so I had to take it upon myself to try and track the mileage. I took the car back in after driving approximately 6,700 miles for tire rotation. The salesman assured me that it was not too late, as far as meeting the warranty requirement to rotate every 6,000 miles and they performed the work. Today, when I called in to inquire if it was time for another rotation, the guy that answered the phone told me that they show I have not had a tire rotation since buying the tires. Wrong, I told him and that he needed to update his system with corrected information or lose me as a customer. He said that he could not do so and I asked to be called by the manager. The manager called my husband first, then called me. My car, my tires, my money and he calls my husband??? That was also wrong and highly offensive. The manager tried to dominate the conversation, talk over me and repeatedly said that if the work was done there would be a record in the system and claimed he had done an extensive search in the system. I had found it curious that I left after the first rotation without an invoice, but wasn't concerned because it was free. I let him know that I was done with Belle Tire. So is my husband, who is also a feminist. He had an experience where he went in for his last tire rotation and was told he needed a $1000 repair on his suspension. A second opinion was sought at Bappert Automotive and they did not agree with the assessment. Bell tire, three strikes and YOU ARE OUT!. read more
