My husband and I stopped here for lunch during the week. We both ordered their cheeseburger from their lunch menu. It's a great deal! $20 for a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer! I paid a little extra for a cider instead. The smash burger was delicious. I loved the grilled onions and how cheesy it was. The fries were also delicious and had lots of flavor. The only thing that I was just okay with was the cider; it didn't taste like much. The service was good. We ordered our food at the counter, and the person at the counter brought our food to our table. Can't beat the price, and that alone would make me want to go back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool place to stop for cold one and quick bite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Open since 2023, right on Main St., it's a friendly place to get a locally brewed craft beer and some good bar eats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped by mid-afternoon, there were plenty of tables, large bar seating plus small patio with a few high top tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall 4.0 rated for casual bar ambience, friendly service and tasty brews.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Expect to pay $10-15pp for food items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came in for a cold beer on sunny afternoon, enjoyed patio seating and shared their Fried Avocado appetizer - delicious snack to share![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For a quick visit, we enjoyed our experience and friendly bar service. If you like craft beer, this is a good brewery to try. Next time I plan to come for more food sampling that compliments local brews! Enjoy!

My friends and I were in the mood to try something "new" (to us) in downtown Ventura. We remembered that we've been all wanting to try BellRinger Brewing Co. and committed to the mission. My friends and I were really impressed with their food menu! Two pages front to back - at a small local brewery? Pretty unheard of but we were stoked. They had plenty of appetizers for sharing which we loved. But their mains were a pretty long list as well - burgers, hotdogs, salads, sandwiches, tacos and weekly specials. Pretty cool to see Pozole and Pork Belly Tacos on their specials menu. My friend and I both had a Balcom Canyon hibiscus cider which was super refreshing and hit the spot. The three of us shared a combination of appetizers and main dishes: *Fried Avocado Fries - literally a pound of fried avocado bites for only $12.....in this economy?! An absolute steal of a deal! *Extra Crispy Buffalo Wings *BellRinger Dog & the Ballpark Dog The food was an absolute home run (they have Dodger memorabilia inside so I can make this pun.) Everything was clearly made fresh to order and the portions were super big for very reasonable prices. They also don't skimp on the dipping sauces and toppings, they also have that good-good homemade ranch. I'm definitely a fan of this spot. It looks unassuming from the outside and could use a little music or energy BUT the food for a brewery is better then I would have ever expected. The staff working was nice and you order up at the counter so it's pretty casual. Prices again were pretty reasonable for the big portions and quality. Glad my friends and I gave this spot a try, totally hit the spot. I will be back.

This spot is the real deal. Great beer, amazing people, and easily the best smash burgers around. The kind of place you walk into once and immediately start planning your next visit. Josh and Cameron are incredible. They're super friendly, always down to chat about the beers, and somehow remember what you liked last time. The beer list is stacked, and everything tastes fresh and balanced. You can tell they care about what they're doing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is just easy. Dogs hanging out under tables, a few arcade games in the corner, families, regulars, and first-timers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the kind of spot that feels like a neighborhood hangout, even if you don't live nearby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're into good beer, great food, and chill people, this place is 100% worth checking out.

Chill spot with a good amount of seatings. They have house beers to choose from and guest beers as well. Service was chill and not overwhelming. We ordered: Smash burger was good with their sauce and caramelized onions . Wings were slightly dry

Found this place passing through Ventura because of InKind, and would rate this place very highly in customer service, beers and the food. Josh was really patient with us trying all the beers, introduced himself and asked us our names and made us feel at home. I had food off the seasonal menu and the pozole was very flavorful and I would recommend the tamale as well. My husband had the BBQ burger and would highly recommend that as well. If you are driving by this area and need to stop for a beer and food, give BellRinger a try, you will not be disappointed!

Came here for lunch in a slow Thursday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I opted for the lunch special which was $20 with one of their house beers. There are a few options and I went for the two tacos with tortilla chips and salsa. The tacos were DELISH with fresh corn tortillas that were crisped up. Everyone's food in my party looked super good - chicken Caesar wrap, smash burger, corn dog, and bratwurst. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in the area!

This is a fun, spacious bar/restaurant with phenomenal service and beers. I came in here needing to use the restroom immediately, and rather than interrogating me if I was a customer or some rando off the street (in which I guess I ended up being both), one of the waiters simply yelled the passcode to the restroom to me. My husband and I had the burger sliders and the single smash burger with fries plus a flight of all beers on the menu. Have you ever seen someone run around like crazy, helping other people? I saw this with all the servers. I can't be certain they had time to inhale oxygen. They were doing everything from bussing to cashiering to taking orders to making small talk. The okay: the burgers were a short rib/brisket/Chuck mix. It was thinly sliced, but not extremely flavorful. The fries: they needed more salt. They were nice and thick, but quite bland. You needed to drown it in ketchup. The good: delicious beer, but most are IPAs. If you love IPAs, you'll love these beers. I'm not much of an IPA person, but I thought the Bellringer amber available was absolutely delicious. None of the beers - even the yuck worthy in my opinion - were that bad, so you'll find something you like. The ambiance: relaxed/cool: sit at a table or bar and watch tv with no pressure. Or play a video game nestled in the corner while chowing down on food and/or beer. Conclusion: a great place to grab a beer and the service will be great! Ask any server and they will be available to help you out with any request or questions. P.s. Sean was one our servers and did a phenomenal job! You'll be in good hands with Sean or any of the other awesome servers!

Food is over priced. The beer is OK. I don't like it when you have to go to the bar and order your food and they expect you to tip them.

We came at the brunch hour so we ordered off their brunch menu. I got the Breakfast sandwich and my friend got a breakfast burger. We opted for just water today. My breakfast sandwich was as you imagined an egg sandwich to be. Cooked egg, 2 slices of bacon with aioli sauce on a toasted brioche bun. I got a side of hash-browns instead of fries. I would have preferred my hash browns to have a bit of a crisper crust but they were bad. My friend substituted sweet potato fries for the regular fries. The service was pretty good. Our waitress did check on us once our food arrived but didn't bother to refill our waters at all during our meal. I loved the low key vibe of the place. At least the patio seating. Just as we were about to leave there was a large party coming in which was a reserved table because we saw "reserved signs on it" and I heard the waitress asked how many dogs were there and the said 3.
