I spoke with Roy the owner of MedEx and he has gone above and beyond. I need new batteries as I'm going to see Green Day on Monday and all the sudden my battery stopped charging fully so I was able to get the VA to approve a purchase order for my batteries and he's coming by Monday before the concert to install the batteries so I won't be possibly stuck in Seattle with dead batteries. After spending far too many hours trying to find a place to get my wife's scooter lift repaired I found this place. The tech knew his stuff. He admittedly was a little arrogant but it was arrogance he was able to back up with knowledge and skills. So I'll take it. Prices were fair for skilled trade but the actually facility looks a bit run down so you might expect to be getting discount service. All in all an excellent experience. read more

I called to sell a brand-new custom wheelchair and dealt with Mona. I suggest you don't deal with her. I called her to let her know how much the insurance Co paid for the wheelchair, but never gave a price on how much I wanted, she only said that we would have to wait for the owner to return. She emailed me once the owner returned to say that he said it was valued at $5k, which is correct, no argument there. What really got to me is she didn't respond to my email when I asked, "what's the owners best offer"? I called her just for her to tell me they only do consignments. Information that would have been VERY USEFUL 30 days ago when I first called. I called to specifically ask if they BUY new wheelchairs and she said yes, if the owner thinks it can be sold. She wasted my time and had poor communication skills. The worst part is, I am a case manager for disabilities, and I will make SURE I never refer or authorize payment for any products from them due to this ridiculous experience. Imagine being in a horrible accident that landed you in a hospital for 4 months and the only compensation I will ever get from the uninsured motorist is a wheelchair I can't even sell. Do better Mona and don't waste people's time. read more

Horrible! I took back a scooter that we rented for my husband. It came with a small basket that fell off day 1. We called and let them know, also telling them it was no big deal, we could wire it on. Upon returning the scooter, I watched two male employees stand inside watching me struggle with the device, not even offering to open the door for me. Then it got worse, I was told I needed to pay for the basket because it was broken and had been wired on. I explained that it was that way on day one and I called about it. They basically told me"too bad, you owe for it". I was charged $85 for the basket!! I went home, looked it up on amazon and saw you could buy exact one for 12.98! I called and reported this, saying maybe the basket price you looked up was for a large heavy duty one (which are 70/80 dollars on amazon), again was basically told, too bad! I URGE EVERYONE TO TAKE PUCS BEFORE LEAVING THIS PLACE! They will never get another dime from me or my insurance company. read more

I have used this company since 2016 for various equipment needs. I bought a walker, a scooter, ramps, a hospital bed with mattress and a lift system.I was able to keep and care for my husband at home because of the helpful staff. If anything needed adjustment etc. they were more than helpful and even came out to our house when we needed help with the equipment. Being a caregiver is the hardest and one needs all the help and advice you can get, without these people we would have had to use a nursing home facility. Thank God that didn't happen! I now use them for my own needs and would highly recommend them. This is a good company with a helpful staff. read more

There are better, more honest medical supply store owners. You would be wise to spend your money elsewhere.
