The guys that came out to move me were very nice and worked quick, and all seemed well until they left and I started noticing how much damage was done - presumably from poor loading and handling. As soon as they left, I noticed my large flat screen tv was turned to face a wall in a corner...because it was very clearly damaged, he must've noticed it and tried to hide it. I turned it on and the screen was cracked and completely, irreparably damaged. Lots of little dings, dents and scratches on my furniture...that's understandable to a degree. Customer service then took over a week to address my claim, said that I should've purchased the added insurance...silly me for assuming the movers would handle things with care. The first settlement offer was $86 for a $450+ TV; I countered, asking for at least half the value of the TV and they countered with $136. Acceptable? No. But if it means I'm done with them forever and can warn anyone I know to pay the extra money to hire a professional moving company that doesn't send a couple college kids out...then sure. I would give this company a negative 200 if I could. Absolutely worst and I mean worst moving company ever. My fiance used them three times prior without ever an issue.... Not this time. Prior to us moving we found out that they contract long distance moves to a third party driver and only provide the manpower...Not what was told to us during our booking. Our day was set up for March 24th, 2022. At 8:00 a.m. They guarenteed it would be to it's destination by the 31st. Bellhops called a few days prior to ask if the driver could get there on the 1st instead.....Didnt really have a choice, so we agreed. That morning, Three out of the four movers showed up, and the owner of the moving truck showed up a little earlier then them. Everything started out good and they were professional in uniform, with a great personality. They began to move our stuff fast and look took care. About an hour later the 4th individual showed up look like he just rolled out of bed with no uniform on and looked like he hadn't showered in a few days. This particular gentleman did barely any work. Let the other three move everything around while he huffed and puffed and sat around most of the time doing a poor shrink wrap job on tiny pieces of furniture. The gentleman then decided about an hour into helping move all our stuff into the truck that he was going to light up a joint and smoke pot on the front of our property. Now while it is legal in the state we moved from, our realtor and buyer were supposed to show up at any given time. And just because it's legal doesn't mean it's okay to do that on somebody's property. Things started to get slightly worse in the afternoon. The movers started to slack off and take their time....Pieces of furniture we're not being wrapped properly and they were starting to be careless with boxes and furniture. They did not have enough shrink wrap, so I had to run to U-Haul and buy it out of my own pocket. They had no dolly, and a huge Tangled ball of straps that they used to strap our stuff into the truck. What really took the cake this day was that my wife had medication that was taken out of the kitchen drawer, deliberately. Even after we bought them lunch, tipped them and helped them move to make it easier. At the end of the first day the truck got loaded, and we came out to the driver pulling away without even locking the back door! The arrival was FAR worse. The truck was on time at 11am, however the 4 workers that were supposed to be there at 11....didn't show up on time. Instead only 3 workers showed up, and they all showed up 45 min late, without warning. We had our stuff put into a storage unit,.because we are buying a house. According to the very nice people at the units, the workers showed up...yet again disheveled, not uniform, and we're climbing the fence to get into the unit, rather then call or go to the office. The movers also gave the site staff issues multiple times prompting them to call us ... We had to get a second storage unit, because the workers didn't pack the unit correctly. So this is now costing us an additional $300 a month due to their sloppy, half done work. Had it been packed properly we could have done with one unit....instead, they just threw out stuff into the unit, put heavy boxes on top of fragile and Glass. We had boxes marked with orange tape that we made our long distance coordinator FULLY AWARE, needed to be put in the front of the unit. Not a single box was put into the front of the unit. Between the loading, unloading and transit....damaged approximately $10,000 worth of our stuff .We had to spend two days unpacking the unit, going through every box, taking photos and repacking the unit. Defeating the whole purpose of hiring movers. What was Bellhops response? Had to fight with them for weeks to get any kind of replacement..... Best they did was $1,900.... ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!! Customer service is condensending and disrespectful. If only the CEO knew this is how they were doing business.... Know that they only reimburse you for the weight. So if the truck burns and you lose all your belongings....expect a $2000 check.... Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else read more

Wow , Wow, WOW! These guys...Mateo arrived early to check everything in and answer any and all questions I had. When Elohim and Keagan joined they all worked cohesively as a smooth unit. I can tell they know what they're doing. My father has moved me over 20 times in the past 15 years and it was nice for these guys to take his direction on where to place my stuff. As nice as it is when family helps, this was so much smoother and less stressful. I 100% will use bellhop again. I used to move all my stuff with multiple trips in my truck....never again. Prepared for this move for over 6 weeks had everything labeled perfectly with large numbers and wrapped to make things as easy as possible. This should have been the easiest quickest move ever. Booked this company for 3 hours as it is the max it should have taken to do the job. Team took almost 8 hours even after adding another person to help. I was quoted 480.00 for the move they charged my CC over 1500.00 - Will be disputing. Completely inexperienced team had basically no idea how to handle basic moving tasks. Complained constantly about how they barely get anything from the company and Bellhop keeps it all. Furniture damaged. They literally wrapped 2 things - and charged me a service fee of 150.00 Nothing was covered or handled with care. Have broken dishes and items in boxes labeled Fragile and scratched and damaged furniture that was dropped and bumped. Moving is difficult so you assume to hire professionals to help. This is not what Bellhop is. Called for followed up on issues was told would be contacted by team never heard back. Finally reached someone a week later and was told too bad that's the charge. Never use this company - All agents are in foreign country and hire random people and trucks to do the job - They do not stand by their work and your items will arrive damaged. So far I am NOT impressed. The 1st people I spoke with were great... Of course they want your money at that point. I lost the initial credit card that I made the reservation with, so when it came time for the agreed upon amount to come out of my account, it declined because that card no longer existed. I received an email stating I needed to rectify ASAP. I completely understand that. However the email stated that I had until 5pm the night before my move to take care of it. My move is/was scheduled for 3/16. Which means I have until 5pm tonight to rectify. I called at 8am this morning to give a new card number, only to find out they canceled my reservation LAST NIGHT. Call went like this... 8am - hold time 17 minutes to talk to 1st person. They transferred me to concierge. He said no, that I need customer care and transferred me back. Another 10 minute hold, just to be hung up on. I call back. Whole story all over again AND THEY HANG UP ON ME AGAIN. I call back a THIRD time and ask for a manager. I speak to Sallie who is less than accommodating. She basically tells me I am lying and that the email sent to me says I need to have it taken care of by 7pm Sunday night. But that they can reschedule me, however I won't have a guaranteed reservation. Nice. They take the entire amount for my move and charge it to the new card and promise I will have an answer as to whether or not I will have movers or my stuff will just be sitting on a sidewalk...... Guess what, it is 4:28 pm. No clue if I have movers, but Bellhop sure the hell has my $500 so I can't even beg another company to help me. I am currently on hold and have been for 16 minutes and 50 seconds. Of course this is after I have called and been hung up on..... Again. Oh! I actually forwarded Sallie the email that she swears didn't exist. She responded that it was an automated email that was sent via internal processes, and an error on their part... So I'm not a liar huh Sallie?? She did offer a 10% discount on my move... How nice. I already had that on the first reservation from a welcome email when I had reached out for a quote. OH!!! AND they increased the charges from $169/ hour to $179/ hour. So in actuality they are charging me at least $30 more for their mistake. I have now been on hold for 31 minutes and 08 seconds. I still have no idea if I have movers or not... But Bellhop sure has their money. The sad part is, I already referred 2 people to them who booked moves. I will make sure to tell them to cancel. Don't do it! Stay away from this company! The package they wanted to sell me was for 7 hours abd r movers. I told her it was a 4 bedroom house and it was impossible to move that much with a 3 hour load, 1 hour travel and a 3 hour unload. She said she'd get me 6 movers. I told her I was very skeptical but she assured me 6 movers could get it done. I agreed and signed the contract. Shame on me. The day of the move comes and 1 mover was a no show and received no communication from the company. The lead said he'd take care of it. Nope. I stayed on hold and nobody ever answered when I called. After 4 hours with stuff still in my house backyard and garage we took the 2 trucks to unload them. The lead tells me they got a 6th gut to help unload tgst would meet us at my new address. He did but due to taking an extra hour to load there qas no time to put it in my house so rather than pay 7 dollars a minute I had them just drop it in my garage and only take the beds and dressers in. Tooooo stressful watching the clock! I had to hire another company to move the rest of my house and move the boxes from the garage. I tipped the movers 100 bucks each because I felt bad for them in the heat and they were great however this company had to be reminded nor to charge me for the 6th mover for more than an hour and a half. They gave me an 80 dollar credit on a bill on a 2700 dollar move. When I complained that I didn't get done and sent pictures of what was left and said the 6th man would have been able to load that had he showed up I was pretty much told too bad. They don't pay the movers close to what they deserve and their customer service is horrible. If you have a small move maybe thry would work for you but if you have a large move DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! BTW I asked when I booked if the breaks the movers need would be counted in the working time I paid for the said no but IT DID. And when the first gut shows up go scan the QR code the clock starts even if they are not all there. Don't scam the code until your whole crew is there. I would love to give these courteous, friendly and hard workers a five star but they do lack in loading knowledge. They're fast, they showed up on time and were careful in moving things out of the house with no damage. They are so fast they forgot half of one of the bedroom sets.. the bed frame, headboard, footboard, nightstand. After they left is when I noticed. Had to find a willing neighbor to help me remove items from pod and rework the forgotten items. Also they like to jam things in to make them fit.. hoping things make it in one piece. Move from Las Vegas to Tucson Arizona. Used bellhop to pack and deliver furniture . Almost Every single piece of furniture (24) Items were either damaged or had scuff marks on them. Dealing with her claims department has been nothing short of a nightmare it's almost like they're nonexistent. Twice they've sent me blank proposals for me to go fix my own furniture. Most unprofessional company I've ever ran across my entire life it seems like they would be interested in fixing their mistakes but they're not they want you to go do everything pay upfront and everything and then you'll probably have to fight them for your money. It takes them weeks to return an email and trying to get somebody in that department and the phone is next to impossible. Unless you want your furniture completely destroyed I wouldn't use these guys again. The only thing I can say is booking with them was easy and they did show up on time but in my opinion the guys didn't use nearly enough blankets or padding just classic wrap which seemed to wear right through when the furniture rub together during the drive. It's sad because it started out so good it ended so bad and I still don't have a resolution and it's been two months I even provided them with a furniture doctor in Tucson hoping they would deal with the guy directly and I could step out of it just make plans for the guy to come to my house and fix the furniture they wouldn't even go so far as to help me out with that they just don't care. Customer service was phenomenal. We live in a 3 story house and had a treadmill that we needed moved to the 3rd floor and we just could not find anyone affordable to do it for less than $300 from other moving companies. Eventually I found Bellhops and chose them due to their Labor Only pricing that requires a minimum 1 hour. While I knew the move would be less than an hour, $109 on a Sunday afternoon seemed reasonable to me so I scheduled it. On that Sunday, right at 5 PM the first of 2 movers arrived. The move promptly notified their Manager that the 2nd mover did not come and truly showed he felt bad that everything was not handled as it should. After an hour, customer service called me directly to apologize and reschedule for the next day and said due to the company not being able to fulfill their agreement they would not be charging us for the move. The next day we were able to get the treadmill moved in about 20 minutes and I received a receipt showing it the charge was $0. At the end of the day, I gave Bellhop a 5 star review because they made sure to make it right after the initial hiccup and helped us tremendously by getting that treadmill to the 3rd floor. I definitely recommend them as their quote, scheduling and updating process from start to finish is quite high tech so you know where you are every step of the way. They loaded my truck. Didn't use provided straps. Put heavy boxes on top of light. On the move all the boxes at the front tumbled and ruined my furniture. Their customer service refused to open a complaint because I had an access to the track to add a few more small items to the back of the truck before the move. And they make you leave tips and reviews for the loading team before you actually get the delivery so you don't know the quality of the loading done. Stear clear. read more

When I moved to Nevada April 15,2020 we had Luke and his team. They were amazing. They knew what they were doing, they worked very well as a team and moved everything with care. I highly recommend Luke and his team. Now for the bad news. When I moved this time on Monday September 28, 2020, this team was unorganized, they didn't work well as a team and they moved items carelessly. They broke my entrainment center and glass. They broke my vintage ironing table, they broke my bed frame And one of the drawers to my bed frame, and they didn't move everything. They left at least 6 carloads of items because they said they were tired. There were boxes and loose items left in the storage unit which forced us to have to pay for another month of storage. Only one person knew what he was doing. One was busy talking on his cell phone and one was busy looking around and pulling up his pants all the time. The one who broke the entrainment center tried to move it by himself because which is why it was dropped and broke. On top of that, the driver of the moving truck sat out in the truck, in my driveway which prevented me from leaving right away to gather the rest of the belongings. Not happy with this move. Okay. Wow. Wow. Wow. Where to begin? -We ordered the packers to come on Sunday at 2pm. At exactly 1:55 (that's right. Five minutes before they were supposed to arrive) I got a call saying that they would not be coming, because there was no one available. I was told that they would have to come on another day, but since Bellhop's movers were arriving on Monday, we had to have the kitchen packed beforehand, so rescheduling was not a possibility. We ended up doing it ourselves. -The movers arrived the following day roughly 90 minutes late and understaffed. It was supposed to be five guys but only four showed up, then one of them left early. They were great guys, though, and very nice and professional. None of this was their fault, since Bellhop had sent them to another job right before ours and substantially underestimated the time required. -Bellhop said the move would take a total of 5 hours to pack and unpack. It took 8 1/2. -The truck driver complained to me that he had to leave for an Amazon job after ours and that it was taking too long. -The lead guy in charge of the moving team said we would just take two trips when it looked like the single truck would not be enough. However, later that night the driver said he couldn't stay for another trip and so the job was left unfinished. -Bellhop told me that I would have to pay for a second move if I wanted my remaining furniture transferred. I would also have to wait several days because they currently had no available slots open for at least 3 days. -I was told I could get a 15% discount on the second move. Yes, only 15%. It should be free. I paid for a full house move and didn't receive one, so now I'm supposed to pay again? What kind of service is that? I understand you have to cover your expenses, but if you can't do the job I paid you for the first time, what sense does it make to pay you twice? This has to be the worst move I've ever had. Everything that could go wrong ended up going wrong. We also have some damaged furniture, which just feels like icing on the cake of this disaster situation. Bellhop's customer service was so unhelpful and tried to act like they were helping us out with 15% off, but considering everything that happened, they should be embarrassed. In short: Terrible customer service. Late but nice workers. Packers didn't show up. Unfinished job. Tried to charge us for a second move. Do not use this service. They will try to rip you off and they do not care about their customers. This is just another sleezeball company out to make a dollar and frankly, they should be ashamed. read more

One of the trucks broke down before getting to our origin, and yet they were on top of it. I hired them to move me on the last day of my lease. About 30 minutes before they were supposed to show up, I got a call saying that they might not be able to move me. I paid for a deposit a few days earlier and was told that I had a reservation. But now, because it is the same day I needed to move, at the end of the month, I had to figure out what I'm doing. So, now, I have to rent a truck and move by myself because the friends that would help have made plans or are at work. This means I had to leave anything that I couldn't get into the truck myself. Lost a TV stand, a cabinet, a shelf, and a mattress and boxspring. So... I'm out several hundred dollars to replace this stuff minimum. And their offer to reimburse was $150. I was too exhausted to even barter this number. Apparently just because you paid them and have a reservation it doesn't mean anything. read more

Nice guys but 2 of the 4 had no to little experience moving with no gloves and ended up permanently scratching our floors. They had no floor runners to prevent wear and scratches. Nice guys, worked hard and fairly fast. BUT, damage to the TV, standing desk, coffee table, and console table! All of these are expensive items. They were apparently packed such that other items rubbed against them or pressed into them, as with the TV. The TV screen was also bent in its stand and a big gouge left in the stand with a scrape on the sound bar. Obviously, I will not recover the value in these items. read more

They sent a team of inexperienced children who didn't even come prepared to disassemble furniture, didn't use dolly or safety gear, didn't wear masks, were just there to run the clock and scam us. You better take two trucks even if you don't need it or your stuff will be left because they don't do their jobs and the company won't take responsibility for them. They didn't wrap or protect any brand new furniture and damaged all of it. They will not give you what your damages are worth and will not negotiate even though they break a contract.
