Absolutely nothing lil about this place. I came in at a weird time between lunch and dinner and was sat and served quickly. Thankfully, they still had cinnamon rolls left (!) and I'm so glad I didn't look at any photos bc omg it's a monster. And so good. It came with a whole moat of icing too which was so funny. It's 10000% better warm I also got a breakfast plate that came with hash browns, eggs, sausage, and biscuit. Everything on the plate was buttery, which was interesting. I personally like my hash browns and sausages crispier, but still fine. It was just so much food. Overall, not a bad spot. Everything besides the cinnamon roll was fine imo. The people there were nice and the vibe is extremely classic American diner.

After landing in Seattle we were starving and wanted a quick bite. My girlfriend said this was one her favorite breakfast spots to take her dad. This is your typical no frills diner with quick food and service. Being in Seattle, I opted for seafood and got the classic tuna melt with a side of chowder while my girlfriend got the omelette. Nothing really stood out except that it was hearty and tasty and exactly what you want out of a diner. Solid spot for breakfast food but do expect a small wait as this place is very popular. Mediocre diner serving no frills food. I had the vegetarian omelete with cheese which came with hash browns and toast. Everything was greasy and heavy. The coffee was also somewhat weak. The redeeming factors were the excellent cinnamon roll and the attentive service. If you're going to go here, get the cinnamon roll. Otherwise, don't go out of your way.

Your "truck stop" diner ambiance, with the classic diner menu. The establishment isn't a bad place to get a meal, but nothing left me setting up another visit. The food was prepared exactly how we ordered it, and came out pretty quickly... an that was the last we saw of the waiter for the majority of the meal. Again, I will mention what we ordered was prepared as requested and was good

Lil' Jon's Restaurant and Lounge is one of those places in Bellevue that's stuck around long before the high-rise towers and Californians came to play and settle here, which immediately makes this a win. There's something to be said about those classic businesses still intact in an ever-growing Bellevue, including Lil' Jon's. I can't believe it took me so long to make my way here, but actually, I can believe it since I hardly ever go out for breakfast, which this place primarily is known for - classic breakfast entrees. Sure, they have a lunch menu of sandwiches, soups and salads, but breakfast is what you come here for. My friends and I went to Lil' Jon's for breakfast on a Sunday morning and yes, the place was packed, especially since it was a few days after Christmas, so everyone was in town. For the four of us, we waited for about half an hour, which we didn't mind. They do have seats/a waiting area by the entrance. I ordered the biscuits and gravy dish and we all shared the cinnamon roll. We heard the cinnamon rolls are a must-try, and quite honestly, I think you can skip out on this. We were told when we ordered one around the late morning that we were taking one of the last ones as they sell out of these babies, so maybe that's why the cinnamon roll wasn't all that tasty as it wasn't warm and soft. It tasted like it was sitting out for awhile, and was not easy to cut through which is surprising since it's dough. But yeah, skip the cinnamon roll. If you have to try it for yourself, note that it's massive, so is easy to share. However, my biscuits and gravy were solid. I love country gravy, which there was a good amount of, especially on top of the soft-baked biscuits. I would've preferred the sausage in the gravy to have been ground pork sausage, which is normally how this is made, but the cut-up sausage links were fine. I like that you can also get eggs however you prefer, so poached for the win! Anyway, Lil' Jon's is a staple in Bellevue that all Bellevue residents should try at least once. Come here for the unlimited amounts of drip coffee, biscuits and gravy and the friendly staff. We had fun.

Came for breakfast today and I don't think that I have ever raved about the quality of soda at Lil Jon's , just the right amount of carbonation to syrup ratio and they soda is never flat! It was busy today but as usual the service was amazing and the food was exceptional!

My new favorite brunch spot, and it's only a few minutes from me! Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and got greeted and seated right away. The overall ambiance was very pleasant and old school, yet very cozy. Service was excellent. Our server whose name I forgot was very friendly and warm. Checked up on us regularly and made sure we had our refills. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict was pretty solid but the chicken fried steak was probably one of the best I've ever had. Definitely coming back.

We were nearby and decided to have brunch here last weekend. The place was packed, but we were seated quickly. We ordered Vegetable Omelet, Eggs Benedict, 1/2 French Toast, side of Bacon, Coffee, and Hot Chocolate. We loved all the items we ordered, the ingredients were fresh, and everything well made and delicious. This is great breakfast served all day, we'll be back soon.

The food was decent. I wish there was a little more variety or options for breakfast. I also wish there were more vegetarian or vegan options. The server was perfunctory. It's a classic diner with retro decor and it's pretty busy and noisy. It's got a fast turnover rate for tables which is great if you're in a hurry.

Obviously the person on the grill wasn't trained or wasn't paying attention. Pacing was also a problem. Waited pretty long to order. Then salads came while we were finishing last bites of the appetizer. Then entrees came while I was literally in the middle of my salad. Talk about rushed. That salad would have been good if the shaved parm had been shaved. However, the pieces of parm were huge - really thick. Can't imagine who would think that was a good bite on a salad. The Broccolini was half cooked. I could barely cut the stem with a steak knife. Obviously. I couldn't eat those stems. They did not have a flight of wine that was all reds (i don't drink white wine). So why 4 stars instead of less? The mushroom toast appetizer was fantastic. I shouid have stopped there and would have been happy. The ceasar dressing and large crouton were good, even if the shaved parm was a bust. Once the steak was served to me medium as I'd ordered it, it was delicious and the fries were crispy and went well with the steak. I enjoyed the glass of wine I ordered. I hope they get their act together - such potential!

And this one stood out right away. Light to medium-bodied, led by bright cherry notes with a subtle hint of spice, and a smooth, easy finish that keeps you going back for another sip. It was such a nice way to unwind and honestly made for a really fun date with my fiancé. Elisa was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, and we had so much fun learning about everything we were tasting. We got to try some of their newer releases, which was such a fun part of the experience. The Viognier was definitely my top favorite. I loved it so much that I ended up getting an extra splash at the end, which was so kind of them! The Cinsault was interesting because we were told to expect cherry, Jolly Rancher, juicy and fresh flavors, but for us it came across a little more bitter and dry than we expected. The Grenache reminded us a lot of the Block 9 Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon, if you've ever tried that one. We also got the charcuterie board to snack on while we tasted. The grapes were especially crispy and fresh, and it was nice to have something to nibble on, especially because I was so hungry by the time we arrived! I had read some of the previous reviews about the board, so I came in with fairly low expectations. It definitely wasn't the most elaborate charcuterie board I've ever had and probably wouldn't be something I'd order again for $20. It felt more like a pre made snack box than something especially memorable. We still completely finished it, though! The space itself is so cute and beautifully designed. We happened to go on a sunny day and the natural light coming through the windows made it feel especially bright and inviting. It was comfortable inside and never felt too hot or too cold. I also love that Sama Cellars is right in the heart of Redmond Town Center, so it's really easy to make an afternoon out of it. There are so many shops and things to do nearby that you can easily browse around before or after your tasting. Overall, we had such a lovely afternoon. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and it was genuinely just a really enjoyable experience. I'd definitely come back to Sama Cellars for another afternoon of wine tasting!

It just doesn't make sense. I've been here before and have always sat in the front area, which has comfortable cushioned seating. This time, we were seated in the back area, and the chairs there were honestly so uncomfortable. After sitting for about two hours, all of us literally had backaches. When you're charging premium prices for food and drinks, comfortable seating should be a basic part of the experience. As you can see from our bill, we spent around $300, and at that price point, sitting on cheap, uncomfortable chairs really takes away from the high-end bar experience. We actually could have stayed longer and ordered more, but the seating made all of us so uncomfortable that it completely killed the vibe. We also shared this feedback with our server. That being said, I do want to specifically mention that the staff was wonderful and the service was 5/5. Our server, Andrew, was great! He recommended a drink to my friend based on her taste preferences, and she absolutely loved it. Overall, the staff was very nice, attentive, and fun. I really hope Civility & Unrest considers upgrading the seating in the back area to comfortable cushioned chairs or sofas. It would make such a huge difference and would better match the otherwise classy atmosphere and premium pricing.
