Cheese curds with marinara. Plenty for leftovers when you get delicious pizza for two.

    - Nice owner and cooks - The place smells divine! - Pizza by the slice if you want to test it out first - Great price for tasty fried cheese curds Overall another Neil Diamond meal (so good, so good, so good!).

Pizza slices and combos available. Their thin crust game is solid. (Tavern) Due to their location, it's easy to grab a pie and head over to a friend or family's home. Pizza comes out of the oven piping hot and I can make it back to a dinner table fairly quickly enough to enjoy it while still warm. Crust intact. They also offer pasta, appetizers and deep dish. I have tried both styles of pizza. Their thin is best, I'm not yet sold on their deep. The last time I ordered one I picked up just as it came out of the oven. Wish I had looked at the pie prior to taking it home. The bottom was soggy and slices drooped as we grabbed slices. Smh. Everything had to go back into the oven. Based on the ingredients, I'd be open to try again. Well done with a properly baked bottom. The kitchen likes to improvise on pizza styles. Recently they offered an Al pastor pizza with pineapple! So if you're ordering, best to call in and see what new styles are available. Pasta? (Advice to staff: when mixing pasta with sauce, allow them time to bind together. Add in the cheese and let them cook together for a time. Otherwise in the carryout container it isn't going to look properly created and the pasta separates from sauce like they weren't made for each other)

This is how you do deep dish pizza, great sauce, good amount of cheese, and a great crust! I ordered four deep dish pizzas online on Slice so I could get them before heading back to Nebraska. The pizzas took a bit longer than the estimated time but I had no problem waiting, Bellonas is always worth it! The person at the register even threw in a free soda for the wait. While I was waiting, they brought out their pizzas that they sell by the slice. I was a bit hungover so I bought a couple of pepperoni slices, which also includes a soda with the purchase of the two slices, score! When I tell you that slice brought me back to life! So delicious! All my family is excited that I brought them their own pizzas, even if it is now technically "left over" pizza, it is still the best deep dish we have tasted. Do not waste your time at those chain pizza stores, COME TO BELLONAS! You won't regret it sorry for not taking a picture of the deep dish!

I love grabbing an Italian beef every week from Bellona's, the service is quick & the workers are very nice. Occasionally I grab a small cheese pizza with basil

Pizza has been amazing for more than 10 years. Only complaint is sometimes not enough sauce. Cheap delivery fee, nice friendly.

One of the…read morecouples in our group and frequent patrons and recommended this restaurant as our place to meet. I live in Buena Park, and I have driven down Irving Park Road, passing this restaurant one hundred times, but never gave it much thought. The space was originally a pizza restaurant called Hearth & Crust and owned by the same people. From what I understand, they closed their original Bueno Terra restaurant in Logan Square and reopened it in this Hearth & Crust space. In fact, the Hearth & Crust logo is still etched into the glass at the inner front of the restaurant. The restaurant was packed, especially with families, but they sat us in a semi-private, glass-enclosed room at the front of the restaurant. The sliding windows were open to the sidewalk and Irving Park Road. That kept the room pleasantly cool, but it was noisy. I could not hear anyone talk except the people sitting right next to me. We had one waiter assigned to our table--someone who knew the people in our group who frequent Bueno Terra--and he was personable and attentive. For the table, we ordered the arancini and fried calamari. Both were excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the Melanzana alla Emilia Romagna--eggplant medallions with a crunchy almond crust served with tomato basil sauce and topped with caramelized onions and goat cheese. Kind of a play on eggplant parmesan, but richer and better. My friends said that they often order it as an appetizer. It was unusual and delicious--I loved it. I do not drink alcohol, but I ordered a Berry Lemonade--strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry muddled with lemon soda. It was tart but refreshing. Platters were served with mixed of desserts--tiramisu, cheesecake and profiteroles. All excellent. The service and food were both great and we all had a wonderful time. Although it doesn't look like much driving past Irving Park Road, Bueno Terra is a gem that I highly recommend.

The food is excellent, across the board. They've also kept Hearth & Crust's pizza, which is a good thing. Cocktails remain superb, and Eileen has expanded the wine offerings to cover all of Italy, including an impressive Aglianico. We stop in once a month, or nearly so, and you should, too.

We enjoyed them immensely when we got home. Service was top notch. It was Father's Day and super busy but we were well taken care of and enjoyed the friendly service.

We quickly got seated and our server seemed pretty excited and helpful. We got some beer and decided to order the onion dip as our starter. It was soo tasty! Loved the ruffles chips with it. We then ordered the Pappardelle and the Rigatoni. The Pappardelle was out of this world and easily one of the tastiest pastas I have ever tried. The rigatoni was ok in my opinion, I was mainly excited to taste the lemon breadcrumbs but I couldn't taste the lemon at all. Overall a nice casual pasta place with great service. The prices were very reasonable too.

My son and his girlfriend have been there many times, and insisted we get the whipped ricotta appetizer and kale salad. Both of these items were top notch, as were the cocktails and we enjoyed. The pasta bolognese that the ladies ordered was delicious. My son had the burger and fries, and it was fine, just not very special. I ordered the "half" chicken, thinking as a bird themed restaurant, the only poultry entree would be a star, but that was not the case. A small thigh and half of a breast was their interpretation of a half chicken, and this was noted on the menu, but the portion was disappointing. The dish was supposed to to be accompanied by polenta with trumpet mushrooms, but two paltry slices of mushroom with a small smear of polenta completed the dish which "artfully" only occupied the left half of the plate, leaving the rest of the plate bare. Small portions aside, the dish was overly salty, to the point I had dry mouth the rest of the night, and the chicken was overcooked. The taste was fine, and the little bit of polenta added enough moisture to make the dish work. The worst thing was the incredibly dull dinner knife that couldn't cut through the mushroom, let alone the chicken, causing me to apply the stab and pull/tear method to get bite sized pieces. Everything thing else was superb. I would go back for the cocktails and appetizers, perhaps grazing the appetizers and a salad as a dinner. The pastas all looked terrific, but I will probably steer clear of the four mains on the menu, as they seem to be the least inspired items to order.
