Nice little boutique hotel in the downtown area of Seattle. The staff was very nice and have someone in the lobby at all times. They have a small center courtyard area and one elevator. This hotel was in a great location. Walk-able distance to several food locations and Pike's Public Market. The staff is friendly and gave several great recommendations on where to go and where to eat. Right by the hotel is a grocery store and bus station. Rooms were very clean and neat I loved it and so quiet such a peaceful place, but in the beginning it was confusing because when asking how much I will pay I was giving four different numbers I got irritated, than I book an extra night I was charged $123 for another night, it's like they charged my card extra but told me a different price in person and over the phone, one day one guy said at the end of the stay you will be paying $375 that's all after tax including $52 deposit and the money was taking off my card they hold it at the end of your stay, but when I get to the counter a different price it was lower than the previous amount but the other amount was still taking off my card and the woman Jordyn was really rude to me I think she didn't like how I was asking so many questions and trying to understand, I didn't know hotels was so difficult to purchase. read more

Room was nice. No complaints. However, it would have been nice to know before my car got broken into that there has been a history of car burglaries in the "secure" parking garage that Belltown Inn provided for our stay. Had we known, we would have parked in a lot where there was an attendant on duty. Having said that, last night my car was burglarized, my friends laptop and backpack of belonging gone and my purse, that didn't have anything of value in it (easily replaced) was gone, too. I realize that it's seemingly unfair to complain in a Belltown Inn Yelp. However, when the cop arrived and asked if we were parked in "that" garage, he gave us both the knowingly look of, "it has happened before" and when asked, said, "Yes, quite a bit, actually." Amazing stay! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful for our first visit to Seattle. The room was clean and spacious and did the trick. The rooftop area was also very clean and had great views of the Seattle skyline. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and I think for the price it was great. Stayed here over the new year's weekend and it was a pretty decent hotel to stay close to the Seattle downtown area. It is about a 10 min walk to the space needle and 10 min walk to Pike Place. The hotel offered free champagne on new years eve which was a very nice touch. And they also have complimentary snacks, pop and water in the hotel room too. And tge staff are very friendly. A few downsides of the hotel is that it is a bit older and does have an smell along the hallways and the room can get a bit stuffy overnight. I would come here again for a short one night stay but would probably try somewhere else for longer stay. read more

I could have done 4 but that loss of a point really wouldn't have been the Inn's fault. LOVE the service. I was able to send them messages before our arrival to arrange a lot of things and get information about traveling there & getting there early. We had expected to just leave our bags for a few hours but they were going to be able to check us in roughly 50 minutes after we arrived which let us have breakfast. So, they held the bags, suggested the absolutely delicious Biscuit Bitch next door, and then after we ate checked us into our room. Throughout our two night/three-day stay the staff was very nice, kind, informative about the local area, and always ready to be of service. The place is clean! Much much cleaner than the Clarion near the airport! The rooms are just the right size, at least for those who are sleeping there and want comfort but also not intending on staying in the rooms. Essentially, they are slightly small but isn't the point to see the city when you travel and not to just stay in the room? The AC worked quite nicely, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked & had plenty of channels, and the clean bathrooms also had nice hot water. There was a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. They provided guests with coffee and tea plus in the lobby had delicious fruit infused water (though I wish they had that by 7 am alas not till after 9am ---sad face---). Everything about the room, lobby, and even the roof top was clean and welcoming. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Due to a number of reasons we were not going to be renting a car till we were headed to Olympic National Park. Thus, the Belltown was the perfect centrally located place. We were a short walk to the Space Needle & museums of that area, to the Pikes Market & all there is to do there, and from the Link Light Rail station. Truly, this place is centrally located. HOWEVER, this is also where there is a negative. The area has a lot of the 'wet/drug using homeless'. At night up on the roof patio you could hear them yelling at each other. In the morning and evening outside the Inn you would hear discussions about Meth, Heroin, and other conversations you rather not hear. While the Inn keeps the sidewalk outside the doors clean a bit further and the scent of piss and uhm... yeah permeates some of the area. The homeless, specifically the heavy drug users, are a massive issue (compared to when I was last in Seattle 10 years ago) and while the Belltown is in a great location for visiting Seattle, it also means it is in a location where the homeless will gather (especially in the park across the street). PRICE! All that cleanliness, the wonderful service, and a truly central location to the best parts of visiting Seattle are definitely worth spending a few dollars. Seattle is a rather expensive place to visit. That being said, I think the price is almost worth it. I really would have liked that fruit infused water to be available by say 7 am or even 8 am. We stayed on a Wednesday night and Thursday night (5/8 & 5/9). I am curious of the price that Alea E (elite) paid. On a Wednesday night we paid $305.30 and then on Thursday night we paid $220.11. Not sure of the difference between those two nights and why Wed. was more than Thurs. when you would think it would be the opposite. However, as stated initially the cleanliness, the service, and the location do make the stay absolutely worth it. Ultimately, if we do visit the area again and IF we can get the rooms at a lower price then we would absolutely stay here again. read more

Belltown is great location if you want to be in walking distance to the Seattle attractions. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the Space Needle, Pike Market and the museums. It's also right around the corner from bars and restaurants. There are shopping stores located nearby as well. We stayed in a one king sized room and had no problems with it. The room has a little sink and microwave with a complimentary "chips" - Cheezits and soda. There's also a rooftop balcony on the top floor open to everyone. The room overall was clean and perfect for our stay. The staff was great. We flew into Seattle around noon, and check-in wasn't until 4. However, we called to see if we were able to check in early, and the receptionist was really good about taking care of us. Due to check out being at noon and the rooms needing to be cleaned, the receptionist told us she would let us know as soon as a room was available. She followed up with us promptly, and we were able to check in an hour early. Like many Yelpers have said, there is a dog park across from the building, which we didn't have a problem with. There are homeless people around, but if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. AND coming from Sacramento where there are numerous homeless people on K street, the homeless people around Belltown Inn were tolerable. There is also a bus stop on the street of the dog park, so that's how you get people hanging around too. If you're going to do some late night walking to bars or a cool theater nearby, like anywhere else, walk with a friend/bf/gf. Overall, Belltown Inn was a great location for David and I. This place is super convenient for anyone looking for a decent place to stay in downtown Seattle within walking distance - it's really not bad! We didn't rent a car during our duration in Seattle. It wasn't necessary unless you plan on driving around other areas of Washington. Lastly, don't forget to eat at Biscuits Bitch next door! It's worth the try. read more

My husband and I went to Seattle for a weekend, and decided to get a room here. It was great! It's rare to find a room with a fridge AND a microwave AND a small sink/counter. We decided to spend 5 days in Seattle and wanted to explore all the museums and good food. We didn't want to bother with a rental car so we had to find somewhere central so we could walk everywhere. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and modern our room was. The rooms are smaller but comfortable and have all the good amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee, HBO, free wi-if). We are having a great time with our 4 year old walking to the aquarium, pikes market, Children's science museum, space needle, and all the restaurants and coffee shops in between! I have to give huge thanks to the great hotel staff, Markus especially! They are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We made a mistake while booking our room and reserved 1 double bed instead of two. We were really squished in one bed. It was completely our fault so we were just going to deal with it, but we decided it couldn't hurt to ask if they had a bigger room we could upgrade to. Markus was very kind and understanding. They seemed to be pretty full but he moved a few things around and within an hour we had a room with a bigger bed and we were so so grateful! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to our friends. read more

In summary - Location and the free loaner bikes makes this a very special place. The hotel is in a great location - next to several nice restaurants on 2nd ave. Free loaner bicycles made the trip very special for me. The room was very clean with new caulking around the bathtub. The room was a little small - but had everything needed including a microwave oven and even a kitchen sink. Nice water dispensers in the lobby - one jar with fresh fruit flavored water. Lobby staff were nice. What I did NOT like: 1. the excessive taxes ( energy surcharge and legislative surcharge that the other hotels do not charge). They should raise their price if needed rather than adding artificial taxes. 2. The alarm clock was bolted to the table making it difficult to change times. read more

Two stars and both of those are attributed to the rooftop deck. I stayed here for a week on business and I wish I had looked into the area this hotel resides in prior to booking my stay. There are alternatives for pretty close in price. Upon check-in, the receptionist tells me and it's going to be $30 for parking on top of the $1000+ I was signing off on. I told her whoa... I'll just park on the street, which EVERYONE should as there parking lot is not secure as-is. Your vehicle is for sure safer right out front of the hotel in all eyes. All in all this place just left a bad taste in my mouth. It doesn't seem secure in general at night. As other guests mentioned this area is SKETCH and the hotel leaves the doors open into the dark hours. I brought a small dog so I was also placed on the first floor in the smallest room - essentially a closet right by the housekeeping office. EVERY SINGLE DAY the housekeeping cart was inches from my door or on the other side of the hallway pushed against the wall in front of my door. With that being said we had no windows. There was a window, but it was directly across some sort of employee room, which we could see employees looking in and had to put a water bottle on the blind to hold it pinned to the corner. On top of that this place just wasn't that clean. The office leaves their back door open and you can see the back room which was filled with dirt and other types of litter on the floor - hair ties, etc. It was filthy. This place just left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't stay here again and I'd recommend checking out other alternatives. read more

Arrived really early and called for early check-in options. They called within an hour and said they had a room ready. We were set up by 10:30am! 2nd floor unit faced an alley but it's ok, we weren't there to stare out the window. Ear plugs provided for any outside noise, but we didn't use them. My only suggestion would be to install blackout curtains. The light from the alley was a little bright through the blinds in the middle of the night. This was my first time staying at the Belltown Inn. The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want walkable distance to the Seattle Center and Pike Place Market. They offer free bike rentals with helmets and bike locks. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. One of our room cards didn't work but it wasn't a big deal since my bf and I were always together. The room was super clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and the pillows were fluffy. It was nice having an empty mini fridge to store drinks and food. We were in a top floor corner room and the city noise was minimal. The rooftop patio is open 24 hrs a day and nice to enjoy some sun and a cold drink. There's alot of homeless folks hanging outside on the sidewalks and the bus stop across the street. If you have a dog with you, there's an outdoor dog park across the street. This isn't a 5 star luxurious hotel but if you're looking for a central location and have a smaller budget, this is the best choice! read more

Over my years as a young professional working for a tech company, I've stayed in some pretty fancy "digs" in very expensive cities. I'm talking about boutique hotels in downtown San Francisco, Chicago, and even resorts in Scottsdale. But, when you're paying for a hotel in a big city on your own dime, it tends to be a different story. I recently had to travel to Seattle for work (I'm relocating!) and a couple of weeks later for pleasure. The first trip out was covered by work, but I still wanted to stay somewhere within the budget and walkable. Belltown Inn fit my criteria. I loved my stay and the value so much that I booked two nights stay for my personal trip. And at $82/night on Orbitz, how could you pass that up? Needless to say, I wasn't expecting much from this place based on the price. I was totally wrong. What I found was a cute hotel with the basics. Practical soaps replaced the frilly spa stuff I rarely use. No 24 hour gym or snooty bellhops. No posh, unnecessary decor remodels to pay for. Instead, Belltown Inn offers great customer service, low rates and free EVERYTHING in your room. That's right, each room has a mini kitchen stocked with microwave popcorn, coffee, soda, water and a fridge, microwave, sink and basic utensils. Plus free Wi-Fi, bikes to ride, umbrellas to use (although I would NEVER, ha!), a rooftop deck, and they're pet-friendly. Here are some things to be aware of before you book at Belltown Inn: - NOISE & NEIGHBORHOOD: This neighborhood has homeless people, like many other big cities. You're also along a main road that has numerous bus stops, a few right around the hotel. You can hear people talking outside, the dog park next door and the sounds of a bustling city (sirens, cars, buses, voices). If you need total silence to be happy, I suggest you stay somewhere else. Perhaps even outside the city. There hasn't been one hotel in a major metro area I've ever stayed in where I didn't hear city noise. - WEATHER & TEMP: Seattle is relatively mild, even in the summer. Therefore the rooms have fans, not A/C. If you are always hot or just feel the need to only be cooled by A/C, this is not the place for you. I've never been uncomfortable here. - DECOR: While it isn't posh or super-updated, the hotel's decor serves its purpose: providing you a clean, comfortable stay. Were the rooms gorgeous? No. Was I comfortable? Yes. Was it spotless? Yep! - ROOM SIZE: The rooms are pretty small, but extremely efficient. I've stayed in smaller, way more expensive rooms. read more

I agree with many of the 5 and 4 star reviews- Belltown is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a decent hotel at a decent price! The location is just phenomenal- its about a 10 minute walk to the central downtown area and a 5 minute walk to the space needle. Doggy lovers will enjoy the "quirky" dog park right across the street from the inn as well. Plenty of great restaurants nearby for a high quality nosh as well (including Breakfast Bitch, Pho, and Dahlia). My little room was basic, nothing out of the ordinary. But to be honest, I spent most of my time exploring the area and attending a convention downtown. My room was clean and cozy- with a decent bed, average bathroom, microwave and mini fridge. I even noticed a huge portable fan in the corner of the room, but I didn't get the chance to try it out. I enjoyed that there were bikes available to borrow, not to mention a pretty awesome view from the roof! I also appreciated having the mini 'business center" available- hooray for free printing! Oh my goodness, the staff were just fantastic! Every time I left or entered the Inn I noticed either the maintenance or housekeeping staff working hard. The office folks were fairly friendly too (especially Ryan, that guy is pretty hilarious). Super minor nit picks: Parking will be an issue- but that's what happens when you're staying downtown. I paid the $20 a day for parking which is very steep. There are other parking garages sort of near by for a fairly similar price. There was nothing sketchy about the parking lot whatsoever- I even stopped by and checked on my car a couple times and felt perfectly comfortable walking alone. Wifi was spotty- again I'm being totally nitpicky here. I struggled to get a decent connection for the four days I stayed in my room. At certain parts of my room I could maybe get a connection, but this would last for only a couple minutes. Luckily, I know how to survive without internet for a few hours :) It will be a little noisy regardless of what floor you are staying on! I was on the top floor where the noise at night wasn't TOO awful even on St Patrick's Day. But you will hear street noise from your room, that is a given. If you are a light sleeper- be warned- you may need ear plugs! Considering these super minor "kinks," Belltown still fits the bill for sure, I'll be back! read more

This place gets 2 stars solely for it's location and one star for the free upgrade. My friend and i booked the room off of hotel.com and originally it was 1 queen size bed with free wifi. we thought it's fine since we were only staying in Seattle for 2 nights and 1 day. we got to the hotel at 10:30PM to check in. the person who checked us in was really nice and confirmed the room we booked but did not inform us about the free wifi even though the booking said there's free wifi. We asked and he said 'oh yes yes" and gave us an upgrade to 2 beds! and we asked if it comes with free wifi and he said 'no, that would be an extra $5' WHAT?!?! o_O but he decided to give us the free wifi anyways. we asked about parking or if there's a parking lot for hotel guests. The guy told us "no, street parking only." and we had to be out and move our car by 8AM the next day. Which was not true... here's a tip: there's a parking lot for hotel guests only for $15 a day just diagonal from the hotel. Ask the front desk about all day parking and they will give you a hotel parking placard. I don't know why the first guy didn't tell us this... we went up to the elevator to our room only did we find that the door had a "do not disturb" sign. we were so confused and my friend took the sign off and used the key to open the door. OKAY -- we were super confused this time when we opened the door and felt heat coming out from the room and saw trash everywhere! next thing we knew was someone half asleep woke up and we heard a 'WHAATT?!' we were like WTH?!?! and went back to the front desk. We told the guy who checked us in that there was a mistake in their system since there was someone still sleeping in the room...the guy was panicking and found us a vacant room. this time when we went to our room it was really empty. that was some weird experience... We were on the 2nd floor so we can pretty much see what's happening out on the streets. The hotel comes with a fridge with complimentary coke (1), diet coke (1), water bottle (1), popcorn (1) and coffee mix. TV is provided. There's no air vent in the bathroom so after you take a hot shower you have to keep the bathroom door open. Blow dryer is provided which is a plus. There's no toilet seat cover. There's construction working outside right next to the hotel. i'm not sure why but there was a lot of constructions going on all through out the city when we were there. Construction noise was what i heard right when i woke up. -_- Oh and the walls are pretty thin too. I can hear people from the floor above me stomping around... Oh yeah, "free wifi" never worked for us. The front desk gave us a piece of paper with the 'free wifi' login info -- info was invalid. we didn't bother to ask since we didn't want to go through the trouble of it. especially what had happened the first time with the non-vacant room... if you want to look for a place downtown for an okay price that is near pike's place then this is the spot to go. It is walking distance to pike's place -- less than 10 minutes. read more

Having never been to Seattle, I made a great choice by staying at the Belltown Inn for 3 nights. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. The neighborhood, and what I saw of Seattle (downtown, Pikes Place...) is very clean and walkable. Multiple places to eat near the Inn. The Space Needle and Pacific Science Center are nearby, with a monorail that takes you downtown. The Inn is also close to Olympic Sculpture Park. The room was very clean and much bigger than my studio in SF - coffee, popcorn and daily cleaning were included. Internet is $5 for a 24 hour session. TV gets cable and there was a large desk. Don't miss the roof deck with an awesome, but down home view. I will be staying at Belltown Inn again! read more

This review represents a very unfortunate turn of events for the Belltown Inn. Why? You see, as I type this, the Pacific Northwest is in the midst of one of the longest and most intense heatwaves on record. Temps have topped 100 degrees every day for the last 4 days, and life is generally awful. What does this have to do with this simple little hotel? Well, the Belltown Inn lacks air conditioning. That's right, no AC. Generally, you can count the days that this matters in Seattle on one hand. That's not much help as I sit here in my room, dripping sweat while I try to type. It's now 75 degrees outside, but my room is still a balmy 85 degrees. Yikes. Everything else about this place is pretty passable. The rooms are small and spartan, but the rooftop deck offers a great view (and a great place to escape your superheated room). It's close to the best entertainment in Belltown (yet another way to keep from sitting in your godawful hot room). They don't have wireless internet, but they offer a DSL modem for $5/night (which helps pass the time in your own personal oven... notice a theme here?) I wish I could be nicer, but I just sweated through my second shirt of the night. How unfortunate. read more

I stayed in a standard queen bed room with a kitchenette that was great value for the cost. The room was cozy, yet clean and comfortable. It was a bit stuffy in the room but we just had to crack window and keep the ceiling fan on. They do have wi-fi but service is spotty. Also, I didn't realize that the water and soda in the fridge and the popcorn were free. Service at the front desk was casual but friendly. When I checked in later in the evening, there were no spaces left in their lot but we were able to find street parking for free (starting 8pm on Saturday night and all day Sunday). Otherwise, our other option was to park at one of the paid lots in the area. We also were able to have the front desk hold our luggage after checkout, free of charge. The best thing about the Belltown Inn is that it is within walking distance of a lot of the major tourist attractions in Seattle which is very convenient. read more

I recently moved to Seattle from Phoenix (3 days ago) we couldn't find an apartment from Phoenix so we decided to stay here for a month until we found a place, and got a scope of the areas we possibly wanted to live in. This place is close to everything! We sold our car and got a rental for the drive up, I AM super car dependent. Phoenix is large and hot so have a car is not a luxury it's a requirement. Here it is a luxury. I wanted from Belltown Inn to Westlake Shopping and it was about a ten minute walk... ten because I got lost three times. Granted I am a fast walker, and not too much out of shape. The bathroom here is HUGE. I hate that it doesn't have a tub only a shower... more so because I have a dog and I like the bath him often. The room is small. (I am by the courtyard) DON'T PAY FOR INTERNET HERE. IT SUCKS. BAD... wifi. If you use the ethernet cord you will be fine. Bikes are OK, I took a ride once... but I feel better walking. The bed is pretty comfy, it seems it's some sort of memory foam. Rooftop deck gives you an ok view of the Space Needle and skyline, BUT BE AWARE THAT PEOPLE WILL BE UP THERE SMOKING WEED. DOESN'T BOTHER ME, IM FULLY AWARE SEATTLE LEGALIZED WEED. But if your conservative or don't like weed... probably shouldn't go up there at night. NO A/C!!!!!! You can get by the provide a small fan and there is a ceiling fan... and we leave the window open... it doesn't bother me too much because the heat is tolerable. The only reason I choose this place is because they have a walk score of 94, and they are the cheapest extended stay in the downtown Seattle area. Everything else what 2,000+ Oh and this is a PET friendly place... although they only have limited rooms for pets. About four or five. Thank god we called and they had a room for the time we were coming up. read more

Let me just start off with saying that the only reason why im giving this hotel 3 star is because their staff really did go above and beyond to make the inconvenience of our stay at Belltown Inn a little better. We traveled from California to Seattle and knew we wouldn't be able to check in I til possibly last 11 Pm. Because I had read on a couple of other yelp reviews that rooms weren't ready for other guests after a late check in, I decided to call the hotel before our arrival into the city just to make sure our room would be available. I got the confirmation over the phone (several hours in advance + email confirmation) that our room would be ready for us upon arrival. Once we arrived to the hotel, we were then notified that that had overbooked rooms and they did not have a room for us. This was about 1130 Pm. The front desk Night Shift staff ( really wish I got her name) was very helpful in trying to accommodate us at another hotel for the night at their expense. Other hotels were also booked for the night but they were able to find us a smaller room at the Belltown inn "supposedly." We had to downgrade for the night hit they took responsibility and comped our night. As I enter the downgraded room, I find this (please see pic attached) the room was under construction as we were NOT going to stay in there. Front desk found us ANOTHER open room ( at this point I thought they were overbooked, but okay? ) it was a king size bed, small, with very little space. At that point we couldn't be too picky since with was close to 1am by the time we were settled in. Location wise- this hotel is close to everything- about 10 min walk to pike place with several restaurants and night life only a few blocks away. The bad thing about this location, though, is there are a lot of homeless and people under the influence of drunks/ alcohol that decide to hang out right outside the hotel. Although it is not necessarily the hotel's fault, it is a safety concern. We were approached one night by 2 men and although it didn't lead to anything serious like some of the previous I read, I would definitely recommend driving or taking an Uber at night. The rooms are small but okay if you only need them for the night. Hotel provides umbrellas if needed and they were kind enough to hold our luggage even after we checked out. There's also bikes you can borrow. Although it is located in a convenient location I wouldn't necessarily say it is in a "safe" location. Again, staff tried to help make our stay better and I appreciate that, but I most likely won't be staying here nor would I go out of my way to recommend someone else to stay here based on my PERSONAL experience. read more

Belltown Inn - Room not ready/ under construction. - Hotels Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Pricy for this type of accommodation, but what do you expect, it's in downtown area. If you are looking for a good location and decently clean room, then this is it. The front desk though....doesn't give off an energetic and welcoming attitude. They are not bad, they are polite and will help you if you ask, but give off a vibe that they are just doing their job and they rather you not bother them if you don't have to. Every time I walk into or out of the lobby, none of them greeted me. I was always the one initiating a smile and greeting. And when I wanted advice on where to go and her recommendations on restaurants to eat, the lady was on her computer busy looking at...facebook? She turned around and gave a quick answer that suggested walking certain blocks to a direction to find more food and then immediately turned back to her computer screen. It wouldn't hurt if they try to be more friendly and energetic, it would have given me a more positive impression of this hotel. This is not a bad hotel, but not a great hotel either. read more

Stayed for 2nd time at Belltown Inn. Comfortable/clean/great location....we had a room on the corner overlooking dog park and alley which was very spacious...and practical layout. Coffee, fridge, microwave...sink and they say they 'include snacks'...which is a bag of chips and a few sodas...but they are free, which is better than most places do. Of course...WiFi...Very clean...Very nice folks work there..They have a roof you can go to for socializing or view on 6th floor...Bikes to borrow..I got a special rate on Hotels.com (of $68 per night)...good to watch for. I have no complaints EXCEPT...neighborhood has a LOT of homeless and some druggies around. I however walked to the grocery around corner twice alone and did not feel unsafe. .Can't beat the location...near a ton of coffee hangouts...like Macrini is good and close-by...GREAT restaurants....everywhere and a few blocks from Pike Market...and another few the other direction to Space Needle and Pacific Science Center. .also near List, a great restaurant with half-off entire menu at Happy Hour. If you are just looking to see the tourist sites of Seattle...this is a good bet. The lightrail from the airport lets you off about 4-5 blocks away...we walked but easy cheap Uber or Lyft...and transit system in Seattle is great way to get around if you don't want to rent a car...Belltown Inn is a great choice. read more

We stayed at the Belltown Inn for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself and the lobby were adorable, it had a retro feel to it that matched the pastel colors on the outside. The staff were friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. The room was a good size, with a kitchenette (it is also an extended stay), and the bathroom was designed well. My absolute favorite parts of the hotel were the free bikes and the roof deck. From one side of the deck you could see the bay and from the other you could see the space needle. The free bikes included saddle bags, helmets and locks, they also didn't have a timed rental so you could take them all day if you wanted (be prepared for the hills of the city!) The location couldn't have been more perfect. We had never been to Seattle before, which meant we wanted to see it all. We were a 5-10 minute walk from the Space needle and 5-10 minutes in the other direction took us to Pike Place. There were plenty of places right near the hotel for food, drinks or activities. I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat! My only suggestion is to make sure you have the staff actually check to see if your room is available when you go to check-in. One staff member told us it wasn't and then a few minutes later another staff member asked our name and said our room was ready. read more
